On Sunday, as usual Leon will invite the grandpa family to go to worship together. Without permission, he entered the house next to him.
"Wulan, grandpa, grandma, om Marquez, Aunt Melati, are you ready yet? Let's go to worship together." exclaimed Leon while checking one by one room.
"Leon, why are you shouting so early in the morning? Noisy to know." Wulan's murmur was upset at his friend.
"Well, why aren't you ready yet?" Leon was surprised when he saw the women were busy in the kitchen, cooking.
"Where are you going?" grandma instead asked back at the dazed-looking young man.
"It's Sunday. As usual we went to worship together." Leon tried to remind them.
"Sorry Leon, from this moment on we can't worship you. Because our path is different. I hope you understand the decision we made. But even so, we will still be good neighbors, help each other. Isn't that grandma?"
"Hem, what a pity." Grandma chimed in on his granddaughter's speech.
"But..why did you change that fast?" Leon still has a hard time believing the facts.
"Everything on earth has been arranged by God. You don't have to wonder like that. Now you should leave quickly, later it can be late if you stand there later." said Wulan reminded.
With a heavy heart Leon came out of the cooking arena. Along the way he kept silent with his wandering mind. Even when worshiping, he also does not concentrate.
"Leon, we know Wulan's a good boy. But it seems you're not fooling around with him. Do not keep thinking about it, try to move on." whispered his mother when she finished worshiping.
"Ma, Wulan was Leon's childhood friend, my first love too. How could I forget it?" Leon snorted in annoyance.
"Remember, everything that is too forced results are not good. Try to be sincere, who knows later can be a better soul mate." he added.
Leon began to carelessly respond to the words of his parents. Arriving at the room, he rushed up the stairs to his room.
"Do I need to follow in his footsteps, in order to unite with him? Ah, that seems like the right idea."
He rushed out of the room, then jumped onto the balcony towards Wulan's room. He banged on his bedroom door.
"Leon." screeched at the girl in surprise to see Leon already standing at the door of her room.
"What are you doing?" Wulan opened the door of her room.
"I want to say something important to you."
"Say it fast. I don't want us alone for long."
Leon chuckled at the words of his childhood friend. The two used to spend time together. Now Wulan could say that.
"Guil." Leon paused his sentence for a moment, then clasped Wulan's hand. The girl tried to let go, but as hard as Leon could hold her back.
"I also want to change beliefs just like you. As long as you want to be my girlfriend."
Wulan was surprised to hear Leon's words.
"Leon. You're a big boy, about faith, don't make toys. After all, like you moved, I also still do not want to accept you to be my girlfriend." said Wulan.
Whatever happens he does hold true to his principles, there should be no words of love in friends. After that, he immediately pushed Leon out.
"Don't pawn your faith for the sake of your love for me. I'm afraid you're sorry. Think wisely. Hurry home there."
