The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend
Go home

Rini came down from the second floor. In the living room there is already Arumi, Rayyan and her youngest child-Shaka. The faces of the three people down there looked so tense as to be seen from the hand links gripping each other.

"Mama, how did it go? Did Zahira stick with her decision or did she give me a second chance?" shaka asked as he ran over and approached the mother. He had been waiting with anxious expectation.

"You are yes, instead of helping Mama down the stairs even directly nyerocos not kumuan," said Rini by raising the tone of voice.

"Sorry, Ma. I was too panicked to forget Mama" Shaka said. Without being asked for a second time, he immediately saw his mother coming down the stairs until slop slippers were worn on the floor.

"How's it?" arumi asked after her best friend sat down on the sofa next to her.

Rini raised her thumb and index finger into the air to form the letter O. "Pure. Rara is not suing for Shaka's divorce. However, he still could not forgive Shaka's mistakes. She needed time to treat the heart wound that her husband incised."

Everyone in the room heaved a sigh of relief because the unfortunate fate that had befallen Arumi would not be repeated again to the third child of the family Wijaya Kusuma. Including Shaka, the man's face immediately came with a wide smile to display dimples on the corners of the lips.

"Yes! I'm not a widower at last!" shaka said like the wind in a nervous season. Even so, Rini, Arumi and Rayyan can still hear the lawyer's words clearly.

"Even if you are not a widower, it does not mean that you can arbitrarily hurt my daughter again. If you make a mistake the second time, I can make sure your status turns into a widower in just one month. I'll take your Papa as the lawyer who handled your divorce case so you can't mess around anymore!" snickered Rayyan was annoyed.

Although in his heart feel grateful because Rini managed to melt the heart of Zahira and his beloved son is willing to give a second chance to Shaka, Shaka, but he did not hesitate to act decisively if later his son-in-law made the same mistake.

"Don't be happy! You still have a big PR to melt Zahira's heart. Show your seriousness and admit that you feel guilty. Mama was sure that after this, her attitude would change. So, work hard so that your wife will forgive and your relationship improves as usual." Rini chimed in on Rayyan's words.

"Okay, Dad, Mama." Now, Shaka can breathe a sigh of relief and sleep soundly because the mess of his household with Zahira has been completed. To find a way how to find the attitude of the wife who had frozen.

Arumi who was sitting on the flank by her husband and best friend just smiled watching how possessive her beloved husband when there is someone who hurts the feelings of their love fruit. The man was overprotective of his wife and two daughters. Fortunately Arumi, Zahira and Shakeela can understand so that they do not feel restrained, depressed or upset because of Rayyan's excessive attitude.

I hope that with this problem makes you all more mature, Arumi said in her heart.

In the afternoon Shaka brings back Zahira to the apartment which for almost a month has been a shelter for them. The youngest of the three brothers promises to start a new life with his wife and forget the shadows of the past even though to forget Ziva takes a long time but he will try hard to maintain the integrity of the house the stairs are with Zahira.

"Budhe, please bring Zahira's suitcase to the room!" pinta Shaka when they just arrived at the apartment.

Got an order from his master's son, of course, Budhe Erna rushed to carry out his duties. However, as he pulls the suitcase towards Zahira's room it suddenly becomes ....

Shaka's baritone voice echoed through the room making Budhe Erna stop the steps. Turning slowly, he stuttered and said, "K-to Zahira's room, Den. T-so, right, Aden asked me to take this suitcase to the room."

Seeing a sharp gaze like an eagle ready to pounce on its prey, Budhe Erna immediately bowed his head not daring to look at the face of the master. The fur of the kudu bristled along with cold sweat appeared to the surface.

Shaka fell silent, then let out a long sigh. "Bring the suitcase to the master room. Starting tonight, Zahira sleeps in my room."

A pair of narrowed eyes perfectly rounded when hearing Shaka's words. The owner of the suitcase rushed to her husband. "Disha! You're nothing at all! Why take a decision unilaterally, not the same discussion as me."

Gently Shaka replied, "Why should the discussion first? Shouldn't couples sleep in the same room? Then, why do we have to sleep in separate rooms?"

Shaka approached his wife, then touched Zahira's shoulder. "My room is large enough to accommodate two people. My closet is still a lot of space that you can use to put your clothes, bags and shoes. If it is not enough later I ask people to renovate the main room in order to become one with the guest room so that the walk in closet is getting wider."

Zahira brushed aside Shaka's two hands that stuck to his shoulders. "no need. Anyway, what are we rooming for. Aren't you allergic to sleeping in one room with me? The proof when you first came here you immediately showed me which room I could stay in except the main room."

Taking a deep breath, Shaka realized it was very difficult to melt the iceberg in Zahira. He did not blame his wife because the coldness of the girl's attitude was caused by himself.

"I was wrong to have built a high fortress on the first day of our marriage. I shouldn't have talked to you that way. You are my wife everywhere and wherever I am I should be with you by my side but I ask you to stay away. I'm sorry, huh?"

Zahira bit her lower lip. Apply the eyes several times, dispelling the crystal circle that almost glided in the corner of the eye. The girl's heart still ached like thousands of arrows slipping right in the chest as she remembered that the man who had stood as her husband had denied her presence in the apartment. Self-esteem felt stepped on and the abuse felt unappreciated by the man.

"I need some time alone Shaka. So, please, don't force me to sleep with you in the master room." Without lingering, Zahira left Shaka just like that.

"Budhe, let me take this suitcase. Budhe please prepare lunch for Shaka. I'm tired, I want to rest" Zahira said before leaving the living room.

Shaka stared at Zahira's departure with a rumble inside his chest. Take a deep breath and then breathe out slowly. "Patience Shaka. Remember he changed like that because of you. So, you also have to turn Zahira back into a carefree, friendly and warm girl."
