Before lunchtime, Tini is increasingly restless as she has not found the right reason for permission for two days the following Sunday. Training assignment deadline tomorrow. But the task had been typed neatly and printed this morning in a multi-purpose room in the office.
Tini's already considering asking Dean for permission. Among all the superiors in the office, only Dean was included in frequently talking to him. Two trainees are out for lunch. As for Tini, looking down holding the paper on her lap while occasionally throwing a gaze at Dean who was still busy scrolling through his tablet screen.
Tini cleared her throat slowly, then clenched her mouth. He cleared his throat again, then smoothed the paper on his lap. Then ….
“What do you want to say?” Suddenly Dean raised his gaze staring intently at Tini.
Tini flinched and held her chest. “Shock,” murmur Tini. “That is, Sir?” Tini looked at Dean with a slight thump.
“Kok, even my name?” Dean threw a probing gaze towards Tini. “You want permission? Want what? Where to?” ask Dean.
“No, really, sir. I just want to assign this task,” said Tini, stirring the paper that had been held since.
Dean frowned and cut his lips. “Yakin? Just this?” Dean waved the paper in his hand.
“You are amazing,” said Tini.
“Oh, this is not my science. But science my mother,” cetus Dean.
Tini was astonished at the answer, but she did not care who the science came from. This is his chance. “Next week I want permission two days—”
“You to the home of the future-in-law?” guess Dean.
“Iya, Sir. How, Sir? May, Sir? What that will affect my grades during the training period. If you can say, both are important, sir. This job has to do with my finances. For family. The other is for my future. I'm afraid I can't …. Well, I'm not feeling good, excuse me. Not good too, kok, even so vent.” Tini echoed both of her hands in agitation. He does feel bad. Already given the opportunity to work in a good place with insider recommendations, but even impressed a lot of behavior.
“I personally do not matter if you excuse me not long. As a new employee, you do not have leave rights. But again, I give you a privilege. Give me something that makes you deserve that privilege. If your work is stacked upon returning from a short leave, how about?” Dean turned his chair slightly and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
“If my work is stacked?” Here asked back.
Dean nodded with lips plucked.
“If my work is stacked, yes, I'm jerer, sir. If lined up not stacked,” replied Tini with an optimistic face.
Dean snapped his finger in front of Tini. “Learnest. I like your way. Don't forget to let me know the results of the family meeting. You must really practice what you have learned.” Dean got up from his seat and grabbed his phone and tablet.
“Oke, Suketi .. later I have info to Mr. Wimar. No more than three days. After that short leave, you should be able to give amazing results for your first task later. Excuse me first,” said Dean, waltzing out of the room after patting the dust on both elbows of his suit.
“Wah .. amazing,” whispered Tini. “She received my answer with a chest. Though my answer is just from talking.” Tini stared at the door of the room that was slowly closing.
That was the biggest problem for Tini. After going through it, Tini felt his body lighter all day. His stomach was amused by the actions of a group of butterflies who were waiting for Wibi and his sisters to come to pick him up to a new office.
If Wibisono asks him where he's going that day. Tini one hundred percent will say that he wants to visit his home.
And Tini's guess didn't miss.
“Where to every day?” ask Tini when you get in the car. Dayat had been waving at him ever since the car approached the terrace of the building. While Evi's face greeted him with a smile from the back seat. Tini was curious about the half-dead thing her sisters had been through that day.
“Liat Monas, Ma'am!” dayat from behind.
“Seneng. But even more cool if you see Mbak Tini together with Mas Wibi.”
Almost Tini issued the word ‘kampret’ to respond to Dayat's remarks. Tini just huffed. Wanted to hit Dayat but the young man immediately shifted his seat further away. Dayat is already very adept at guessing the physical attacks that are often addressed by his two brothers.
“Where are we going? Are you laper? Do we eat first?” ask Wibi to Tini.
“To home Colored, Mas. I promised the same Dijah would go to his house. Yesterday Dijah came with Mas Bara, kept Evi and Dayat to his house. How?” tanya Tini looked at Wibi.
“Kok, how? Yeah, come. I also like chatting with Bara,” replied Wibi started running her car. “Especially you have promised to Dijah,” connect Wibi.
It had been a promise, but Tini had not told Dijah about their arrival that day. Tini immediately retrieved her phone from the suit pocket.
‘Jah, kowe nang umah to? I'm gek nang ndalan meh rono karo Evi lan Dayat. Trus karo secretaku sing ndek wingi kae.’ (Well, you're home, right? I'm on my way there with Evi and Dayat. Same secret yesterday.)
Five minutes later, while the phone was still in Tini's grasp, Sejah immediately replied.
'Oh secretane teapot digowo wae. I nang home. Yo wes ndang. Didn't wait. (‘Oh the secret is directly brought. I'm at home. Yes, I'm waiting’)
Tini's spirit is stirring. The journey to the house of the Sejah which is usually felt never long, the day felt longer. He can't wait to show off his secret to Dijah. In his little heart, Tini also hopes that Bara is home. He wanted Wibi to be a little more busy while he and Dijah exchanged news.
“I went down first to call Sejah, Mas.” Tini got off the car as they stopped outside the fence of the Bara family home.
Wibi was picking up her phone from the dashboard compartment when she answered Tini's remarks. But the woman jumped out of the car.
“Diiijaaah,” shouted Tini from outside. His heart was relieved to see the car and motorcycle Bara was in the carport. Though usually he hopes a little if Bara is working every time he visits the house.
Shortly after his screams, Dijah appeared with Bara who was holding Mima. He ran to the fence and opened the door wide. His head was wobbly looking for who the figure of the man that Tini had reported as his secret. Evi and Dayat emerge from behind the car. And when Dijah was surprised to see the arrival of Wibisono, Tini hurriedly pulled him.
“Eh, there is Budhe Tin—” Bara Remark stalled.
“Iya, Mima .. This is Budhe Tini. But Budhe wants to talk about urjen (urgent/emergency) with Mima's mother. Excuse me—” Tini slammed into the house. Bara. Mima who was astonished to see his father's face, immediately swept Bara's cheek with his tiny hand.
"Budhe Tini is getting cocky now, son," Bara murmured to Mima.
"Tin, wingi kae meh opo karo I'm a secret matter. Secret opo meneh to?” (Tin! Yesterday I was talking to you about secrets. What secret?)
Sejah who had been impatient since yesterday, immediately flocked Tini with questions.
"Wis ora meneh secret, Jah. Wes do knows kabeh." (Udah is no longer a secret, Jah. Everyone knows it.) Tini laughed stifledly shut her mouth.
"Heleh gething me. Saiki I must have been the coolest dewe knowing your secret. Kudune pas wingi kae teko. Ethok-ethok nyimpen secret kuwi. Wit Mbiyen is smirking me." (Ih gemes me. Now I always know your last secret. Should have spoken yesterday. Pretending to hide the secret is fun. I liked it a long time ago.)
“Hush, your shell, Jah!" (Hush, your mouth, Jah!)
“My actual cup, Tin. Your cage kuwi sek ora really." (My mouth is real, Tin. Your mouth is not real.)
