Chapter 7 Stops

I ignored Bang Aksa and walked towards the musholah. After I finished praying, I went back to my room, in my room I saw my phone lit up, I grabbed my phone that was on top of the drawer, she said, I saw my phone apparently there was an incoming call 2 times from khenzie.

" Khenzie why? He doesn't usually call." I muttered, looking at the call history on my phone while sitting on the bedside.

I called Khenzie back for fear of something happening or maybe he wanted to convey an important message because Khenzie doesn't usually call me.

" Khen, why?" ask me, as soon as Khenzie answers my call.

"Your ring isn't there?" ask Khenzie, who made me see my ring finger.

I didn't see the ring that used to be around my ring finger, I panicked when I found out it didn't exist because of Papa's fear of anger, the ring Papa gave me when I turned 17, exactly last year.

" Khen, seriously! "snooch, aghast.

" Your ring was the same as mine, it fell on the floor when you bought ice cream" said Khenzie, who let me breathe a sigh of relief.

" seriously? Thanks, Khen. I could've run out if the ring was gone, Bokap must've been really angry."

I didn't even know that the ring had fallen because Papa's ring was actually a little big on my finger.

" Hello, Khen.. You're still there, right?" I asked Khenzie, who was silent for a long time, who was thinking about what.

" Oh, yes, the same." said Khenzie, after a long silence.

" Dreaming what are you? " i asked, I knew that Khenzie was silent in the middle of the conversation, indicating that he was thinking about something.

" Yes, go home don't wander away, handsome boy." I said, teasing Khenzie.

" Well Mama."

" Ih, what the hell is Mama."

Khenzie laughed when she heard me being uncomfortable with her jokes.

" Yaudah I'll end the call, see you tomorrow." Connect me.

"Yes, bye."

" Bye." Yeah."

I ended my call with Khenzie, put my phone back on top of the drawer and rushed to clean my body. After bathing and changing clothes, I put my body in bed, I took my phone to see if there was any chat from Brooklyn but in fact there was no notification anything that went into my phone except sms operator. I snorted in annoyance while putting my phone back on top of the drawer.

" You guys, don't think about sleeping, do you?" I told myself, staring at the ceiling of my room.

The next morning, on Monday as usual, my house was always busy with their schedules, Papa who left early in the morning because there was business in the office that he could not stay and Bang Aksa who was ready to leave for the hospital while Bang Arsa, who was ready, was going to the hospital, he was still busy in front of his laptop to take care of the weekly financial statements in his cafe.

“ Morning Ma, morning Bang Aksa.” I said to those who are having breakfast, I am ready to go to school.

I had breakfast too, eating bread with strawberry jam and chocolate milk made by Mama. When I finished, I immediately went and said goodbye to Mama to go to school.

“ What is ni?” ask Bang Aksa, astonished.

“ As usual, pocket money.” I replied, smiling as I blinked my eyes.

Bang Aksa sighed then took out her purse that was in her briefcase.

“ Ni.” said Bang Aksa, put 100 thousand in the palm of my hand.

“ Thanks Dearest Brother.” I said, kissing Bang Aksa's cheek.

“ You leave for school by taxi online only .” Said Bang Aksa, who sounded worried.

“ Take a ride busway tofu.” My heart, who's been walking to leave the dining table.

“ But lately crime is born a lot in busway.” Bang Aksa explained why she was worried about me.

“Atau Abang buyin you aja motor, how? What motor do you want, Vespa, Scoopy or what?”Bang Aksa.

“Ih Bang Aksa is joking, Shana is late.” I said, running out of the house while picking up the shoes that were on the shoe rack beside the entrance.

“ Careful!” bang Aksa shouted at me, who was wearing shoes in a hurry.

At the stop, after waiting for almost 2 minutes, finally the busway came, I got on the busway and pulled out the busway card to pay, because I left school along with the office entrance hours so I had no place to sit, I also stood while holding on to the handle grip busway.

My eyes that were staring out of the busway suddenly shifted to look ahead, I just realized that in front of me, there was a woman in her 30s who was standing while holding her stomach, apparently she was pregnant, her stomach was not too big yet but I could see she was exhausted standing, maybe she had been on the busway for quite a while, I also didn't pay much attention to it when I got on the busway.

I approached her, then told a man beside her to give her a seat.

“ Excuse me, this is pregnant. Masnya can stand just no, because pity Mbaknya look tired really standing from earlier.“ I said to a man, who carries a briefcase in his lap.

The man only looked at me for a moment and then turned his face away again, as if he had not heard what I had told him.
