The War of the Demon Controllers

The War of the Demon Controllers
Arc 1 Rescues Riel

Chapter 11's

Daedalus was at his limit. He again tried to give an attack with the Paluwar. He tried to move agilely as he held the knife. Waiting for Rouf to slash down with a large sword, he dodged and counterattacked.

Rouf slashed high, Daedalus dodged then he lashed out a punch with the Paluwar. Rouf's Frozen Demon Armor was plastered so clearly before Daedalus' eyes. But the Hammer was so slow, just before the Hammer hit Rouf, the Frozen Wall dodged away from him.

"Trying the same thing over and over again won't work" Rouf said. He kicked Daedalus until he fell. He began to get uneasy with Rouf's composure, as if Daedalus was not a worthy opponent. He raised his sword high, about to slash Daedalus, but someone shouted at him.

"It's so arrogant of you!" Tael yelled at him. In his hand he held the warrior's sword and he was ready to fight. "Let's fight me too!"

Rouf nodded willingly. "Come here, slave."

Tael attacked. "Yeah!" Their swords clashed. Such a huge difference in strength made Rouf manage to press his greatsword against Tael.

Tael took off his sword before he split in half and dodged, but Rouf sent out a follow-up punch that sent Tael crashing away. He tried to get up, his face was bleeding, his nose was nosebleed just from one blow.

Daedalus could not let it go. But how to win? He asked back to himself.

On the other hand, Daedalus saw the battle of Toras and Touf. Toras had lost the fire that burned his body. His fire armor was enveloped by the Water Devil Touf—'s borrowed power enveloping Toras in a water embrace.

Toras squirmed and managed to free himself from being drowned alive. He coughed taking a breath but his opponent had come to him, not letting him be free.

Touf drew his great sword. "You should be honored to have fought Touf the Flood. Now I'll give you death!"

Daedalus shook his head, if Toras didn't think of anything, he would die. He had to help Toras, but he himself never won against Rouf the Frozen Wall.

At that moment, Daedalus witnessed something that made him amazed and confused. Toras grasped the Jewel of Pomegranate in his hand, then slashed the pulse of his own hand. Touf also seemed clearly confused. Then shortly after, Toras' mouth uttered something foreign, something he had never heard. But somehow Daedalus knew what it meant.

"I offer you my pulse and blood, I ask you to fight by my side! Fulfill your oath to me, come, Frozen Fairy Demon!"

From Toras' blood-shed pulse, the blood washed the Pomegranate Jewel in his hand. From the Pomegranate Jewel that had been washed away with blood, came a dazzling beam of light and a figure came out from there.

Standing next to Toras was the figure of a Frozen Fairy Demon. The shape is almost the same as humans, but her face is so beautiful and her ears are pointy and slender. But his entire body was covered in frozen ice that fused on him as if the frost had become his flesh and skin.

"Stop that arrogant guy!" Toras.

The Frozen Fairy Demon held onto Touf's sword quietly, then froze the water sword in a flash and slowly freezing it flowed towards Touf who was enveloped in a water armor.

Touf tried to run, but the Frozen Fairy Demon chased after him. In the hands of the Frozen Fairy Devil had created an ice spear, which he then threw to Touf. Touf fended off one, but the Frozen Fairy Devil made another frozen spear, then threw it again, then made it again, and then threw it again.

Touf can only fend off a few. But Touf's body, which was covered in Water Demon armor, did not help him. The moment one frozen spear managed to pierce him, from the frozen spear it started freezing on Touf. Then another frozen spear pierced him from various points.

Chest, feet, hands, shoulders, belly. Whole about it. It was a one-sided massacre. Touf shouted, "Please, Rouf—!" But before there was a single breath, Touf was lying on the ground with his whole self frozen. He froze in a scream.

Daedalus could see Toras, the possessor of the Frozen Fairy Devil, his face turning even more pale. He tried to say a few more words but his body was not supportive. He immediately fell, fainted, unconscious. His Frozen Fairy Demon disappeared and re-entered into his Gift.

"Gruesome! It's terrible!" Lord Puqress exclaimed in surprise. He hugged Riel in a state of fear. "Devil! It's the Devil's Controller!"

"No, this is impossible, " complained Rouf. Rouf the Frozen Wall had just seen Daedalus make a panicked face. He ran to Toras, but Daedalus couldn't let him. "i'll kill you!"

Daedalus came while carrying his hammer. He hit Rouf from behind, but the man was able to fend him off.

"Don't bother!" moo Rouf. Rouf attacked Daedalus in a row, this time each slash harder than Daedalus had ever felt. He was so worried about Touf, his twin brother. But Daedalus can't let him go to help, he'll stop Rouf here.

"You're not going anywhere!" daedalus. He floated the Palu War again but Rouf kicked his stomach and made it stop on the spot.

As Daedalus and Rouf grew further apart, he had to do something to stop him. He could not let Rouf get close to Toras who had frozen his twin brother. Daedalus recalled a foreign language spoken by Toras.

He also has the Pomegranate Gem and he is confident he can speak the same language, it is worth a try. Daedalus cut his veins, blood came out a lot, he frowned. The incision is too deep.

"What are you doing, bang?!" Tael shouted worriedly.

But Daedalus knew what he was doing. He should try it. So he clasped the Pomegranate Jewel hard and his mouth started to say the thing Toras said.

"I offer you my pulse and my blood" Daedalus said, saying a foreign language that he had never learned as if it were his daily language." I asked you to fight by my side. Fulfill your oath to me, come, Devil Slimonoid!"

From Daedalus' blood-soaked pulse, the blood bathed his Jewel. From the Blood-drenched Pomegranate Jewel, opened a huge blinding light, an instant, which then brought out a figure.

The Devil Slimonoid appeared and worshiped him.
