The War of the Demon Controllers

The War of the Demon Controllers
Arc 1 Rescues Riel

Chapter 11's

The situation in the Lord's Residence was so chaotic and messy. On each side there was a battle between slaves and soldiers. In the north there is Lord Puqress who is being protected by Touf from the onslaught of Toras' smoldering attack. In the middle of the residence there is a death dance between Daedalus and Rouf. While in the south there is a guard who protects his nobles with Paluwar from slave attacks.

“Return if you don't want to die!” yell out the guard. He had thick black hair with a thick mustache. But no child cares about it. They continued forward and forward wanting to kill him and the nobles he guarded.

“It's revolution! Your Lord will die in our hands!” shouted a slave in the crowd.

“Sial!” The guard cursed him. “Since when did the cool spectacle you promised become a life-and-death battle like this, Lord?!”

A slave broke through the Guard's defenses and charged towards the Lord. He hit him and made him flat on the ground.

“Life and death?!” Lord retaliated. He was a red-haired noble, with a pointed nose and blue eyes. “Listen to me, Bedivere, there is no universe where someone from the Union will die just against slaves! The only one threatened with death here is me!”

Bedivere agrees. He who was the messenger of the Devil Guild could not possibly die against a hundred warriors, let alone against a few dozen slaves. But his mission made him have to withstand the force and hold back the power while protecting his powerless Lord raised concerns.

“Do not call my code name, Lord,” tell Bedivere. For his mission he was not known as that. “Lagian, where is the Gallahad?! Lord Puqress almost died it!”

The invasion of the slaves grew more intense, but Bedivere confidently held them back. Suddenly, a fat boy hit his body. “Heh! Want to clash with the power of his apparently?”

Bedivere thought the stocky slave, Yogot, had run him over for strength. Yet a smaller slave—Tael— broke through it and reached his Lord.

Tael put a knife to the Lord's neck. “Bedivere?! Look at me!” god was panicking.

Damn, curse Bedivere. If he uses all his full strength, then not only this stocky slave, the entire room will be destroyed by the make of—including Rouf and Touf. But that means his mission will fail. He tried to think of another way. He didn't find out, the only way was to summon his demons. Just as he was about to unleash his power, Yogot suddenly took off his crush and turned to pull his Hammer.

Bedivere saw that as an opportunity and immediately sent out a punch to let Yogot off. Yogot was hit hard, it made him almost lose consciousness. But the grip to Paluwar Bedivere not waver in the slightest. He salutes the freshness of Yogot, he wants to send a second punch but before he can punch, Tael yells at him.

“Do that again and I will not hesitate to slaughter your Lord like I slaughtered a pig,” Tael threatened. Bedivere looked at him and he saw Tael trembling and the threat was unconvincing. But the fact that the blade on his Lord and Lord's neck had trembled was also unheard of.

“What's with Paluwar?” ask Bedivere. But Tael did not answer and just brought the knife closer, slightly scraping the Lord's neck. “I swear you'll wish you were dead if you act stupid, slave!”

“Holder!” This time, Tael shouted back. “I swear your Lord will not die at my hands, but if it lingers then others will get here and give your Lord a terrible death.”

Bedivere looked at the slaves he was fighting slowly approaching him. He was fed up and he let go of the war. “What obsession are you with my Hammer!” He faced Tael and his Lord. “Now keep your oath!”

Tael released his Lord and retreated to the crowd. The other slaves were huddled up and Bedivere was made difficult to protect his Lord again, this time fighting with only fists and legs.

“I told you my life was threatened, Bedivere stupid!” Lord shouted.

Bedivere who was busy punching here and there while protecting his Lord shouted back. “Sial! This is all because of the spectacle of ‘asikmu’!”

“Good work, Yogot!” praise Lupan to him. He helps Yogot stand up, but Yogot staggers and Lupan has trouble helping him. “Hey, are you okay?”

“Holder ..., Daedalus ...,” Erang Yogot.

Lupan could have taken Paluwar and given it to Daedalus, but that meant leaving the wounded Yogot in the middle of the battlefield. It was like leaving him to die. A soldier in Lupan's eyes came to them, the soldier was badly wounded but he was still about to attack.

Lupan. He was clashing swords yet Lupan seemed to have some experience in sword fighting. Defeating a soldier who had been injured was no big deal to him. Lupan brushed off and managed to slash the soldier. Tael came in not long.

“Yogot is safe here with me!” exclamation Lupan. “Now give Paluwar to your brother and make sure my son is safe!”

Tael nodded and took Paluwar from the hands of Yogot. “Good work, rest,” he said. Then he ran with the Paluwar for their victory.

In the middle of the Lord's Residence, Rouf and Daedalus were still dancing. Who is tired first will be punished. His punishment is death. And Rouf had been panting from slashing the sword in all directions since a dozen minutes ago, but when Daedalus was about to give him death, his Frozen Demon armor had always been a hindrance.

“Bang!” The familiar voice stuck to his ears. That's Tael. Daedalus saw Tael coming while carrying Paluwar. “Put you!”

Tael threw the war hammer, not too high, but still up to Daedalus. Daedalus. So big, so heavy, it made it difficult to move as agilely as before.

“You want to smash my frozen armour with that Paluwar, slave?” Rouf shook his head. “There is a difference between fighting with a knife and fighting with Paluwar!”

“I won't know before trying!” reply Daedalus.

Daedalus was the first to hold Paluwar, but he seemed to know how to effectively use it. He put up the horses and Rouf who had been underestimating, put on a serious face looking at him.

Daedalus came to attack, he steadfastly floated Palu war forward. Rouf parried with his greatsword, but he staggered backwards. .The attack was not as agile as before, Rouf was right, but the attack was more effective. It's working! daedalus. Daedalus immediately sent out a follow-up punch with Palu war and each blow of Daedalus echoed and Rouf was clearly able to feel it.

But Rouf is an experienced fighter, a knight who won the tournament two years ago with a big sword just like the big sword he holds today. That time in the final of the tournament, the final battle was one-on-one with a Palu warlord. The figure he faced was more powerful than Daedalus but he, Rouf the Frozen Wall, won the final.

Daedalus continued to deliver the same blow and Rouf realized it. He fended off and made Daedalus continuously force himself to the highest point. He waited for Daedalus to weaken and let his guard down. And he found it.

Daedalus' final blow was a little slower than before, which is where Rouf saw the gap and shifted to the side by giving a large slash on the sidelines of Daedalus lashing out Paluwar's punch.

Daedalus was aghast, he held back Rouf's slash as much as possible with his Hammer. But the tank was not perfect, he felt Rouf's greatsword breaking through the Slime layer, scraping his skin. Rouf's powerful attack also knocked Daedalus several meters away.

He fell down, coughed from the impact. In his hands was still the Palu war and he rose again against.

Rouf finally spoke. “For a slave size, you are smart because you can think brilliantly find a way to penetrate my Frozen Demon armor.” Rouf praised, then he shook his head in disappointment. “But finding your opponent's weakness doesn't mean you can beat him. That's the difference from Experience, you naive slave!”

Daedalus realized it and he looked at Toras who was fighting Touf. Toras was also in trouble, his armor was consumed perfectly by Touf, making Toras so helpless. Touf approached Toras with a sword in hand, just as Rouf approached Daedalus. They are on the verge of death.
