The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

The Substitute Bride of my Best Friend

In the evening, Shaka invites Zahira to dinner at a fancy restaurant she often goes to with her family while they vacation in Australia. A luxurious and magnificent restaurant was chosen specifically for a romantic dinner.

Already told in advance that they will have a romantic dinner, Zahira decided to wear an off shoulder dress to show her neck and shoulders flawlessly. Her pretty face is polished make up flaw less, even so she still looks beautiful even though only dressed thinly.

Zahira came out of the bathroom after feeling that her appearance was quite neat and not embarrassing if accidentally met Shaka's college friend first. Yes, there is a worry in the chest if he accidentally makes Shaka embarrassed because he looks unattractive to make the husband become a joke of others.

When the bathroom door was wide open, the man in a white shirt and black suit wrapped his sturdy body, fascinated on his dinner partner. Seeing the tiny body wrapped in a red dress contrasts sharply with the color of her skin soft white like silk.

"Shaka, can we go now? Um ... I'm ready," said Zahira timidly. A jet of pink hue was painted on her beautiful face. Being stared at so closely made the girl's heart beat irregularly.

Shaka is so fascinated by the beauty of Zahira, even though this is not the first time to see the wife look stunning in a dress or party dress. However, somehow the girl always managed to make a man of Middle Eastern descent turn away from everything and just fixated on the one point where his wife was currently standing.

"So beautiful," muttered Shaka, making Zahira's cheeks even more blushing. Which girl would not blush when there was a beloved man blatantly praising in front of her. However, Shaka immediately regained his senses after saying the last sentence.

Shaka cleared his throat to control himself not to keep looking at one of the beauties of God's creation. "Hem .. yes, let's go now! Tonight, I'm specifically renting a vehicle that will take you wherever you want. I'll be your personal chauffeur" chuckled softly trying to melt the atmosphere that felt quite awkward.

The handsome lawyer walked over and thrust his sturdy elbow at Zahira. "Who's enjoying our first romantic dinner, Mrs Shaka?"

"I-iya, Sis," Zahira nervously grabbed Shaka's arm.

So the couple walked to the hotel lobby, where four-wheeled vehicles were parked. Both of them smiled widely with flowery hearts. Many hopes and dreams are created after they have a romantic dinner ala newlyweds.

"Good night, Mr and Mrs Shaka. Please come in, the table you reserved has been set up." A man in a white shirt bowed slightly to Shaka and Zahira.

Shaka nodded in response, while Zahira gave a stiff smile as she was called 'mistress Shaka'. The girl felt treated as special as a great mistress. Though he realized that the status of marriage only starts from compulsion alone, without any love in it.

"Ra, before you go in, can you wear this?" Shaka grabbed a piece of black cloth from a plate propped up by a servant.

Zahira frowned looking at the thing in Shaka's hand. "What's that for? What do we want inside? Didn't you say we're just gonna have dinner?" the girl asked confusedly, meeting her gaze with Shaka's eyeballs.

"Later you'll know for yourself if we've gone inside." Shaka moved quickly back without giving Zahira a chance to ask again. The man unfurled the blindfold, then tied it tight, but still felt comfortable when worn by the wife.

The couple stepped into a five-star restaurant. The atmosphere is dim and quiet. Zahira paused for a moment because she did not hear any sound from inside the restaurant, not even the sound of the clanking of spoons and forks clashing with plates was heard at all.

Shaka approached Zahira's ear and whispered, "Trust me, I can't possibly harm you."

Zahira's feelings were a little calm when she heard Shaka's words, but she was still curious as to what the handsome man next to her was preparing for.

There was the sound of a chair being pulled, followed by the sound of a man's baritone. "Sit down, I'll open your blindfold soon."

Without rebutting, Zahira rested her butt on the chair. The rhythm of the girl's heart grew more and more irregular as she felt Shaka's breath being blown through her face. And occasionally the body brushes when the surface of their skin touches each other.

The eyeball closed, slowly starting to open. The lentic eyelashes moved and soon a pair of narrowed eyes opened perfectly. "Shaka .. i-this?" Zahira was no longer able to speak as if her tongue had suddenly become my tongue.

"Why? Too special?" guess Shaka while commenting on the smile on the face. "Women as beautiful as you deserve this special surprise."

Shaka's heart screamed. I should've treated you like a queen a long time ago, Ra. It's just that I'm too stupid to be aware of my own feelings for you.

Zahira still looked surprised at the surprise given by Shaka. How not, the luxurious restaurant was transformed in such a way that it became a very beautiful room.

The atmosphere was dim and silent, no lights lit only dozens of candles became the only source of light. Zahira spread his gaze, he was increasingly surprised even the jaw of the girl was almost dislodged when he found himself among a collection of candles formed to resemble a heart. Sprinkles of red rose petals scattered everywhere give off a special aroma.

Shaka sat in front of Zahira. A waiter brought a birthday cake. Cylindrical birthday cake with a height of about 10 cm and a diameter of 15 cm. The cake is coated with pink strawberry cream, looks so tempting. The top of the cake, there are four candles with the number 8760.

A servant resigned, having lit a candle and performed his duty very well.

"A very beautiful surprise, Ka. Why is the candle on this cake saying 8760. Is there any meaning behind all these numbers?"

Shaka smiled, his eyes unwilling to escape from the figure of a beautiful angel before him. "The four candles symbolize that for 8760 days, we have known each other. Even from the moment we were in the womb it was possible that you and I were chatting with each other using a language that only the two of us could understand."

The joke made Zahira chuckle softly. Tonight, Shaka's attitude seems so different than usual.

Shaka grabbed Zahira's springy fingers, then gently squeezed them. "Thank you for being born into this world and for being my rib, Ra. I don't know what to do if you hadn't been born into this world, maybe I would have been a weathered being forever alone."

Zahira's heart beat fast, almost jumping out of place. Shaka's attitude makes himself float up the awang. "But the proof is, you're not a weathered bachelor, Ka, because I was born into this world, following you."

"Aah .. yes, you're right. I have to pin the predicate of the weathered bachelor to your twin brothers, Ghani and Zavier, because until now they are not married" Shaka said half-jokingly.

"Aih .. why am I even talking about those two annoying guys. Just ruin the mood" Shaka continued. "Ra, we blow these candles together. But before that, make a wish first."

The two looked at each other, throwing smiles at each other, enduring the turmoil within each other's chests. Then, they closed their eyes and began to pray in their hearts.

Lord, always take care of the integrity of our household. Do not let a storm hit to make our ship sink and hit by the waves.

Lord, make my marriage and Zahira my first and last marriage. Bring children who are religious and can be useful to the nation and nation.

After chanting the do'a, both Zahira and Shaka opened their eyelids. Then the two took a breath, then blew out the candle on the cake almost simultaneously.
