The man called Tini came dragging his suitcase. Approaching the three women sitting on the terrace of the room. Mak Robin still stopped a few meters from the collection of chairs. The woman was half crouching waiting for her son who was scratching his leg. There was a slow tirade about not playing dirty.
The face of the man dragging the suitcase looked so serious. So serious was the man's face, instead looking a little annoyed, because Tini called him like a passing merchant cart.
"What's up, huh, Ma'am?" The man looked at Tini.
"You're the new kid, right? Must want to take the key," Todong Tini directly.
"Yes, right. I was asked to meet a man named Mak Robin. My room is over there, right?” asked the man looking at the door of the right corner room that was still closed and was empty for a long time.
Tini glanced at Mak Robin who was still down and spoke to her son. "Yes, right. I'm Mak Robin,” replied Tini. "What did you bring? Speaker, huh? Your daily work?” ask Tini with her nosiness.
Sejah only looked at the prospective new occupants at a glance, then he took a jar filled with emping and returned to thrust it to Dul. "You again? Take aja,” pinta Sejah on her son. Dul obeyed his mother, took a few pieces of emping and then returned to chew it.
Mak Robin's journey is approaching. His eyes could not help but notice the new occupant man. He then arrived next to the Colonized with Robin in his arms.
"Gak—no,” said the man impatiently. Although he looked annoyed, he still passed Tini's question patiently. "I'm SPB cosmetics at the front mall. Why?” ask again.
"You can sing, right? " Tini looked at the man in front of her from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head. "Come, introduce yourself to a song" Tini said. He glanced at Mak Robin, fortunately the woman did not hear, that she had claimed to be named Mak Robin. Asti just giggled while closing her mouth. Meanwhile, Sejah did not care so much about Tini's speech.
"You want a song, huh? I'll check the mic for a second. What battery can still be.” The man then squatted down his bag like a salesman, who would pull out merchandise. A moment later the man had pulled out a mic and turned it on. "Oh, I can still. What song do you want?” ask the new occupant. If by singing a song can start a good relationship there, he does not mind. But, the red-haired woman in front of him was very annoying.
"What song, huh?" Tini shakes her head thinking. “I keinget same one song. But ... Do you have another mic? Mic is another one. No?” ask Tini.
"There was. Yeah, it's a real mic. Is there anything that isn't real?” pissed Boy. “What song do you want to sing?” asked Boy, lowering the intonation of his voice that had been rising. He should be able to be more patient with the red-haired woman in front of him.
Moreover, the owner of the boarding house said that this woman named Mak Robin held the key to her room. A little more, he felt he had to be patient. This woman must be the ruler here, he thought. There is no harm in having a good relationship. He entertained himself many times.
"Come, try turning on the speaker. You're looking for a Gelora Asmara song. I want to sing that song, but you sing along, yeah. I don't care if I'm alone crazy in broad daylight. I usually go crazy at night,” said Tini.
Robin pulled up her chair and sat down. That afternoon they were like the arrival of an electronics salesman who marched with a speaker. Feeling curious, Mak Robin notices the young man deftly pulling out his phone, then connects the music channel via bluetooth to his speakers.
Sejah who had been watching quietly since then finally smiled. "Come, sing. I want Denger,” pinta Sejah.
"OK—Mas ... uh, whose name is it?” ask Tini. He realized that they had not asked the man's name since.
"Call aja Boy. Mas Boy,” replied Boy.
"No, ah. I'm calling you a name, boy. How old are you, until you want to be called Mas,” ketus Tini. “Lagian .. What is Mas-mas?” muttered Tini, observing Boy's appearance more closely.
Instantly Boy immediately looks riled up to hear Tini's words. "Yes, already. Call me name aja. The more obeyed, the more salty." Boy muttered very clearly.
But, even though Tini heard clearly the words of Boy, the woman was indifferent. Tini instead snatched the mic from Boy when the music started playing. He sat down and crossed his legs.
Tini closed her eyes, permeating the thumping music that vibrated out of the speakers. Boy then pressed the button that made the lights on the speaker flicker with excitement.
