20. I've felt it before

Audrey held onto her cheek which was sore and hot from the slap of the butler earlier. It felt like he was eager to reply to the woman, but he held it because it was all for nothing, he would not win.

"Don't look like you have a pretty face, you can be big and want to be. Remember!! Here you're just a waitress. Did you hear that?.You're just a waitress. I can easily get you out right now. So don't do much in front of me. Understood?." Sergey's butler named Kalla.

Not looking for trouble, Audrey obeyed everything the butler said, though in her heart she continued to grumble and curse at the butler. Audrey knew what the butler was doing was indeed a rule they had to abide by, and it was one form of education that she or anyone had to go through to become a palace maid.

After Audrey's death, Abraham's grandfather and Gloria's grandmother were very sad. He didn't really want her to leave, but he couldn't keep her from leaving either. Abraham's grandfather was very worried about his grandson. He was afraid that his son's enemies, Hector was still looking for them. Grandpa Abraham hoped Audrey would not tell him who she was to the man in the palace. Because he knew, not everyone in the palace was completely loyal to their king. "What did you think?." Ask Xena.

"Grandfather don't lie to me. I know Grandpa must be thinking about Audrey, right?." Ask Xena. "Grandfather calm down. He'll be fine. And grandpa don't worry, because stroby's always watching him. If there's anything, he'll definitely tell us, and I'll definitely help him." Xena calms the grandfather.

"You're a good boy Xena. You're so different from your sister." Grandpa Abraham.

Xena simply replied with her smile.

Aiden arrives and asks Abraham's grandfather for permission to take Xena away. He took Xena into the forest, because he saw something strange there. Like Xena's thing, Aiden also saw that light. The light that came out from near the lake in the forest, led Aiden to approach the lake.

Aiden immediately showed what he saw to Xena. Xena choked when she saw a large chain at the end of the lake. The chain was really big and sparkling like a crystal. Alaric looked for the end of the chain, and it seemed to be at the bottom of the lake.

"What's gonna do?." Xena asked as she watched Aiden take off her shoes.

"I'll dive in, and look for the end of that chain." The answer.

"What did you do it for?. We better get out of here. Don't forget we're in the middle of the woods right now."

"Where might I forget. You don't fear Xena, I just want to make sure what's in there."

"No!! Don't do that. Are you crazy?. Don't you know that in this forest there are creepy creatures that could threaten your life."

"Are you worried about me, Xena?." Ask Aiden with a smile.

"Whatever you think. I obviously don't want you to do what you said. So come!! We're getting out of here." Take Xena.

"I'll leave if you say you're worried about me." Reply Aiden

"Don't mess around." Xena

"I'm not kidding." Aiden said he threw himself into the lake, dived into the lake, looking for where the end of the chain was. Unexpectedly, Xena also joined her, diving into the lake, following Aiden. They continued to dive to the bottom of the lake, and found the end of the chain. Aiden wants to let go but he's having trouble. He tried again, but it still didn't work.

They entered, and the door closed by itself. It was very dark at the time, but they knew they were not in the lake at the moment. Aiden and Xena stepped forward, as they saw a speck of light there, out of nowhere the light came from.

The darkness they passed through slowly disappeared, as they were close to the origin of the light. And both of them were stunned to see the beauty that was in front of them at this moment. Aiden and Xena looked at the green trees and grass, as well as the colorful flowers. Many butterflies fly, also a small river whose water flows very clear. Everything is so beautiful and cool to look at, like in a fairyland.

"Wawww..beautiful." Xena muttered, as she moved her feet closer to the beautiful flowers. She smiled sweetly while holding a flower and smelling the fragrance of the flower.

"Do you know where we are?." Ask Aiden.

"I don't know. I am also the first time I have been to this place. And I didn't know there was such a beautiful place under that lake." Xena answered and plucked a red rose that had stolen her attention. A moment later, the smile on Xena's face faded, as she recalled it was possible that they were currently in another land or dimension. Where there might be life like this under the lake. It feels impossible, Xena thought.

"Are we not in another world?." Xena said guessing.

"Other nature?. Mean you?."

"Have you ever heard that in this forest there's a terrible creature that will never let anyone out safely from the forest. Is it possible that we've fallen into that creature's trap by now, and we won't return?." Ask Xena

"Cannot be. It feels very impossible. I'm not sure of the existence of the creature you said you were. If that thing really existed, it would've killed us." Answer Alaric.

"I don't believe it either. During my stay here, I've been in this forest a lot, and even though I've never met that thing." Xena Sahut

Aiden and Xena continued their steps along the beautiful place, and now they were in a place overgrown with apple trees and grapes. He picked a red apple and gave it to Xena with a smile. Xena returned Aiden's smile as she received the apple.

"Eat!! Tell Aiden.

"You didn't poison these apples, did you?." Canda Xena who was met with a faint smile by Aiden.

"Well, I'll eat it first." Aiden said, making Xena laugh, making Aiden feel anxious. Unexpectedly Aiden pulled Xena's slender waist, tightening Xena's body into her body, making her flinch and instantly stare at her.

They stared at each other, with different expressions. Aiden looked at Xena with his sweet smile, while Xena, he looked still very surprised, but not a single bit Xena thought of releasing herself from Aiden's embrace.

"You're so pretty, Xena." Aiden praised Xena. Xena silently stared at Aiden's beautiful blue-colored bead eyes that she liked so much.

"I love you Xena. Do you love me too?." Aiden asked, and Xena did not answer.

Xena's hand moved caressing the face as well as those beautiful eyes. Xena's hands slowly descended caressing Aiden's nose and sideburns. For a moment Aiden let in and enjoyed the touch of Xena's hand on her face. But suddenly, he immediately released Xena's hand from there, for fear that Xena knew that the sideburn was not the real sideburn.
