The War of the Demon Controllers

The War of the Demon Controllers
Arc 1 Rescues Riel

CHAPTRE 15

Hope, white, anger, red. The emotion was stirred up in Lupan before his family was executed by Ser Corvark. Now, all he had was nothing but emptiness and despair.

He raised his sword and exclaimed to attack one last time, no matter what his life would be like to drift as well. However, the Slimonoid Devil confronted him and Daedalus spoke to him.

"Don't waste your life, sir!" daedalus.

Lupan was angry to hear it, how could Daedalus say his action was to waste his life while what he did was to take revenge on the death of his family. Daedalus must not understand him!

But Lupan soon realized, Daedalus today has just lost his father and mother. He also just realized the face of Daedalus as a result of holding back tears and sadness.

"Dad!"

Lupan looked towards the voice, on the horse Hella shouted to him. Child crying. His only remaining family cried and called out to him. Yeah, he still has family left.

"You'll reply to this!" lupan Exclamation on Ser Corvark. He turned to Gholam. "Don't be blinded by 'he', Gholam, Libbam's military isn't as clean as you think."

Lupan along with Daedalus and Demon Slimonoid ran away leaving them. Ser Gholam let it go and bowed to think of Lupan's words.

"Catch him, Gholam!" Ser Corvark shouted and immediately went chasing.

Ser Gholam sat down and rested. He witnessed the chaos around him and the smell of death. He didn't chase and just let Ser Corvark go. He was just thinking, even if Lupan managed to escape by horse, passing through the entire city with the City Guards as well as passing through the gate was not an easy matter. He could die.

Ser Gholam raised his hands high and could only hope. "For the sake of our old friendship, I wish you good luck, mate."

Upon reaching Hella, three horses awaited them. Lupan immediately climbed on the horse with Hella. After he kissed his son, he immediately ran away leaving the others behind.

"What the fuck?" Tael astonishment.

Daedalus paid no heed and had Tael ride on the horse along with the Demon Slimonoid, while he was on the horse along with Riel.

"Handle" he told Riel. Riel hugged the mane of the horse tightly and they followed in Lupan's footsteps.

The horse continued to drive away from the Lord's Residence. From the direction Lupan took, they seemed to be heading towards the South Gate.

"Where are we going after this, bang?" ask Tael.

They're driving horses to Lupan. Some of the City Guards were aware of their actions and tried to lay off, but none of them dared to block the horse's footsteps. The flocks of Daedalus were speeding.

"We have to get out of town, the rest is not important" Daedalus replied. There is an option they can go to the place that Toras suggests or they can also go far to the South. Daedalus heard far to the south was a place where there were kingdoms other than Hervarar. But he doesn't know the details, the important thing is, they have to get out of this town.

Passing through markets, slums, housing and even the field. Horses were driven fast regardless of the City Guards blocking them. Not noticeably, the huge wall of the South Gate had been seen.

"That's the gate!" exclamation Tael.

The herd spurred faster and before long they had reached the gate. The gate opened so wide, the light of freedom seemed to welcome them. But in front of the gate there are two horses with passengers who are familiar to them.

There Yvonne and Yogot are fighting. The Yogot carrying the Paluwar and Yvonne holding a City Guard hostage made a dozen City Guards swarm in. Abel cried and Toras was still unconscious.

"What should we do?" Tael asked.

"Just break!" exclamation Lupan.

Lupan spurred his horse taut and the City Guards realized his arrival. Not wanting to be hit, the City Guard jumped to give way and let Lupan go for freedom through the South Gate.

With wide openings open, Daedalus and Tael can follow in Lupan's footsteps and gain freedom. But that meant they had to leave Yvonne and the others. Daedalus had not yet finished thinking, Tael stopped his horse in front of the entire City Guard.

"Let's go up, Yvonne!" exclamation Tael.

"Bring Abel! Yogot, get Abel!" Yvonne's orders. Yogot was aghast to hear him immediately holding Abel and raising him on horseback. "Now get out of here, Tael!"

