17. A rival?

Xena wanted to get away from the bunker, because Aiden would sleep for a long time, but she could not bear to leave him alone. Finally, he kept silent and occasionally turned his gaze to Aiden who was lying down. The more he looked at it, the more he realized that Aiden was very handsome.

The perfect face, with firm jaws, sharp nose, red lips and taper chin makes Aiden look so handsome. The mustache, sideburns and beard growing on his face did not reduce his good looks in the least.

Oh, my God, what am I thinking?. Why should I look at her?. muttered Xena inwardly and then she moved from there, towards the secret room in the bunker.

The room was a place to store all valuables belonging to his father, Hector, as well as other valuables, belonging to Abraham's grandfather and Yacob's uncle. There were many weapons, armor, shields and some gold bars as well as jewelry belonging to his late mother that was stored there. Xena took one necklace that belonged to her late mother, then took it on.

She smiled at the reflection of herself in the small mirror that was on the bunker wall. "It's so pretty." Xena muttered while holding the necklace.

"Xena!! And xena!! Call someone, make him flinch.

"Aiden?.Why is he awake?." He muttered, then immediately walked out of the room, for fear that Aiden might find him.

"Why are you awake?." Xena asked, as she returned to the room where Aiden was.

"I was having a nightmare." Answer Aiden.

"You better get some sleep. To make your condition completely recover." Decree Xena.

"I'm already okay. I've recovered." Aiden Sahut.

"Are you sure?." Ask Xena to make sure.

"Yes. You see for yourself I'm very healthy." Answer Aiden.

"If so, we go home now." Take Xena.

Aiden was silent, regretting that he was healthy. He still wants to be with Xena in that bunker.

"Why silence?. Don't you want to go home now?." Xena asked, making Aiden surprised because Aiden felt Xena knew what she was thinking.

"It's better we don't go back now. Your condition has not completely recovered. Just rest here." Xena's words make Aiden happy.

"Now lie down and rest again." Tell Xena, and Aiden will. In his heart he felt very happy because he could be alone again with Xena. Especially now that Xena's attitude was very different, not as ketus as before.

Later that afternoon Conrad and several other bodyguards, as well as another great general, on the king's orders, returned to the village to capture Dimitri and his men. They set out at dawn and arrived at the village when the sun had risen.

Dimitri was shocked when the royal officers seized him and took him by force. The same thing happened when the royal officers captured his men. Surprise belongs not only to Dimitri and his men, but also to Prince Alaric who was still there at the time.

He didn't expect Conrad to come that fast, and he almost saw it. It was fortunate that Prince Alaric immediately went into hiding, otherwise Conrad would have seen him.

It was the items and clothes of Prince Alaric that he used during his disguise.

Conrad was convinced that the man he saw was really his prince. But how is it possible.

Is it possible, he secretly went alone to this village?. Conrad asked in his heart.

Conrad who was smart and curious, did not give up just like that. He wanted to prove his suspicions. He ran after the puff of smoke coming out from the ceiling of the place, because he thought it was a strange thing. There was no fire there, and then where did the smoke come from. And yes, he saw it. From a distance Conrad saw the puff of smoke turn into a male figure that he believed was his prince. Where possible?. He murmured in his heart.

Conrad thought hard how could the prince turn into smoke?.Then he remembered something. He remembered the witch, Gwendolyn. He remembers the witch once saying that she would come if Alaric called her, and that Alaric might have called her, Conrad thought.

To further convince him, Conrad went to Xena's house. Arriving at the house he met Xena and immediately asked what she wanted to know.

"Who are you why are you asking Aiden?." Xena answered Conrad's question with her question. His face looks sour and his tone is also very sharp, because Xena knows Conrad is a Zephyrus.

"I'm Conrad. I'm..."

"I know, you're a Zephyrus soldier." Ketus Xena's.

"What's up, Xena?. Who's coming?. Why are you screaming?." Audrey asked who suddenly came out from inside the house, after hearing Xena's voice. He was stunned, when he saw a well-built man complete with his great clothes standing in front of his house. Audrey's smile expanded because she knew the man was a general from the kingdom.

His smile grew wider as he knew the man's arrival was to inquire about Aiden's whereabouts. Audrey was sure that this man was the friend Aiden meant to help her get inside the palace.