And ... long shrill scream Tini came out. The woman began to sing. Boy pulled out the other mic and joined the chant. Unexpectedly, their duet both sounded good.
Since I met him
at a party
what I guess
my heart is flowering
Long I've harbored
asmara
now I feel
you hi, Dara
your face is beautiful
where the eyes look
it is only you who are always imagined
(Gejolak Asmara - Nassar Sungkar)
Tini and Boy sang quietly with the sound of speakers that spread throughout the building. Some residents from the second floor were seen bending their heads down without protest.
Without Tini and Boy realizing it, that day they have both tied fate to portable speakers that will continue to accompany them to fill the days at the boarding houses.
Boy still standing near them. He turned off the mic and pressed a button on the speaker to turn off the lights. Boy felt, that afternoon one song was enough. His heart is not good. He just got into a storm with his dad over the phone. He has repeatedly complained that he is tired of being an SPB in the mall.
Boy previously lived in the boarding elite. He spent almost half his salary just to sleep and take care of his clothes. Not to mention the food. Because his capital application was rejected by his father, Boy again hung up the phone without greeting his parents. It's ticking for the umpteenth time. Then, he decided to move to much cheaper costs to save costs.
Boy bought a used motorcycle belonging to his friend at a much cheaper price. He wants to cut transportation costs. The next day, the bike will be delivered by his friend.
“Alright, if so I want to go to the room first. Mak Robin, where are my room keys?” tanya Boy, put her hand on Tini.
“Bah! Since when did you become Robin's mom?” mak Robin asked in amazement. “I'm Robin's mom? Is this woman the same you said?” Mak Robin pointed at Tini asking Boy.
Tini couldn't hide her laughter. The red-haired woman laughed heartlessly. Asti and Dijah laughed. Mak Robin pulls Tini's hair before entering her room to retrieve Boy's room key.
Boy looks riled up. However, Tini immediately poked Boy's arm. “Greetings, yes, Boy. Hopefully you and I can become one-time friends where to share rice and pour out the heart.” Tini blinked her eyes.
The excitement slowly faded from Boy's face. He then laughed a little while circulating his gaze at Dijah and Asti who was still smiling.
“Well, here's your key!” said Mak Robin, holding out a key that was given a wedding reception souvenir hanger who knows.
Two women walked across the courtyard towards the fence. They are second floor residents. Suddenly one of them spoke, looking towards Dijah.
“It! The widow who gatel is with my boyfriend. Don't bother my boyfriend. Even though I have a child. Which man wants to eat his son. Moreover, his father loved gambling. Unemployment,” said the woman in a voice that is not disguised at all. It was as if he really wanted to be colonized who was sitting there to hear it.
Colored speechless. He looked at Dul who was crouching in a pile of rocks with Robin in the boarding yard.
“That's the guy, Mak?” tanya Sejah looked at Mak Robin.
Mak Robin nodded. “Clearly you heard, right? All this time he's been squirming to your bedroom door. But, you're rare. Today, vented all.”
Boy who was about to walk into his room, undo the intention. He stopped to hear the conversation on the terrace. Everywhere is the same, he thought. The insinuations of the cowardly mouth will always be there. He recalled the recent incident at the mall where he worked.
“The mouth is so evil,” muttered Boy unconsciously. He had no intention of interfering, but the women in front of him had not bothered anyone since. Especially the woman who has held her child since. Boy glances at Dijah.
“Where, Jah?” tanya Tini, glanced at Dijah and looked at the two women who were walking away out of the fence.
“Now there is Dul. Tomorrow morning,” says Sejah.
“Boy!” squeak Tini suddenly.
Boy flinched back a step so surprised. “What?” sergeant Boy was really surprised. The red-haired woman in front of him was indeed the most rowdy.
“Besok mornin get out your speakers. We should be promoters of the Sejah. He has to win. For the sake of the existence of the first floor child,” said Tini.
Boy nodded, though not too understanding. He turned back to the woman named Dijah.
Colored only silent half-dreaming while looking at Dul. “Which man wants to eat my son?” gumam Colored. His eyes were staring at Dul.
