USTADZ

USTADZ
9. Move to Apartment

Syahla slipped into the room and breathed a sigh of relief when she found Ustadz Amar was already sound asleep. Ustadz Amar was on the right side of the bed, with his back.

Shahla then set her breath and moved up the mattress slowly. As much as possible to minimize the sound he makes.

Anyway, I'm not going to sleep tonight! His determination in the heart. Just beware that Ustadz Amar to all sorts!

At first it was. Unfortunately, when he opened his eyes, Syahla saw the wall clock was already showing at five and a quarter in the morning. Syahla. Since when did he sleep? He turned to his side and there was no Ustadz Amar there.

Syahla then looked all over the bed and was stunned when she saw the bolster pillow that was originally in the middle had been thrown far to the floor.

"Well!" Syahla hurriedly checked her clothes, whether they were still intact or not. But it seems everything is still the same as before. The hijab on his head is also still attached, even though his hair has been sticking out everywhere.

Hurriedly, Syahla rushed to the bathroom for ablution and performed dawn prayers.

...----------------...

In the boarding hall, Abah Baharuddin was chatting with Gus Sahil and Ustadz Amar. After performing the morning prayers imamed Ustadz Amar, they began to talk about the program of teaching the students.

"Loh, Nduk Syahla where's Le? How not to join the congregation?" Umi Zahra appears with Hafsa, just finished the Quran.

"Oh, just told me that I was tired, Mi. So I said no need to join the congregation alone," replied Ustadz Amar.

"Duh, that kid is still spoiled anyway. Gotta teach me a lesson!"

"Don't Mi!" prevent Hafsa. "Leave it first. The show also finished at night. Kasian Dek Syahla,"

Ustadz Amar smiled clumsily listening to their conversation. Actually, Ustadz Amar's answer to Umi Zahra just lied. Ustadz Amar never woke Syahla that morning. His reason? It was because he was confused!

How not to be confused try, if when opening your eyes in the morning, suddenly there is a woman who hugs him? Ustadz Amar was in shock for a moment then, then when he saw the one who hugged him was Syahla, he was even more shocked.

The problem is, where did the bolster pillow that became their barrier? It felt like Ustadz Amar was still sleeping in the same position, on the right side of the bed, clinging to the wall. So, why does it get like this?

His wife's embrace felt tight, as if she was a roll that was cuddly. Ustadz Amar was eager to capture the moment, then showed it to Shahla as she woke up. But soon he broke that intention because he did not want to be more hostile to his own wife. So, carefully, Ustadz Amar attempted to break away from the eight girls.

After seeing clearly how poor Syahla's sleeping position transversed, Ustadz Amar came to understand. Shahla must have accidentally kicked the roll down and considered herself a bolster.

"Danger," Ustadz Amar sizzled as he saw Syahla's legs lying on the bed. Making springbed with king size was full. With a gentle gesture, Ustadz Amar enveloped his little wife until she closed her neck. After that, he hurriedly came out for ablution and performed dawn prayers. Trying to remove the beautiful shadows when he was embraced by Syahla.

Back to this moment, when Ustadz Amar chatted with his father-in-law and brother-in-law. The chat of the three of them has been very connected even though Ustadz Amar has only become a son-in-law one day, because since Syahla was still lodged in Al-Raudhah first, Ustadz Amar has often chatted with Gus Sahil via phone.

"It's lucky that our son-in-law is Ustadz Amar. Be smart, sholeh, educated,"

"No Bah" Ustadz Amar shook his head in response to the in-laws' words. "I'm the lucky one to have been accepted into this great family,"

Ustadz Amar smiled. In addition to Papa and his mother in the village, Ustadz Amar also has Abah Ridwan who he considers his own father. Although sometimes Abah Ridwan is too excessive when praising him. But secretly she was grateful because the praise could add a plus in the eyes of her in-laws.

When he returned to the room, Ustadz Amar was shocked because Syahla was sitting there waiting. It seems like there is something important he wants to say. Seeing Syahla, Ustadz Amar remembered the incident earlier. He looked away, ashamed of himself.

"Ustadz," call Syahla open the conversation. "Tomorrow, we should've been in Jakarta. I have a task from an unfinished teacher. I'm afraid I'll get a D,"

Ustadz Amar nodded his head. "alright. We leave tomorrow. My leave is over anyway. We'll say goodbye to Abah and Umi later,"

Syahla's eyes sparkled at Ustadz Amar's statement. "Seriously we're leaving tomorrow?"

"Yes" Ustadz Amar nodded his head.

"Yes!" Unknowingly, Syahla jumped up and down in excitement. However, after realizing that there was Ustadz Amar in front of him, he immediately became calm again, then quickly walked out of the room.

...----------------...

"Be careful, Nduk, don't stay away from your husband. Let your husband take you everywhere,"

"Ready Umi," Syahla answered the mother's words with a big smile. So worried, the advice was repeated until Syahla got tired of hearing it himself. But Syahla does not matter as long as it is not prohibited to study in Jakarta.

After the farewell, Syahla and Ustadz Amar went to the airport with Gus Sahil. They chose the air route because they wanted to get there faster.

Arriving in Jakarta, Syahla was shocked because Ustadz Amar did not take him back to his boarding houses first, but instead to an apartment building.

"This is your room" Ustadz Amar opened the door of a room. "The stuff from the boarding has been moved all over here. But maybe the arrangement does not suit your taste. So you can tidy it up yourself,"

Syahla entered her room-to-be with eyes looking around the room. "Is it serious we're staying here?"

"Why?" Ustadz Amar frowned in wonder. "You don't like it?"

"Eh, it's not," Shahla waved her hand. "It just seems like this apartment is huge. Is monthly rent not expensive?"

Ustadz Amar laughed out loud at the wife's innocent question. "Why pay the rent when it's purchased?"

"Buy?" Shahla covered her mouth with both hands. "Ustadz Amar bought this apartment?"

"Yes," Ustadz Amar walked up to Shahla. "Why? You think I'm not capable? If you want, I can still pay for a hotel room for our honeymoon, too,"

A honeymoon? Syahla. He then used both palms to push Ustadz Amar out. "Ustad! Don't fuck around! Remember the first point!"

After Ustadz Amar was outside the room, Shahla closed the door.
