USTADZ

USTADZ
21. Toxic

Syahla has found it very difficult lately to meet Anne. There is always a reason that makes Syahla inevitably have to sigh disappointed.

"Sorry La, I'm nugas again."

"Gue outside La,"

"Can't you just not chat I keep? I have a class again,"

And there are many other reasons. Syahla was of course confused herself. Three days passed without any progress on his article. Should he call Rama?

"Don't, don't" Syahla shook her head. He did not want to be considered a spoiled junior who had always depended on his seniors. All right, he'll try to solve it himself.

As a result of the decision, within a week Syahla almost never took his eyes off his laptop. At every opportunity, he will try to finish the article.

"His task isn't finished yet?" this is the question of Anggika to 83561-time, because every time I meet Syahla there is always a laptop between them. "Yes yesterday, it was a presentation. You actually know what, anyway?"

"I'm writing an article again, time has passed, just a few more days."

"Article? Emang matkul what do you love the task of making articles?" Suppose wondering.

"No, it's Persma's job. We'll soon be printing this month's college magazine,"

"Oh.pants. Do you work alone?"

Syahla licked her lips. "Something was supposed to help, but he was busy. I don't feel good if I interrupt her,"

"Yes, you ask for someone to change, La."

"The others also have their own busy lives, and I was immediately appointed as the chairman for this design, so it's not good to rummage about the others."

Anggika exhaled a long breath.

"Jaudah, while eating," he said, feeding a loaf of bread to Shahla.

"Thank you, pretty Anggika," Syahla chewed her bread gladly.

Not only Anggika who felt surprised to see the bustle of Syahla that exceeded the lecturer, but Ustadz Amar as well. Every time she got home, the first thing she did was to check her laptop. Ustadz Amar did not mind his laptop used by Syahla every day. Only, isn't the use too excessive huh?

"What's going on?" asked Ustadz Amar as he approached Syahla in the living room. He put a cup of hot chocolate on the table. Syahla just took a quick look and refocused on her laptop screen again.

"There is an article assignment," replied Syahla briefly.

"Matkul what? Whose lecturer?"

"Not from Persma."

Ustadz Amar frowned. What is the task of the organization that can make people as busy as it is?

"May I help you?" Ustadz Amar offered himself. Hearing that, Shahla's eyes immediately sparkled.

"Can, can! My husband reads magazines, right? Check out my writing,"

Syahla then exposes the screen of his laptop on Ustadz Amar. Ustadz Amar read Syahla's three-page article.

"Hm.. The sentence in this paragraph is less effective, it should be this way.. There's a typo here.. This article has been able to answer all the interview questions yet?"

Shahla looked at her husband in amazement. Actually, the ability of multitalent Ustadz Amar can not be doubted. But isn't this too perfect?

That night, Syahla and Ustadz Amar finally stayed up late to complete the Syahla article task.

...----------------...

Syahla steps her legs happily towards the Persma room. Everyone seems to be gathering and have their own activities. He abandoned his intention to say hello for fear of interrupting. Finally, the girl chose to go directly to Sister Anne who was chatting with Kak Hasan.

"Sister, this is the article file," said Syahla held out a flash.

"Lo sure it's done?" Sister Anne's voice sounded faint.

"Already Brother," Shahla nodded her head. "Sister Anne can check herself if you don't believe her. Uh but, I'm not sure if it's really good yet. Let's ask Anne for a correction, shall we?"

Sister Anne received the flash with a flat look. "OKAY. Haven't you? You can go back,"

Shahla looked at the people around the room who seemed busy with their work. Campus magazine printing just counts the days, so it's natural that it's busy now.

"I'd like to help you out here, sister,"

"What do you want to help?" Anne did not show a friendly face at all. "Lo is new, don't worry. No need to bother Rama likes Lo, so Lo can just as easily here."

"Where's Brother?" Shahla scrunched her forehead confused. "I really don't know what it means. But, I'm the same Brother Rama—"

"Sister Rama, Brother Rama, Brother Rama. He knows Rama best."

"What do you mean, brother?"

"Dek Lala," A senior woman approached Syahla with a displeased face. "If it's new, don't worry. Do you know that Anne is almost the same as Rama?"

Syahla shook her head. "I don't know Sis, but I really have nothing to do with Rama,"

"It's usually the plain pretentious like this is really rotten," said another senior woman.

"So Brother, you can ask Kak Rama directly! Or let me call now?"

"Why? Ngadu? Rama is busy. Don't look for attention,"

"How can I prove that your accusation is wrong?"

"Udah, no," Hasan rubbed Sister Anne's back to calm down. "Don't be like a new kid, pity."

"Why? Are you interested in this girl too? You want to be with her?" spray Sister Anne.

"Kok Lo, what the hell, An? I just don't want our organization to be destroyed just because of a small problem,"

"Little problem Lo said? Hey, I've been pedecate with Rama for almost a year! And this chick wants to call Rama from I'm it, San!" Anne's tears spread. "Lo have the same heart as me?"

Hasan hugged Anne as she pleased. Then he signaled Shahla to come out. Without waiting for long, Shahla immediately stepped out of the cursed room.

...----------------...

"For what?" Anggika glared at hearing Syahla's story. "They're rich? After what you've been doing all this time?"

Shahla lowered her head. "It's my fault I'm not. I'm not as sensitive as her feelings Anne, to the point of making her hurt."

"Oh, dear.. It's not Lo's fault. How do you know if the girls like the Rama. So, not yet, have dared to run over people. Pantesan was hanged for a year,"

Shahla breathed a heavy breath. "How should I try?"

"Lo says the same to Rama. Being a senior is really important. Report it!"

"But.." Shahla said hesitantly. "I don't want this organization to be destroyed just because I don't,"

"Keep this quiet?"

Shahla seemed to think. "At least, until the magazine comes out."

"If my advice anyway, minglingan Lo out just yeah. Not really, toxic abis!"

Syahla. It's not that he didn't consider Anggika's suggestion at all. Only, he still hopes that the misunderstanding can be resolved and Sister Anne again familiar with it. He will wait patiently until the magazine is published. Hopefully over the next few days, Sister Anne's anger has subsided. Hope so.
