Chapter 12 Marriage Contract

Arin laughs with his back to his sister who should not know Haru first. Then Arin quickly closed the door.

“Why suddenly came?” arin asked frantically as Haru seemed confused by Arin's behavior and was still shocked by Arin's unusual appearance, making him blush in embarrassment.

“Contract .. earlier I had your phone call but not picked up,”

“Ya. We meet in the park. I'll catch up soon,” Arin said as she encouraged Haru to leave immediately. Then rushed inside with a restraint of embarrassment for his appearance which was like that to be seen directly by Haru.

“Kak, who was that?” anna asked who was waiting for her at the door.

“Ha?” Arin instantly becomes overwhelmed with his sister's questions. Because Anna should not be able to see Haru before tomorrow's meeting, this could raise suspicions of a contract marriage that no one should know. But it seems the rice has become porridge.

“My girlfriend,” replied Arin.

“Do not have a girlfriend?? Since when??”

“We're just dating, don't ask too many questions!! Learn there!!” arin said as he encouraged Anna to return to her room, but she continued to reject him and kept wondering. 

“Not in our neighbor? Who lives before ‘kan??”

After successfully inserting Anna into his room, Arin sighed tiredly and he immediately cried like a child out of embarrassment at Haru who had already seen his extremely chaotic appearance. Arin rushes to his room to tidy up his hair and meets Haru who is currently waiting for him in the park.

Dressed in a gray cloudy training suit, Arin covered his head with a hat so that his half-drenched hair would not be seen. From a distance Arin sees Haru waiting for him on the swing alone — sitting beside him.

“Sorry ... I came suddenly, I thought your sister was asleep,” Haru said feeling guilty seeing the look on Arin's face that looked sour.

“Neither, but how now, Anna uda know your face, I also said that you are my girlfriend, end I am confused to answer what …” said Arin with a whining tone.

While Haru seemed to be trying to restrain himself from smiling after Arin called himself ‘pacar’. It felt really pounding, even more so he saw the adorable figure of Arin who when surprised to see his sudden arrival.

“No what, it's better.” said Haru.

“You mean?” ask Arin — wonder.

“People will think it's stranger if you suddenly receive an arranged marriage tomorrow. If they know we've been dating can make our plans easier.” said Haru.

Arin was speechless while digesting Haru's explanation which turned out to be reasonable as well, he thought.

“If asked, since when is dating? Eat the answer not long ago? Then I'll say that if I shoot you first after knowing you live next to my house, we've met before, let's just say, that liking started our first meeting, then, how?” ask Haru.

“Nnot bad.” said Arin.

While giving an envelope containing a contract letter that must be signed. “This is the contract, you can read it again,” Haru said.

“Ah .. yes,” Arin immediately received it — issued a piece of paper containing a short-term marriage contract for 2 years.

“Iya. I forgot something important.”

“What is it?”

“Actually I have an anxiety disorder and depression.” Arin said with a heavy heart.

Haru was silent to hear it directly from Arin's mouth, even though he actually knew it secretly. Arin unexpectedly said that with his own desire.

“If for example, suddenly I become strange please don't bother me. Just give me the room for myself, after that I'll be fine. Sorry I just said now,” Arin said in a trembling voice,

“Iya. I-i understand. So ... do we directly sign?” tanya Haru chose to shift the topic so as not to make Arin say things that hurt himself.

“Iya.”

They signed a marriage agreement which means they are now officially a fake couple on a paper known only to them both. A short-term marriage that only lasted for 2 years ago then ended the contract with each other and returned to their own lives after the contract was completed.

The day two families met after all this time. Arin's family and Haru's family talk to each other while enjoying dinner. They were surprised by the statements of their two children who turned out to be dating while they were talking about their arranged marriage.

Haru tries to act like a girlfriend to Arin who still feels awkward. This was the first time for him to be close to a man after all this time. Being given more attention made her little heart touched. Arin finds out that Haru is only acting to convince the two families if they love each other. That's why Arin convinced himself not to waver with his feelings.

After dinner, Arin and Anna leave with Haru in the same car as their house is next to each other. What a day that drained his energy, Arin could only daydream to look at the window.

Several times Haru glanced at Arin on the sidelines he was focusing on driving, to ensure the state of Arin. It seems that this family gathering has made Arin feel exhausted.

“You okay?” ask Haru.

“Eh? Emm .. Is it okay?” arin said trying to straighten out how to sit so as not to cause misunderstandings.

Anna who noticed the behavior of the two people from the back seat thought, if their relationship is very awkward unlike a new couple who should be blooming. It felt a bit strange, seeing suddenly his brother had a very handsome girlfriend like a comic character he often read.

“Kak Arin really likes the same sweet martabak, if boughtin it can definitely return to his mood,” said Anna once made Arin immediately look back and stare cynically — told him to shut up.

“Ahh .. so apparently.”

“Don't be horrified! He likes to joke,” said Arin.

“Nno what, later we all stop by ya ..” said Haru very gently make Arin can not refuse it anymore. It feels like Haru's attitude is a little exaggerated if this is just acting. But Arin chooses to stop thinking about things that don't make sense, for the safety of his sanity.
