Shaka shook his head while continuing to take a deep breath. I don't know why Ziva changed his mind. In fact, one month ago the girl seemed happy when they were discussing the wedding decorations and wedding dresses that will be worn during the wedding and reception. However, why now the girl even cornered him as if this marriage occurred only from the side only.
"So you think career is more important than our marriage, right?" shaka asked shortly after the man's emotions began to subside.
Ziva quickly nodded his head. "of course! My career in modeling has been my dream since childhood. There's been a lot of sacrifices I've made to be at this point. So, when there is a chance to model one of the famous beauty products in Asia, I do not want to waste the opportunity that could not come twice. Therefore, I want our marriage to be postponed for the next two to three years" said Ziva steadily.
"But I can't do it all, Ziva! Our marriage is still held according to the mutually agreed date" Shaka said.
In this case, he does not want to grant Ziva's wishes that seem ridiculous. According to the man, many will be harmed if the marriage is postponed especially the relatives, relatives from the side of Rini and Rio have booked tickets and lodging to attend the sacred moment of Shaka and the lover. When it was delayed, he was worried that the good names of his parents were ugly in their eyes.
Ziva releases the folded hand in front of the chest. The right leg crossed to the left foot is now treading on the floor until the high heels sound echoed as it was lowered roughly. "Loh, can't be so dong! The date of our wedding is the same as the date on which I have to go to Singapore, Ka! If I choose to marry you then my dream just disappears."
"Leave it! It's better than our marriage being postponed!" sergeant Shaka fast. A handsome man with a sharp nose stared fixedly at Ziva's brown iris. "Honey, I can still finance your daily needs. Giving a living to buy clothes, beauty products and vacation wherever you want, I can. Even if you don't work, we won't live hard. Trust me. So, please, don't go!" The palm of the young lawyer's hand touched the back of Ziva's hand then rubbed it gently. Wishing the girl a melt and preferring to be by his side.
"No want! Anyway, I'll go there or without your permission, Shaka! Besides, you're just my fiancee, not my Dad, not my husband. Understood!" spray Ziva while brushing Shaka's hand violently to make the lawyer jumped in shock.
Shaka's face flushed red, both of his hands clenched tightly. The man's jaw trembled, holding back the mixed emotions of disappointment. Ziva is more concerned with their career than their marriage while the marriage was planned one month ago. All needs are prepared. But why would Ziva change all that for something temporary? Does Shaka mean nothing in Ziva's heart?
Then, Shaka got up from his current seat. Both hands are still clenched to reveal the nail book. "If you insist on going to Singapore, go ahead. However, don't expect me to receive you again when you return to Indonesia! Even if you bow down, pleading under my feet, I will never accept you again. Catch that!" said firmly.
"Shaka, stop!" Ziva runs after Shaka. However, the man continued to walk as if he did not hear the cry of the lover. The beautiful model continued to swing her legs until she managed to catch the arm of her future husband. "Our conversation isn't over, but why are you leaving?"
"Our conversation is over, Ziva. There's nothing more to discuss." Shaka let go of the beloved lover's hand fingers that were coiled in the arms. "I'm giving you a chance to think clearly. So, use the opportunity as best you can. Don't let you regret it later."
Ziva looked at Shaka's back which was beginning to disappear from sight. The look in the girl's eyes showed how upset she was because of the attitude of the lover who never wanted to understand her. However, the reality is that Shaka always relented and obeyed all of Ziva's wishes but the girl did not remember him at all.
"Basic selfish! It sucks! He might threaten me!" gerutu Ziva's. Next to his feet he stomped on the floor with both hands clenched perfectly.
Meanwhile, Shaka steps towards a special parking lot for cafe visitors. Throwing the car door so loud that a very loud bang sounded.
"Shoppers! Why did this matter have to happen when my wedding date was only a matter of days? What if Ziva is determined to leave even if I forbid it? Argh, shit! Really shit!" Shaka ruffled his well-groomed hair. Really, the man's mind was so scared that he could not think clearly. "I'd better go home. My mood was ruined by that fight." Then, he immediately started the vehicle engine to the house he lived with Rini and Rio for twenty-four years.
