"Sir, are Mrs Arumi and Mr Rayyan inside?" asked Rini to one of the household assistants of Wijaya Kusuma's residence.
"She, Mom. They were in the living room" Tina replied kindly. Then, he shifted his body to allow a friend from the employer to enter the house.
After being invited to enter, then Rini stepped forward towards the family room. He walked half-running to meet his friend and his besi. It is not difficult for the woman to find where the family room is because for years she has been in and out of the house of Arumi's parents-in-law.
In less than five minutes, Rini had reached the living room. There Arumi and Rayyan were sitting uneasily as if something had just happened. Her premonition grew stronger as I sayup heard the couple up ahead saying the word 'divorce'.
"How about this, Dad, if Zahira really wants a divorce from Shaka?" said Arumi. From then on, the two women's hands gripped each other. His body moved restlessly without being stopped. Really, he was very worried about the fate of the beloved child's household.
Rayyan massaged her temple slowly. Suddenly the man's head felt dizzy after hearing the intention of Zahira who wanted to part with Shaka. "Come away, Babe, I don't know either. My mind is currently unable to think clearly. Everything was so sudden."
"The danger! This is really dangerous!" rini muttered softly after hearing the conversation between Arumi and Rayyan. Without wasting any time he turned back his legs.
"Rumi!" exciting Rini. There was clearly a look of anxiety on her beautiful face. Breathing heavily, it seemed like the effect of walking half-running left the woman exhausted. Understandably, the age of five heads so stamina is decreasing.
"Well, Rini, what are you doing here?" ask Arumi. He got up to greet his friend. The woman's eyebrows were still shrinking because she did not know why the iron happened to be there.
"Yes, I was on Shaka's phone and he asked me to come here immediately. He said Rara wanted to separate from Shaka, "said Rini. He is currently sitting with Arumi and Rayyan.
Arumi took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. "Yes, Rin. Rara had expressed her intention to separate from Shaka. Me and Mas Rayyan had persuaded him in all sorts of ways. However, he insisted on taking divorce as a last resort."
"Gosh, why is it so bad this is the problem. I thought everything would be fine after Shaka apologized, but it turned out ...."
"Mama!" a loud cry stopped Rini's conversation with her best friend. The middle-aged woman looked up her head and found Shaka standing with a deathly pale face in front of her.
Rini got up from the sofa, then said, "Rumi, Rayyan, excuse me for a moment. There are some things I want to talk about with Shaka." Without giving Arumi or Rayyan a chance to speak, he had already approached the son.
"Ma ... Rara .. a-I don't want a divorce from her" Shaka said. The man's voice trembled as he said those words.
Rini pulls Shaka's hand away from the living room. He took his son away to the back garden so that their conversation would not be heard by anyone. He wanted to interrogate his son.
"Tell Mama, why did this happen? What other mistakes did you make that Rara actually wants a divorce from you!" rini snapped while throwing her son's hand just like that. The anger in the woman can no longer be contained. Shaka's behavior really tested his patience. Compared to the two Shaka sisters, only the youngest made the woman ride apoplexy.
Shaka shook his head quickly. In a choked voice he said, "I'm not doing anything anymore, Ma. Last night I just apologized and admitted my mistake for lying. However, unexpectedly Rara even talked about divorce."
"Don't lie to you! There might be smoke if there was no fire!" spray Rini with a flash of emotion created in her clear eyeballs.
"For God's sake, I'm not lying!" Shaka's index and middle fingers were raised into the air to form the letter V. "I told my Mom honestly. Really."
Rini took a deep breath. There was no reason for the woman to distrust Shaka if her son had sworn in the name of God. Yes, as religious people, of course, we should not carelessly swear let alone carry the names of God. Moreover, the middle-aged woman saw from the look of Shaka's eyes there was not the slightest lie there.
