The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend
Sydney, Australia

As previously planned, the two human children who had held the holy pledge of marriage one month ago will honeymoon. If the first country of Japan, China and Malaysia was chosen by both parents Zahira, this time the beautiful beauty chose Australia to be a honeymoon destination with her husband. He and Shaka agreed to make Australia a honeymoon place because the country has a variety of natural beauty.

They had just arrived at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) when the clock struck at six in the morning. The couple immediately decided to check in shortly after arriving at their destination.

"Ra, we'll rest a few hours at the hotel. After a fairly recent break take a walk, how?" shaka asked Zahira for her opinion. The right hand held tightly to his wife's fingers very possessively, while the other hand pulled the suitcase in their clothes.

Zahira who was still sleepy due to the four hour time difference faster just nodded weakly. The long journey, which took approximately ten hours, made the girl experience jet lag commonly experienced by someone due to traveling quickly across several time zones.

"Yes, now we wait for the taxi ahead. Later you can continue to sleep again while waiting for the car to the hotel." Without refuting Zahira obeyed Shaka's words. The two took a taxi and headed straight to the hotel where they stayed during their honeymoon in Australia.

Entering the hotel room that has been transformed into a honeymoon room, both Shaka and Zahira are so amazed by the beautiful scenery ahead there. The beauty in the room did not escape the intervention of Rini who was so enthusiastic about preparing all the needs of the child and the daughter-in-law during the honeymoon.

The scent of roses burst into the sense of smell of Zahira and Shaka as they entered the hotel room. A luxurious room with various existing facilities was deliberately chosen by Rini during their vacation in Australia. Golden shades of dark brown color combination perfect the bride room of the two lovebirds.

The arrangement of rose petals formed to resemble a heart surrounds the wedding bed. Nine red balloons were attached to the ceiling of the hotel room. On the wedding bed, studded with rose petals and there are two towels that resemble a pair of geese.

Zahira gasped for a moment. He froze in the doorway watching how romantic the atmosphere of their bridal room was. Oh my God, I didn't think that Mama Rini would prepare all this, that girl's mind. He felt very lucky to have a mother-in-law as good as Rini so that the woman was willing to spend big enough to give a surprise for both of them.

The same thing was felt by Shaka. The twenty-four-year-old man was pecking at the spot as if an invisible nail had stuck in his toes. Why did Mom prepare all this? Oh God, what if Rara thinks I'm a dickhead who took advantage of the opportunity in a narrowness to take something precious for a woman. Yes, although I deserve it all because we are halal, but it feels awkward.

The atmosphere of silence was created for a while until the baritone voice of a bell boy woke them from the shock of seeing the beauty ahead there. "Master, all your luggage I've put in front of there. If you have problems, do not hesitate to contact us," said the tall man using English.

Shaka cleared his throat awkwardly because he had imagined how it would be if Zahira lay in her cage would be very pleasant. The face reddened like a boiled crab, making the man turn his attention in the other direction. "Okay, thanks for helping us."

"Together, Sir. If there is no other need, excuse me. Happy honeymoon and have a great day." The bell boy bowed his head, saying retreat from the presence of Shaka and Zahira. However, before leaving the room, the lawyer gave tips for having helped him carry things.

Right now, there was only Shaka and Zahira in that room. The atmosphere of silence was created again making the room like a lonely grave. There is a sense of awkwardness in both of them, both the lawyer and the doctor pretty narrow-eyed do not have any plans after living in the same room.

"Ehm ... Ra, you said you wanted to sleep again. Well, now we have arrived at the hotel and you can continue your activities that were disrupted. However, before that you should go to the bathroom first, wash your face and brush your teeth so that your sleep is more sound," said Shaka break the silence.

"Ra, this is a hot drink for you. I poured half the sugar in it because I knew you wouldn't really like sweet drinks." Shaka thrust a glass of chamomile less sugar tea in front of Zahira. He did not want his wife to shiver in the cold because the temperature in Sydney in spring is the same as in autumn around 18-22°.

Zahira, who had cleaned herself and changed into a nightgown, received the glass and said, "Thank you, Ka. I became your nerepotin. I should've made you a drink, not the other way around."

Shaka blew his warm drink while sitting on the sofa. "Look easy, Ra. I happen to be unemployed, not doing anything so it's better to make drinks for both of us," said the man. White smoke billowed into the air as Shaka blew away the warm liquid. He sipped slowly, enjoying the sensation of drinking tea together with his wife. "This morning we did not get breakfast from the hotel. So if you're hungry tell me, I'll order."

Zahira smiled sweetly, feeling happy for the attention Shaka gave her. "Yes, Ka. I'll tell you later. For now I want to sleep, so sleepy."

The girl reached out her hand forward, grabbing her mobile phone that was placed on the nightstand. "Look, in Sydney it was seven in the morning, while in Jakarta it was still three in the morning. I should feel sleepy." He showed the flat object in front of Shaka.

A smile on the handsome face of the lawyer. He put the glass with half the leftover stuffing, then walked closer to Zahira. "Well, if you want to rest, rest. I'll sleep in the bed, let me on the couch."

Dare to look at her husband's chocolate bead. "Are you seriously going to sleep on the couch? Not afraid of headaches and body aches due to a wrong sleeping position?" asked Zahira hesitatingly. He recalled the first night after they got married.

That night Shaka slept on the sofa and the next day the whole body and neck of the man was sick from refusing to sleep in one bed with Zahira. Now the incident is repeated again and he does not want Shaka to experience the same thing.

Again and again Shaka smiled looking at Zahira's very considerate attitude towards him. His childhood friend was so attentive. "Yes, seriously. I'm sleeping again, I'll wake you up at nine. I'll take you to a regular place to hang out with friends in college first. After that we just went to Sydney" said the man. He smiled and helped Zahira lay her body on the bed.
