Chapter 29 Back to School

At night, when I was going to sleep. Bang Aksa, Bang Arsa and Mama went into my room one by one.

"Syana's going to sleep." I said to those who simultaneously entered my room.

"Sleep, Bang Aksa will sleep too."

"I am too."

"Mama too."

"In the room, Shana?"

"Yes." Yeah." Answer the three of them, simultaneously.

Mama got into my bed and laid her body beside me, while Bang Aksa and Bang Arsa slept on the red carpet beside my bed.

"How come there's no news of Shana, huh?" ask me, looking at the ceiling.

"Ma, Papa knows if Shana's sick again?" I saw my mother beside me.

"Papa again there's a new project, baby. Later if it's finished with the project, then Mama tell you."

"Why? Is that where ngerepotin? That's why you can't know?" my question, again.

"No, it's not nicotine." Mama hugged me while stroking my hair.

"You don't think of anything, now you better sleep." Mama patted me on the shoulder, asking me to sleep in her arms.

While sleeping, I dreamt of seeing Brooklyn carry scissors in her hands and she pointed them at me, Brooklyn pulled my hair and pushed my body to the ground.

"Please, don't hurt me!" My love for Brooklyn, in my dreams.

"Gue will not hurt you, if you obey all my words."

Brooklyn approached me, he started editing my clothes.

"Don't, not Lyn! No!" I shouted, trying to drive Brooklyn away.

I heard the voice of Bang Aksa.

"Syan, what's wrong with you?"

"Wanna! Why you!"

I woke up to the sound of Bang Aksa screaming anxiously.

"What's wrong with you, Shan?" bang Aksa asked, after I woke up from my dream.

"Myanna.... Shana was Bang's nightmare, Shana squirms Brooklyn wants to twinkle Shana's clothes. Shana's scared." Obviously, my body was sweating when my room AC was on.

"Udah, you calm down. It's all just sleeping flowers." Whisper Mama, in my ear while tidying up my hair that is broken.

One month after that, at school. I have gradually recovered and have not experienced excessive anxiety again, I can already control my emotions.

"Finished class you want to go straight home, Syan?" khenzie asked, as we were having breakfast in the school cafeteria.

"Yes, why?"

"No, I'm curious."

"What the hell? It's not clear you!"

I looked around the cafeteria, looking for someone who hadn't enjoyed our time with us in a long time.

"Lo see Elina, don't you?" I asked Khenzie, who was cutting his grilled sausage.

I turned my lips upwards, glancing at Khenzie who seemed to be unconcerned.

"She's like avoiding me, Elina doesn't want my condition at all. I'm confused, am I wrong with him?" I asked Khenzie, I was confused by Elina's very visible change.

"Lo's not wrong, maybe he avoided because he was ashamed of you." Khenzie answered my question, with a flat facial expression.

"Thy? Why?" khenzie's words intrigued me.

Khenzie just shrugged both of his shoulders, which I concluded that Khenzie was just talking.

“Gue to class first, yes.” I get out of the chair.

“Please payin.” I took 20 grand out of my shirt pocket and put it near Khenzie.

“No, pay for yourself!”  cry Khenzie to me who has passed.

“Still, Khen. Return take aja, yes.”

“Return, change... Less than five thousand of these, woi!” peek Khenzie, pissed.

In class, I saw Elina chatting with Diego and Hamid, they looked very close. I approached them and wanted to talk to Elina.

“El, can you chat please?” I asked Elina, who was laughing at Diego's joke.

Elina suddenly looked at me with a flat face, so in contrast to the expression she showed Diego and Hamid, I had no idea that one's expression could change so quickly.

“Gue busy.” Elina answered my question tightly.

“Just a minute, El.”

I wasn't done talking yet, Khenzie immediately pulled my hand and made me sit in my chair.

“Lo why the hell? I want to talk to Elina.” I snapped at Khenzie, who was sitting in front of me.

“Gue to toilet first, yes.” Elina told Diego and Hamid.

Elina glanced at me with a sharp glare, as if she hated me.

“Lo see for yourself, she hates elo Arsyana!”

I looked at Khenzie.

“Kalo it's true, I have to know the reason.”

I ran to teach Elina, the third-floor toilet is indeed quite close from my class. I waited in the sink while tidying up my hair.

“El.” I immediately called out to Elina, as soon as I saw her face from the glass.

Elina ignored me, washing her hands in the sink next to me.

“El, lo why the hell?” I asked, while looking at Elina who was tidying her hair.

Elina did not look at me at all, as if she had not heard every question I asked her.

“El, answer me! This past month you have kept me away. ” I hold Elina's arm.

Elina finally saw me, she smiled faintly with a flat facial expression.

“Lo want to know the answer?” Elina looked me in the eye.

“Gue hate elo.” Elina took off my hand that was holding her arm, then made her face approach my face. Elina's eyes look red, she sees every side of my face.

Elina pulled my arm, made me stand in front of the mirror before her, Elina directed my face to face the mirror in front of her. Elina's right hand gripped my arm very firmly, then her left hand grabbed my chin.

“Gue hate this face, I hate elo!” squealed Elina, in my ear. Elina's face turned red, she looked very angry even though I didn't know what caused her anger.

“Gue hate elo, Arsyana!” Elina pushed my body, almost falling on the floor.

Elina was about to leave the toilet.

“You know me what the reason is?” I asked Elina, who was going through the toilet door.

Elina did not answer my question, she did not even look back.

“Why the hell, El? Why are you like this now?” I murmured in my heart.

At home, when the time has shown at 14:45. From the outside, I heard Mama calling my name.

“Syan.” My mother called me, knocking on my door.

I got out of bed and opened the door for my mom.

“Under Khenzie, he said he would like to see you.” Mama said, as soon as I saw my face.

“Tell me Shana is not at home yes, Ma.”

“Mama, I told you already if you were at home. How's dong?”

I let out a breath.

“Oudah, yes. Shana down.” I closed the door to my room, then went downstairs with Mama.
