The War of the Demon Controllers

The War of the Demon Controllers
Arc 1 Rescues Riel

CHAPTRE 14

The slaves and warriors as well as the two Knights were stunned to see Aurie's death. When his body collapsed and when his blood soaked the ground, no one took a breath. All quiet, silent. Then the silence was broken by a young man who went on a rampage over his mother's death.

When the red demon Daedalus appeared, then the slaves and soldiers woke up to reality.

"Demon Controller!" ser Corvark.

"I don't think the Red Devil came from a slave." Ser Gholam added. He put up the horses, gusts of wind enveloped his body like a protective armour. "Corvark, don't lower your guard."

The short Ser Corvark also mounted horses. The solid foundation of his sword was covered with water foam.

But the raging young man—Daedalus—tak vent his anger on the two of them. He who never wanted to take anyone's right to life, this time called out, "Torture and Kill him!"

The Slimonoid Devil with both his bare hands, soared to Aurie's killer. The Gallam Warrior greeted with a sword slash, slashing down one hand of the Slimonoid Devil. But as if he did not feel any pain, the Slimonoid Demon struck the Gallam Warrior with his remaining hand. He's thrown.

"You really fell into the path of the devil, slave," cried the Gallam Warrior.

The Slimonoid Devil did not reply and he immediately threw another punch. This time the Gallam Soldier's resistance slash only hit the wind. He was hit many times, as well as kicks. His body tried to run, dodge or fight. But the Devil Slimonoid won't let him go.

Soldier Gallam's face was swollen, a complete pain in his body. He crawled away when the Slimonoid Devil kicked him like he was kicking a ball.

"Help me ...!" erang Warrior Gallam. But the Slimonoid Devil kept kicking him repeatedly to the point where the Gallam Warrior was stretched out and the Slimonoid Devil twisted his legs hard. "Aargha!"

Ser Corvark with his Water Demon loan came to his aid, but Daedalus stopped his steps. Daedalus' body had been shrouded in the strength of his Slimonoid Demon Lending and in his hands was a warrior sword.

"He will die and he will die today" Daedalus said coldly. His eyes were red withstanding the cries and anger. He pointed a sword at Ser Corvark. "You too will die if you help him!"

Ser Corvark screeched and slashed Daedalus with his water scum sword. Daedalus lightly fended off, he flowed his sword with the power of the Slimonoid Devil, making his sword as if it was shrouded in slime.

Their swords clashed. The water froth on Ser Corvark's sword seemed to be absorbed and sticky on Daedalus' slime.

"You're happy that you were able to counter my element, Demon Controller?" Ser Corvark said. "Try this tank!"

The water on Ser Corvark's sword embodied into tentacles and the water tentacles slapped Daedalus' face. Daedalus was forced to retreat accepting it, he felt heat on his face. As he examined, his face sliced out blood as if he had just been slashed by a knife.

Ser Corvark stood before him with his sword taking out some water tentacles. "Ha! Feel."

Daedalus glossed over the blood and prepared to receive Ser Corvark's next attack. Although in a losing position, he was very satisfied to hear the groans of Gallam Warrior behind him. The Slimonoid Devil makes the Gallam Warrior's legs and hands as if they were a toy that could be twisted around.

"Please!" Gallam's soldiers screamed for help, but no one could help him.

On the other hand, the slaves who were taken hostage as well as the slaves who were attacking in the Lord's Residence had fought with the Warriors as well as the City Guards. After Aurie's death and Daedalus' assault, they took the sword they had dropped and attacked the Warriors and City Guards. But it did not produce satisfactory results.

Although both sides were equal, only a dozen of the slaves raised swords against the entire Warrior and City Guard. The soldiers who were being held hostage tried to resist with their bare hands or tried to escape, but were slashed to death just like that by the City Warriors.

"Save our family!" exclamation Lupan.

Tael behind the panic should do what. His heart crumpled upon seeing his mother killed by the Gallam Warrior and he was so eager for revenge, but if he were to advance just like that, then he would leave Riel and Hella, behind, two little girls who would be so tender were targeted. So he decided to take the two girls aboard while he tried to protect them.

A City Guard single-handedly charged towards him, he with a stiff sword greeted his opponent's arrival. He had never faced one-on-one with the City Guards before.

"Death slave!" the City Guard.

Tael also exclaimed back to dampen his fear. "Death!"

He slashed his sword but luckily the City Guard was slashed and fell on Tael. The City Guard was still alive, he shouted in pain while strangling Tael. The big difference in body makes Tael can not get out of the giggles. He rebelled, his eyes only watching the eyes and spit falling from the City Guards. He can't escape the giggling.

A sword pierced through the neck of the City Guard and he fell. Tael coughed managed to escape and looked at his savior figure. It was Riel, panting and crying she was holding a sword that killed a grown man while saving her brother.

"I ... I ...." Riel tried to speak while looking at her first murder.

Tael immediately grabbed her tightly and let her sister cry in his arms. "You saved my brother, Riel, you saved my brother. Thanks." Tael calmed him down, he felt like he had failed to become a brother for having let his sister do such a horrible act.

He watched the slave battle and witnessed it had become a one-sided battle. Only Daedalus and Lupan managed to put up a fight, the rest were massacres. Before anything untoward happens, they have to get out of here. So Tael yelled at the others. "Abang! Mr Lupan! All of them! We gotta go! We have to survive! Remember Riel and Hella!"

Daedalus and Lupan looked towards Tael and they came to a realization. As Daedalus departed from Ser Corvark, his Slimonoid Devil had also stopped playing around with the Gallam Warrior. He left the Gallam Warrior with a frothy mouth and slanted eyes and all the joints on the body changing direction.

But for Lupan, leaving means leaving his wife and some children. He can't leave, nor can he save them. In front of him was Ser Gholam, the Knight with the Wind Devil on his Pomegranate Gem. The figure of a fighter who once fought by his side before Gholam became a Knight and himself became a slave.

"Gholam, for the sake of our long friendship, please let me take my family away" Lupan said.

Ser Gholam replied with a headband. "For the sake of our friendship that has run out, I can't allow that. And for the sake of the remnants of our friendship, I will let you turn around and leave this city to never come back. War criminals like you should be grateful I gave you the chance to leave."

Spit shot. Face red. "You ate their shit! You think I'm the one who committed the massacre? Is that how I look at you, Gholam?"

"You're the meanest person I've ever known, Lupan," Ser Gholam said. He prepared the horses. "from this second I will attack with killing intent and call me Ser Gholam!"

Ser Gholam darted, his slash barely able to be held Lupan. With a clean movement, Ser Gholam gave a barrage of slashes to Lupan. Lupan on the other hand can not do anything and can only be pushed back every slash Ser Gholam.

"Stop playing around, Gholam!" Ser Corvark shouted, he with his Demon Water Tentacle sword stood before the Lupan family. "Stop him!"

Ser Gholam stopped his slash and let Lupan take a breath. Lupan realized where Ser Corvark was standing and what his intentions were.

"Don't try!" menacam Lupan's.

Ser Gholam was about to speak, but he abandoned any intention. He said to Lupan. "Go away and go away."

Ser Corvark smiled happily at Lupan's panicked face. With the tentacles of the Water Devil coming out from his sword, he slashed out once and the entire Lupan family being held hostage died simultaneously.
