US: The Irreconcilable Story
Chapter 26 The Wound

"Gue still doesn't believe the people I love. Lyn, how did you turn into a monster in such a short time?" I muttered, inwardly staring at the street from behind the closed car window.

Bang Aksa lowered the half-glass window on the side where I was sitting and then turned on the musical instrument. The wind blew every strand of my hair, making my hair seem to play with the wind to the rhythm of jazz music that Bang Aksa played.

"Brooklyn is the past I have to live in." My inner self inward, with a strong determination to forget Brooklyn.

As soon as the car was parked in the garage, I went downstairs and entered the house. When I was about to climb the stairs to the room, I met Bang Arsa and Mama, their faces look worried, whether Bang Aksa had told everything or not, I do not know for sure.

"Where are you from, Shana? You know the house people are worried about you? Why don't you go out of the house and say something?" My mother immediately showered me with so many questions that demanded answers.

I couldn't answer Mama's question, making me choose to shut up and cover my cheeks with my hair, bowed.

"Syan, Mama is talking to you again. Are you quiet?" asked Bang Arsa, who walked over to me.

Bang Arsa held my shoulder, made my body face to face with her. Maybe from the sidelines of my hair, Bang Arsa could see my cheeks that still look bruised although not as bad as before I compress them with cold water.

"Why are you cheeks?" bang Arsa asked me, who was silent and fixated.

"Let me clear." Sahut Bang Aksa, who just entered the house while putting his car keys on the table.

Bang Arsa looked at Bang Aksa, he scrunched his forehead then for a split second squinted his eyes towards Bang Aksa.

"Don't tell me you slapped Shana?" bang Arsa asked Bang Aksa, who was walking towards us.

"Gue knows he's wrong, don't tell me if you're out of the house but you don't have to hit him too Sa!" bang Arsa, who was upset.

"Syan, you're just resting." Puncak Bang Aksa to me.

I stepped up the stairs to the second floor, where my room was.

"Clearly with me, what is this?" ask Bang Arsa, emotionally.

Their conversation could still be heard clearly in my ears.

"We're talking in the living room, yuk." Take Bang Aksa to Mama and Bang Arsa.

I opened the door to my room and locked it, I immediately threw my body on the bed and closed my eyes, initially I had difficulty sleeping but finally my eyes began to sleep and sleep.

I woke up as soon as I heard Bang Arsa knocking on my bedroom door while calling my name. I saw a wall clock installed on the front wall of my bed, the clock has shown at 15.45 WIB, apparently it has been 3 hours more I slept. I also moved from the mattress, opened the door for Bang Arsa.

"Come in your room, will you?" bang Arsa asked me, who was standing under the door frame.

I nodded, agreeing, I interceded so that Bang Arsa could enter my room.

Bang Arsa sat on the edge of my bed, me too.

"Sorry Bang Arsa yes." Bang Arsa said, her voice shaking.

Bang Arsa bowed to see the floor of the room that was shining because of the reflection of the lights.

"It's not wrong Bang Arsa, Shana who never horrified the words you asked Shana to go to Brooklyn."

Bang Arsa smiled softly at me, then held my hand.

“Abang can not read your mind because it's brother hope you reveal if you are no longer okay, do not hold everything yourself, Syan.” Bang Aksa eyes sparkle.

I smiled softly while nodding.

“Udah afternoon, you eat first yes.”

“Abang has made your favorite food. You like rawon, right?” bang Arsa continued, who confirmed whether I like rawon.

“Udah, already.  Unhealthy noodles.” Bang Arsa got up and walked to leave my room.

“Mau ramen anyway.” my whine, in order for Bang Arsa to comply with my request to cook ramen.

“Rawen same rawon different thin, would not you?” asked Bang Arsa, who was standing in the doorway.

“Iya deh.”

"Kok use 'Deh' anyway? Can you not use 'Deh'?" ask Bang Arsa, pouty.

I just laughed and ran ahead of Bang Arsa.

At the dinner table, I saw Mama who was pensive.

“Ma, why?” I asked, pulling up a chair to sit next to Mama.

Mama looks at me with a smile, her eyes look puffy and wet as if crying.

“Mama is okay.” Mama put rice on my plate with a smile.

“You should eat a lot.” Mama, stroked my cheek.

I'm sure Mama has heard everything from Bang Aksa, Mama did not want to show her sadness in front of me but I know the cause of her sadness today is me

“Ma.” Call me, while scooping the rawon made by Bang Arsa onto my plate.

“Why baby?” mom's voice was so soft.

“Mafin Shana..” My voice is vibrating.

Hearing my trembling voice Mama immediately hugged me and sobbed.

“Syana is not wrong, Shana Mama's son is the best. The perpetrator was wrong, utilizing the love that Shana kasih.” Mama patted my back.

I hugged Mama tighter and spilled all my pain in her arms.

“Syana should be strong yes, Mama sure Mama's child can go through everything.” Mama said, I could feel Mama's tears dripping down my shoulder.

Mama looked me in the eye and wiped my tears, then wiped her tears.

“Syana should know that Shana is not alone. She still has Mama, Bang Arsa, Bang Aksa and Papa.” Mama smiled softly as she flicked my hair behind her ear.

“Syana must eat, Mama does not want you to be sick.” Mama let me out of her arms.

I catch my breath and then eat Bang Arsa's cooking.

“For a week you take a leave of absence yes, earlier Brother already called your homeroom.” Said Bang Aksa, who walked closer to the dining table.

“Two days, Bang. Shana don't want to miss a lesson for a week.” My legow

“Four days, how?” ask Bang Aksa once more.

“Three days.”

I saw Bang Aksa on the stairs, he walked up to us who were eating at the dinner table, he pulled the chair beside Bang Arsa, Bang Aksa sat right in front of me. Bang Aksa sat down while putting his phone on the dining table.

“You have to make room for yourself, I have to really recover first just to go to school, so please listen to what you said once.”
