The machete floated just above Prince Alaric and stuck it in the body of a large bear that was almost pouncing on him. Alaric was really surprised, because he had thought Xena threw the machete to hurt him, but he actually saved him from death.

"Why are you smiling like that?. Didn't you realize you were almost the bear's meal?.You fool!! Umpat Xena doesn't like to see Alaric smile. He then went away from the river to get the machete that stuck in the bear's body and intended to go home, and Alaric rushed to follow him.

"Why are you so smart?." Alaric asked, Xena turned her head without stopping her steps and without answering the question Alaric was asking.

"Why are you.I mean thank you for saving me from that bear. Why did you know that the bear was behind me?." Alaric asked, but Xena did not answer him.

"How dare you.!! Hardik angered Xena while brushed off Alaric's hand.

"I'm sorry!! I don't mean to be rude. I'm just amazed by what you did earlier. You're really great, being able to tell where the bear is, when you and the bear are far enough away, even the closer I don't know." Alaric.

"I'm smart, not stupid like you." Xena then moved her legs back quickly.

"I'm so grateful Xena!! You saved my life." Alaric said, Xena did not answer. Alaric kept asking Xena to talk even though Xena didn't care about it. He kept walking while occasionally looking back, staring at him, panted to hear him just keep talking.

"That's enough!! Don't talk and don't follow me." Xena was upset.

"I'll take you home." Alaric.

"no need. I can go home by myself." Reply Xena.

"I just want to make sure you're safe getting home." Alaric.

"What did you say?." Xena asked then she laughed as if mocking him. "What you have to make sure is your own safety, there is no need to bother ensuring my safety. Just take care of yourself you can't, let alone take care of others." Xena said with a slanted smile, then stepped back on her feet, and this time Alaric did not chase after her.

"You're right. I am a fool, so I must always be close to you, so that I can avoid danger. Thank you, baby, for saving me. I know you really love me. You are my lover whom I love the most." Alaric shouted a little. Xena turned her head towards him. His eyes glared sharply at the dislike of hearing what Prince Alaric had just said.

Prince Alaric himself commented on his sweet smile seeing Xena's annoyed face at that time. He loved teasing that beautiful-eyed lady.

"Don't call me that, if you don't want me to pluck your tongue out." Ketus Xena with her upset face, then left Alaric.

Prince Alaric knew Conrad and his men were near the trees, and it looked like they were waiting for him. He then approached the tape

"Is there any important news uncle?." Ask.

Prince Alaric was silent. He did not want to leave the village before he could prove that Xena was really the knight who helped him.