"Whatever you guys talked about last night, Mama wants to hear." Rini was a little curious about the conversation between the child and her daughter-in-law last night. Who knows from Shaka's description, he can take a solution to this incident.
Hearing Rini's question, of course, was used as well as possible by Shaka. He began to recount the events of last night without a single thing being missed. Hopefully this way the mother can help him, maintain the household with Zahira.
"That's how, Ma, it happened. I was quite surprised when I heard Zahira's intentions. I think, by apologizing, our relationship could go on and start from scratch. But it turns out my guess was wrong. Rara asked for a divorce if she'd forgive me." There was clearly sadness on his beautiful face. Really, he never thought his household that had only been running for a month less would end up on the court table.
"Mama doesn't know how to persuade Rara, Ka. It seems that your wife's decision is inviolable. Your in-laws just can't persuade her let alone Mama." Rini said very softly. Didn't expect his words last night to actually come true. The sentence that says if he is in the position of Zahira will leave Shaka because it cannot stand to live with a husband liar.
Apparently the universe granted Rini's words. Last night Zahira asked Shaka to divorce her. As a mother, of course, she regretted having said so carelessly. Saying words that a mother should not.
Shaka approached his mother. "Mama, please persuade Rara not to claim my divorce. I don't want to separate from him" he asked seriously.
When he heard Zahira asking for their marriage at the end, he also felt as if the contents of this earth had collapsed on him. He can let Ziva go but not Zahira. For Shaka, Zahira is not only a friend, a wife but also an encouragement to his life.
Shaka rested in front of Rini, clasping the woman's hand so tightly. "Life, I've never asked you anything, Ma. However, for this time I beg to persuade Rara to cancel our divorce." The man's eyeballs began to glaze over. Imagining him living alone without Zahira's company makes his face more moody, no more bright rays when with Zahira.
Rini stared fixedly and in the brown iris of her beloved son. Every sentence that was spoken was truly sincere from the bottom of his heart. "Answer questions Mama honestly, son. Do you love Zahira?"
Shaka speechless. It was impossible if he loved his friend. The man did love Zahira and always wanted to be near the girl. But, to love?
"Shaka .. If you don't love Zahira, let her go. Don't force yourself to hold on. What is, you're gonna hurt each other. So, Mama thinks farewell is the best way for you guys," Rini said as Shaka continued to flinch on the spot.
Shaka bowed, staring at the shadow of himself on the floor. Honestly, she herself did not know how she felt towards Zahira. But imagining them divorced and living each man's heart ached like a prick with a sharp knife. Imagining Zahira getting married, giving birth and living with other men after they divorced made the man feel so unwary.
"I don't know how I feel about Zahira, Ma. But if I was given the chance one more time then I would try to learn to love him and forget about Ziva. I promise not to repeat the same mistake" Shaka said.
A thin smile was painted on the corner of Rini's lips when she heard Shaka's words. Shaka ... Shakas. Without you realizing that you are actually love Zahira, but you do not realize it. You just think that your feelings for Zahira are only friends. But apparently ....
Shaking the head fast. Thinking now is not the time for Rini to monologue. "Alright, Mama try to help you convince Zahira. But remember, don't lie to him again!" rini's words which the woman's words made the smile on Shaka's face rise.
Shaka replied, "I promise, Ma!"
"Review if you deny! Mama asked Papa and your father-in-law to hang you on a toge tree."
Shaka got up, then sat down next to Rini. The man's hand was holding the mother's arm. "Because ... Mamma. The same with my own child. Does your mom not love me?" Moving her body to Rini's shoulder like a kitten ngusel-ngusel her employer.
Rini sneered and twisted the lazy eyeball. "Mama doesn't love a bad boy like you!" Intentionally elevate the tone of speech as if being angry. However, deep down he loved the attitude of his spoiled son.
Shaka put his head on Rini's shoulder. Gently said, "Thank you for being willing to help me. I love you, Mama." The words ended with a kiss full of love on the cheek of the mother.
