TINI SUKETI

TINI SUKETI
59. Start Seriously

Usually when Tini is near people, he rarely hears crickets. That is because every face to face with anyone, Tini always managed to start a conversation to melt the atmosphere.

But that night, Tini ran out of ideas. His mind branched and his concentration split. His body was next to Wibi and his soul was fragmented into Cokro Village, to Agus, and to the new company that recruited him.

“I went to your office this morning,” said Wibi at last.

Tini immediately breathed a sigh of relief as Wibi started the conversation first.

“Oh, meet Mr Agus, yes? Have you signed MOU?” tini asked, looking back looking suspiciously at the Boy window opposite her. The dark room whose windows were wrapped in cloth was usually just camouflage. Boy often said that he peeked at people from inside the room when the room lights went out.

“Iya, meet Pak Agus and I have signed cooperation.” Wibi looked at Tini briefly then looked at the window of the room.

“Kok, I think it's weird that we're both sitting on a wall. Come, Mas. The chair's daughter,” said Tini got up and pulled her chair to get to the wall. He then looked at Boy's bedroom window while thinking, from the gap where usually Boy peek.

“I want to go home to Surabaya, Tin. My business in the meantime is done,” said Wibisono.

“Ha?” Tini. Didn't expect Wibisono to leave Jakarta so soon. “Kok, cepet?” tanya Tini, touching the handle of the chair occupied by Wibisono.

“I want to take care of the branch in Surabaya first. If it is done, I go to Jakarta again to start a new office. Yesterday was the location of the office shop. Recommendations from Heru,” explains Wibi.

Tini nodded slowly not knowing what to respond to. Want to hold Wibisono longer, but he has no reason. After all, he also did not have much time to think about whether Wibi had any special feelings for him or not. Until that moment, for Tini everything was still gray.

“When was the last time you returned home?” tanya Wibi looked at Tini. “You've been so busy lately. Parents not nanyain?” connect Wibi.

A question that so permeated Tini's heart. He was instantly silent. “I have rarely come home since I left the village. My mother is not there and I often check with my father because of his bad habits that I do not like. Don't ask what. I'm shy.” Tini stared at Boy's window across the page.

“At least you went home to nyekar to mom's grave. Or make your sister-asik squirm,” said Wibi.

Hearing the word ‘nyekar’ Tini laughs. Wibi looked astonished at him.

“Kok, laugh?” wibi asked with a frowning forehead.

“Yang Mas Wibi said just now it had a point. I once shuffled to my mother's grave. Bring the sickle to clean the grave, I bring flowers, I chat myself stories to my mother, continue long prayers ... uh, know-tau wrong grave.” Tini looked at Wibi who was trying hard to hold back her laughter.

“You laugh, yes, laugh. I'm okay,” said Tini. Then they both laughed in the darkness.

Their laughter stopped and the atmosphere returned awkwardly. “No girlfriend yet, Tin?” ask Wibi suddenly.

“Numbered, Mas. Now I have no boyfriend. I'm getting tired. I'd say all men are the same, but it feels, really, unethical. At first I had a target to get married quickly because I remember my age. But the more pursued, the more distant the target. I just don't want to be disappointed anymore. So I decided to relax. Let it flow,” said Tini while smiling wryly. From the tail of his eyes he realized that Wibisono was staring at him.

“I haven't either. If you want to know. That's just information,” added Wibisono. “I'm not looking for a girlfriend now, Tin. I sonorous wife.” Wibi looked back at Tini who did not want to look at her.

Tini actually wants to directly answer, “Sama dong, Mas.” But he chose to remain silent and mysterious. That night he sets up a mysterious mode to confront Wibisono.

“I don't care if I've talked about finding a husband.”

“What's the reason?”

“My future to have a good household is extinct in Cokro Village. My boyfriend married my best friend because he was pregnant. Maybe if I were pregnant first, I would marry him. Fortunately not. I used to cry for being betrayed. But now I can laugh. Maybe it's God's way to save me from the wrong person.” Tini laughed heartily.

Wibi looked down for a moment. He looked at his hands clasped between his knees. He then turned back to Tini who was looking at him.

“Tin ...,” call Wibi.

“I want to know you to my parents. How?” asked Wibi, looking at Tini who looked confused. “Why? You're again having a deck with someone?”

Tini shakes. “Nothing. Not about that. I don't care, Mom. My life's business is troublesome. What I'm telling you is there's not half of it yet. Mas Wibi will not be strong with me—”

“Bara can be happy with his wife and children. I had a lot of conversations with Bara and I was amazed by his decision. Bara great. He is much younger than me. But he can convince his wife. I understand what Heru's big family was like a long time ago. That's why I can say that Bara was great to convince his parents.” Wibi wet her lips and gulped.

“Yes, Mas Bara is great. He's a great guy to be Colored and Dul. At first I also did not expect that Mas Bara, who is the impression of a young man today with his big motorbike, could seriously pursue Dijah.” Tini laughed again. “Mas Bara it has been tested physically and mentally. He is quite tired we make,” added Tini still laughing.

“So, Tin?”

“I think about it, Mas. Mas Wibi wants to go back to Surabaya, right?” Tini won't answer anything. The future remains gray. Let alone another month, five minutes after stepping foot out of the fence, Wibi could have changed his mind.

“Then I'll excuse you. Uday malem,” said Wibi with a slightly disappointed face. He stood up from his seat.

Tini stood up immediately. He had not even entered his room and changed his clothes. Wibi also did not have time to offer a glass of water.

“What's wrong? Still got Mas Heru's car, right? Liver-hat—”

Tini's words were interrupted. Wibi pulled him closer and kissed his lips. In the darkness of the terrace rooms and the courtyard of the quiet boarding, as well as the songs of the dangdut music of the inhabitants of the second floor are still playing. Tini who was still wearing high black shoes had to slightly tiptoe and look up to receive Wibi's kiss.

Wibi's left hand pressed against her waist and the man's right hand held her nape. Just that time in history Tini felt a kiss as sweet as that. A sudden kiss that was slightly forced upon him.

They stood together to close their bodies. Wibi's hands now cupped her face.

Tini closed her eyes. He was nostalgic for a feeling he had almost forgotten. His two hands were hanging awkwardly on both sides of his body, slowly raised and holding both of Wibi's arms.

I don't know how long, Tini can't count the time. Wibi then let go of the kiss and smiled at him.

“I'll excuse you to go home. Tomorrow I take the first plane to Surabaya. You take care of your health. Don't be too tired and .. I hope you think about my call.”

Tini hasn't had time to mince words. Wibi had walked away from him and was lost behind the fence wall.
