US: The Irreconcilable Story
Chapter 36 Consequences

The next morning, when I was about to go to school. I saw Papa in front of the fence, he was standing leaning against his car. I opened the fence, walked past Papa.

“Syan, wait!” Papa called me, asked me to stop stepping.

I didn't heed Papa's words one bit.

“Wait! Papa wants to talk to us for a minute.” Papa grabbed my hand and I was immediately tepis

“I want to go to school.” concluded me, with a flat face mimic.

“Papa anter, we chat in the car only while walking to your school.” Papa stepped up to open his car.

“Thank you, Shana won't sit in Papa's former storage seat.”

Papa approached me, again.

“You can sit in the middle seat, how?”

I held my lips together while smiling.

“No need, Shana can leave alone.”

I reached into my phone that was in the bag, then set the stopwatch.

“10 minutes, Shana kasih Papa ten minutes to say.” I hit start, make stopwatch keep counting time.

“Papa has no intention of having an affair with Elina, everything goes out of Papa's control. In the beginning of our closeness, Papa does not know if you are friends, Papa only knows that fact after Papa has already loved Elina. Papa knows this is wrong, please excuse Papa.”

I threw away my face, adjusted my breath and stared intently at Papa's face.

“Papa know this is wrong? So, why is Papa still going on? No, not this time Papa betrayed us but many times. Was Papa also conscious and thinking of us then?! No right?!” I looked into Papa's eyes that looked sparkling.

Papa glued, silent.

“Mama struggled to rise up against her disappointment alone, to the point that the disappointment could no longer be Mama Rasain. No, not because Mama already sorry Papa but because Mama was too sick to understand the betrayal that Papa loves.”

I glanced at Papa's car, which was parked in front of the fence.

“Mama and her parents have always supported Papa to succeed, Alm. Grandpa even gave his company to be managed by Papa, trusting Papa completely but Papa hurt Mama. Papa thought Alm. Can you excuse me Papa? Nope! I squirm to myself how Grandpa loves Mama and Alm so much. My grandfather never hurt my mother one bit. In a bit, Pa!”

“If Papa still has pride, please leave Grandpa's office. He has the right to rest in peace, I do not want with Papa in his office to make Grandpa even more sorry.” continued me.

“No way, you know for yourself that your mother is her only child. Who will lead the company if Mama leaves the office?” Papa refuses to leave Grandpa's office on the grounds that there will be a vacancy if he leaves the office.

“Mama, Mama herself who will run the company Grandpa.”

“Sarah?” Papa looked surprised as soon as I said that Mama would lead Grandpa's company.

I'm nodding.

“Kan before marriage Papa, Mama who helped Grandpa in the company?” ask me, ask for confirmation from Papa.

Papa agrees that Mama who works hard helps Grandpa in running the business.

“Iya, but kan..”

Papa tried to give various reasons so that he still led Grandpa's company, I asked Papa not to continue his words.

“Oh yes, later if Papa married Elina, please invite us yes. I will buy the most beautiful gift for you and the naburin of flowers on your wedding altar. How?” I smiled at Papa.

Papa didn't answer my question, I know there are many things Papa thinks about me right now, I can feel that from the look in his eyes that seem to pity me.

“One more time, is every married couple always say a marriage promise involving God. I hope Papa does not betray that promise again, because the promise is not only for Papa and Elina but also in the name of the Owner of the Universe. Enough of the humans that Papa betrayed, don't betray Him a second time.”

“Papa don't worry about Shana, Shana can live without Papa. Papa and Elina's affair won't make me lose my mind, but I will make sure you are the ones who will lose your mind by seeing my success and I will make my own happiness without Papa in it.”

My belief in success was evident from the look in my eyes, which looked at Papa confidently and I was sure Papa could see that.

The stopwatch rang, signaling that ten minutes was over.

“Syana departs first.”

“Syana!” squealing Mama, from the doorstep.

Looks like Mama hasn't seen that I'm with Papa.

“Iya, Ma.” I walked to the fence.

Mama came up to me, carrying my black tumbler.

“How the hell can I forget to take a drink.” Mama gave me a tumbler.

“Still, Ma.”

I looked at the direction of Mama's eyes that had just realized Papa's presence.

“Why are you here again?” Mama asked Papa in a tight tone.

Papa didn't answer Mom's question.

“Remember, yes. I can be quiet when you hurt me but if you hurt my children, I will not stay silent.” Mom threatened Papa.

I glanced at Papa at a glance, Papa just bowed.

“Udah, Ma.” I asked my mom to calm herself down.

I grabbed Mama's hand and kissed Mama's.

“Syana, go first yes.”

“Yes, be careful.” Mama stroked my hair as I shook her hand.

I started to step up to go to school, as I walked past Papa, I saw Papa sticking out his hand but I ignored him.

“I will run a new world, starting today.” I murmured, inwardly as I stared at the clear sky this morning.

On the busway, I sat leaning back while closing my eyes with both hands that I folded in front of my chest, trying to dissipate the negative energy that was absorbing into my body.

“Woi!” khenzie's shrill voice pierced my ear cavity, which made me suddenly cover both of my ears.

I saw her for a moment and then closed my eyes again, Khenzie sitting next to me and she looked upset at the indifference I showed her.

“Still in the morning, don't fight.” I said to Khenzie, without looking at Khenzie.

“Mata lo why?” ask Khenzie, curious.

“Not why, I just want to mejemin eye bentar.”

“Not, I mean why do you swollen eyelids cake? Semalem lo abis nangis ya?”

I opened my eyes, glanced at Khenzie for a moment.

“No, earlier abis in wasp bite.” I'm trying to deny.

“Lo think I believe that, not yes!”

“Gue knows how to cry.” Khenzie continued.

“Who said?” I asked, looking seriously at Khenzie's eyes.
