The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend
Love at First Look

Nizam stepped gontai into an index room that was not so far from where he worked. After getting wise advice and a little threat from the director of the hospital, he was welcome to go home without having to wait until the shift was completed. Want to refuse because he is not happy when taking off his responsibilities as a doctor, just like that, but seeing his bruised face and a few cuts on the corners of his lips made the man disobey Rayyan's orders.

The handsome man with the sharp nose and dimples in the corner of the lips sits his buttocks on the edge of the bed. His hand stretched forward, grabbing a figura on the nightstand. "Ra, is it really time for me to let you go? Burying all your hopes and dreams to live together forever?" Swiping the figura very carefully as if it is worth the price.

"I once promised to look after, love and love you until death. However, all your father said made me think twice about whether I should sacrifice my mother and sister to keep my promise to you. I love you so much, but if I had to sacrifice two very meaningful women in my life, I wouldn't be able to, Ra. I can't get them both involved in my personal matters."

Nizam was silent for a moment, then looked back at the brown figura in his hand. In the figura there were thirty Junior High School students in blue white uniforms sitting on chairs with a background view of the school yard. The photo was taken when they were both in the 1st grade Junior High School.

Of the thirty disciples, three were Nizam, Ghani and ... Zahiras. Apparently the handsome doctor used to be Zahira's schoolmate when they were teenagers. However, for some reason kept them apart for dozens of years.

Twelve years ago, during the new school year, a tall, tan-skinned male student swung his feet into a school building in Central Jakarta. Today is the first day for him to attend school at Tunas Bangsa Junior High School. In the spirit of four-five he walked into a classroom of 1A.

The male disciple stood in the doorway, then circulated his gaze to the corner of the room looking for an empty bench. However, all the benches were already filled with disciples who looked so enthusiastic. There was only one empty bench and that was ....

Confused Nizam, the name of the boy's student. Sit or not? Glanced at the cold-faced, expressionless male disciple sitting next to the empty bench. "Sorry, can I sit here?" ask Nizam to Ghani.

Ghani who was reading the book was disturbed by the presence of his classmate. Looking up his head, staring with a sharp gaze as if to say that he does not like if his activities are disturbed.

Aware that his presence was not expected of Ghani, Nizam took a few steps back. "I'm sorry I disturbed you."

The bespectacled thick male student with a bangs haircut to the front covered his forehead bowing his head, confused about where to sit while the class was about to begin.

"You're not on the bench, are you?" The melodious voice behind Nizam's body disperse the daydream of a thirteen-year-old little boy.

As if getting a big boost made Nizam turn his body slowly. And how surprised he was when he found a female student with narrow eyes, braided in two, looking at him with shady eyes. The sunlight broke through from the window glass, hitting the female disciple's face from the right side. Nizam's heart beat irregularly as the two neutrals clashed against each other.

"Hey, how are you quiet? You sick?" said the female disciple was named Zahira.

Nizam who was fascinated by the beauty of the female student became misbehaved. A whole new lifetime this time seeing a beautiful woman like an Angel.

"No, I'm not sick" Nizam said. "Ehm .. Yes, I didn't get to the bench. All the benches are full."

Zahira tilted her body slightly, pointing at the empty bench next to her Ghani-flag. "Follow me!" Without further ado, he drew Nizam's hand closer to his brother.

Zahira was never afraid to rebuke his first brother if Ghani or Zavier made a mistake. The slender-eyed female student and fairy tale lover would rebuke them directly.

Ghani closed the book in his hand. Then a quick glance towards Zahira and Nizam alternately. "But I don't like anyone bothering me, Dek! I want to sit alone."

Little zahira was upset. "Don't do it, brother! We are both in school. So you have to share. If you don't want to, I say Father and Mother, you know," he threatened. A sharp move that is always done when the two twin brothers refuse to comply with his wishes.

Hearing the words of his twin sister made Ghani not wart. The mouth of the eldest three brothers was silent for a moment.

Zahira let down her hands which she placed on her waist. Smiling proudly as it managed to make Ghani speechless.

"You're sitting next to my first brother. But if he's naughty with you, just tell me. I'm gonna hit him with my ruler." Zahira lifts a ruler into the air, showing it to Nizam. A sweet smile he gave to Nizam. That smile made Nizam Al Fallah fall in love at first sight.

Nizam's daydream came to a halt as a ringing cell phone echoed through the room. Snag a flat object measuring 6.5 inches from a pants pocket.

[Good day, Doctor Nizam. In accordance with the mutual agreement, I would like to hereby convey that you are no longer working in the Lotus Ward. Starting from July 11, 2022, you are transferred to the IGD.]

[For a while Doctor Nizam may rest at home until July 10, 2022.]

Sighing quietly as he read every sentence sent by the lotus ward chief. Aware that there would be a risk if Nizam would approach Zahira. How else, he had fallen deeply in love with the braid-haired little girl and the owner of the shady eyes.

"It's time I let you go, Ra. It seems that the sincere love I want to give you, will never materialize. Even so, I will still love you even though it is unrequited," said Nizam. Scrutinize the picture with feeling. "May Shaka be the right man to be with you. Give love, sincere affection to you."

Then, Nizam put the figura back into place. Then start sending a reply message. [Good, Doctor. Thanks for the information.] The man had already resigned to what had happened to him.
