The Story of the Children of the Juragan

The Story of the Children of the Juragan
17. Painfully

Meeting after meeting continued to bring Wulan and Salman together. As in that afternoon, where Wulan was playing to Aisyah's house.

He and Aisyah are indeed faculty friends. The faculty of psychology. Since childhood, both of them always follow an acceleration program, because of their extraordinary thinking skills. So when at a very young age, already have a bachelor degree.

On the sidelines of his busy life, and after graduation Aisyah helped teach at his grandfather's cottage. While Wulan is still a wiri hero at will.

His parents gave the girl the freedom to do whatever she liked.

Wulan's eyes rounded when she saw Salman getting out of the car and walking towards Aisyah's residence. A smile also rose on his face. And do not forget, his heart was pounding when he saw the man of his tribe.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Salman said.

"Wa'alaikumussalam." replied Aisyah. He stood up and approached Salman who was standing at the doorway.

"Sorry Aisyah, is Fatih here?"

"There you are, wait a minute. Please sit down." Aisyah passed into the house, while Salman sat on the porch seat. Without him noticing since his arrival Wulan kept paying attention to him.

Shortly after, Aisyah was back with Fatih. Aisyah sat down near Wulan, while Fatih went out to meet Salman.

"Ai, Salman's brother has a girlfriend yet?" wulan chirped, his eyes unblinking looking at Salman's back as it looked from the window. Aisyah looked at her friend while frowning.

"He doesn't want to date."

"What! Continues to?" Wulan rounded her eyes, looking at Aisyah without a blink.

"If he likes women, directly in the application." replied Aisyah lightly.

He recalled his rejection of Salman. But he stopped to say that to Wulan.

"In lamar?" repeat Wulan with sparkling eyes. Aisyah nodded as well.

"Lan, you... There's no sense of the same as Salman?"

"What! I didn't hear wrong?" now Aisyah who looked surprised, while rounding her eyes. Wulan nodded confidently.

"You didn't hear Ai wrong. He is different from men in general. When many men adore me and even fight over me, he keeps away from me. And that's what makes me even more challenged."

"Wulans. You are different religions." said Aisyah.

He did not want his friend to suffer a painful heartbreak.

"What is wrong if we are different religions? It is not marriage that unites two hearts. Accept every difference. Without having to bring it up? And the most important thing is that we love each other."

Aisyah stared intently at Wulan. He only realized that his best friend had fallen in love, which every human being would experience.

But he fell in love with a man who could not be obtained, because there is a high barrier towering. Which is impossible to pass.

"Wulan, the essence of love is to love someone in order to obey his God. Not just sheer lust."

Wulan was silent for a few minutes. He thought about his best friend's words. In his heart he began to justify Aisha's words.

But he also did not know why, his heart could tremble since the first look at Salman.

Finally Wulan could only bow listlessly. The flower buds that were about to bloom, instantly withered.

Lord, why did You create this happiness, if I would finally be sad?

Why did You create a meeting, if at last there was a farewell.

Really, this taste is so painful.