Tael flinched, noble for him to save a little boy, but he stopped for the sake of saving Yvonne and taking her away. Not Yvonne's sister.

Seeing Tael's hesitation, Yvonne shouted. "Wait what? Get out of here!"

As a result of thinking for too long, a City Guard stabbed the legs of Tael's horse and made them fall. The Slimonoid Devil immediately jumped down and dispelled the City Guards with his one remaining hand.

"I'm just an ordinary City Guard, of no rank," the City Guard replied, "i have no authority."

"Damn it!"

From behind, Ser Corvark drove fast on his horse. "Close gate! Don't give them a way out!"

The other City Guards immediately did as they were told, the South Gate slowly closing.

Daedalus stopped his horse and stopped with the others. "Get on the horse, we will break through" Daedalus told Yvonne.

"If I let go of this man, the City Guards will break through immediately and kill us" Yvonne replied.

"They wouldn't dare with the Devil's Slimonoid in the way." Daedalus told Abel to get on his horse. Abel riding in auxiliary by Tael. "The other immediately went up to the horse. We don't have much time."

Yogot gives Palu war on the Devil Slimonoid. "Protect us, please!" yells. The Slimonoid Devil accepts Paluwar and drives away anyone who dares to approach. Ser Corvark from behind further shortened their distance.

Yogot rides on the horse, he throws Toras at the horse like throwing a rice sack—Toras sounds coughed. Yvonne pushed away the City Guard and immediately climbed onto her horse, Tael riding with her.

After the City Guards were removed, the other City Guards immediately attacked. But one big slash of the Hammer of War from the Slimonoid Devil undoes the City Guards intent to charge forward.

"Open up!" daedalus' orders on the Devil's Slimonoid.

The Slimonoid Devil is like a madman driving away anyone who gets in the way of Daedalus and others. The City Guards retreated, some daring to advance and attack the Slimonoid Demon. But the Demon Slimonoid smacked the Guard's head into disrepair and made the others not dare to advance.

The herd of Daedalus drove away leaving the Demon Slimonoid and made it through the gate. The gate was almost closed. The light of the outside world drenched Daedalus, fragrant grasses and forests of lush trees in sight. Lupan who rode seemed to lead there. They're following.

Daedalus stopped summoning his Demon Slimonoid, the blood in his hands stopped flowing. But unexpectedly, the gate that was almost closed back up—open.

"They're going after us" Yvonne said.

"We just have to run, right?" ask Tael.

"Until when? We can't keep running, the horses are gonna get tired and we're gonna get caught."

That's when Toras woke up from his stupor. "Reverse," said Toras quietly.

Yogot keeps on racing horses not so heard.

"Say turned!" exclamation Toras.

Yogot is confused and confused. Yogot brought his head closer and listened to what Toras was saying, then he turned around.

"What's he doing?" ask Yvonne.

"Yogot, we have to go!"

Yogot did not care and immediately brought the horse near the gate. Toras, who was lying on a horse, tried to get down and fell. Several City Guards ran out to Yogot and Toras.

But everything went silent. The sky was silent, the birds stopped making noise, the ground was silent before shaking violently.

Toras with the rest of his last strength took out a Pomegranate Gem and exclaimed out loud.

"I offer you a portion of my soul, I ask you to fight by my side! Fulfill your vows to me, lend me the Darkness of your power, blow up that Southern Gate, Night-Man Devil!"

After Toras shouted in a language known only to himself and Daedalus, from both hands Toras manifested a black ball. The originally small one, slowly formed into a gate as big as itself. Then after that, the Great Black Ball slammed into the roof of the South Gate.

The City Guards who came out were thrown away. The magnificent South Gate turned into rubble. Debris fell and collapsed shutting down the South Gate.

"Yes!" Yogot exclaims happily. He didn't even need to face the City Guards who had been trying to catch up, as they were stunned by the fear of seeing what had just happened.

Toras smiled softly before falling unconscious. Yogot carried it and raised it on horseback, this time he did it quietly. After that they joined the herd and left Libbam City.

They have achieved freedom.
