The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend
Return to Indonesia

Seven hours and thirty minutes later, the plane carrying Shaka and Zahira arrived at Soekarno Hatta airport. After spending about five days with two honeymoon destinations, they finally returned to their homeland. Many hopes and dreams that they bring after returning home honeymoon, one of which is the news of the pregnancy of the beautiful beauty. For this business both Shaka and Zahira did not want to delay because for them the presence of the little one in the middle of the household is a sustenance from God that is priceless.

Shaka led Zahira's hand excitedly to the west exit. A potter followed them, pushing a trolley containing both of their luggage. Actually Shaka could have pushed the trolley itself, but he did not do because he wanted to focus alone with his beloved wife.

"It just so happens that this is Saturday, it will be a bit unfortunate that we visit the house of Father and Mother, huh? After that I just met my parents," Shaka said as they walked towards the online taxi that had been booked by the lawyer.

Rows of white and neat Zahira teeth are clearly visible when grinning widely. The woman nodded softly as she said, "Yes, I'll go along with what you said, Ka. It just so happens that I want to give First Brother's custody to Mother."

"Therefore, I invite you to meet your parents first before going to Mama and Papa's house. I'm sure there's a lot of stories you want to tell Arumi and Rayyan's father about Ghani, right?"

Zahira nodded. "really. Besides, I also miss them. Five days without meeting, it feels like centuries."

Shaka chuckled and embraced the wife's shoulder. "It used to be a strong support and lasted for six years to not go back to Indonesia even though he missed your family. Eeh, now only five days have said kangen. There-there's you."

The beautiful beauty sneered and twisted the lazy eyeball. "Because I used to have a reason why I didn't go back to Indonesia. If now .. yes different again."

The two people continued walking towards the pickup car while occasionally joking, teasing each other. Although the weather in the city of Tangerang is still too cold and the sunlight seems shy to show its charm, do not dampen their desire to vent the happiness that is being felt.

Shortly after Shaka's taxi car drove at a moderate speed, Zahira activated her mobile phone that she had turned off when they were airing above altitude. The rectangular flat object was constantly beeping, many incoming messages and missed calls through the green application.

Hearing the wife's cell phone ringing continues to ring, making Shaka's closed eyes open again perfectly. "Who from, Ra? How come from earlier your phone rang continuously, interrupting my rest time alone," said Shaka in a slightly irritated tone. Not annoyed at Zahira, but at the sender of the message.

"From Doctor Nizam," said Zahira without turning a single glance towards Shaka.

Eyes squeaking sharp, as if getting a dangerous signal. Then, Shaka inching closer to his beloved wife and grabbed a flat object with an apple logo behind him.

[Hello, Doctor Zahira, how are you?]

[How are things in Japan?]

[Why is my message nothing you reply to, are you very busy?]

These are some of the messages Nizam sent to Zahira. Every letter written there was very eye-piercing, making Shaka very upset.

Quickly whizzing. "No, Honey. I have absolutely nothing to do with him" Zahira replied before the third war in her household. "So you ask me to stay away from Doctor Nizam, that's when I'm no longer in contact with him. We'd just meet back if there was any work, and then I wouldn't be around him anymore."

"If you don't believe me, ask Doctor Hanna. He's a close friend of mine in the Lotus Ward" Zahira continued.

Shaka swiped Zahira's phone screen, then turned off her woman's mobile data. "It's good that you don't get close to him anymore. If I see you alone or communicating outside of work, I will use my rights as your husband to have Rayyan's father move the man to another ward so he won't bother you again!" threaten Shaka's. The man raised his chin haughtily and gave a threatening look.

Zahira who initially felt afraid of Shaka's attitude that seemed creepy, immediately chuckled amusedly and pinched the husband's stomach to make him complain. "Lack off a little bit of your jealousy, honey. Absolutely childish," said the woman in between her laughter.

"How not to be jealous, the man always approaches you when clearly you are the wife of the person. I sometimes like to wonder about her, is there no other single woman in the world to be approached by her? Why should you approach a woman whose status is already the wife of someone!" reply Shaka grumbling. He expressed his frustration in front of his beloved wife.

"From the first time I met him I felt that he was not a good man. He has a veiled intention behind his kind and meek attitude" Shaka said. "Therefore, I ask you to stay away from him."

Zahira sighed helplessly. He pulled Shaka's hand and held it tightly while saying, "I understand your frustration, dear. However, you do not have to worry because forever my love only for you. If indeed I want to be with another man, why not just accept a statement of love from my college friends? Many of them fit the criteria of Father, First Brother and Second Brother to be my life companion, but I am not interested at all because my heart is linked to you."

Both corners of Shaka's lips are pulled upwards forming an arc-like arch. He turned his head, then kissed the back of Zahira's hand, cupped and held her tightly.

"Your mouth is getting sweeter, Mrs Shaka Abimana. It seems that I should give you a reward for successfully tempering the emotions within me."

"Ck, what gift? At most you will oppress me as you often did when we were in Australia and Japan. You keep attacking me like a beast" whispered Zahira in Shaka's ear. He deliberately shrank the volume because he did not want to be heard by the driver in front there.

Shaka chuckled slowly again. "Hopefully understand, the name is also pursued deposit."

The driver sitting behind the wheel drove his four-wheeled vehicle out of the airport area, towards a highway that had been crowded with motorists. The atmosphere in the passenger seat was quiet again as usual. Shaka looked at the scene outside from the car window while clasping his wife's hand tightly while Zahira fell asleep on her husband's shoulder. Zahira looked so exhausted because while in the country people were always attacked by Shaka even though she was already pitying, asking her husband to stop, and then she would stop, but the man seemed to be deaf to the point of continuing to spew hot lava in the woman's womb.
