Xena

Xena
13. Two people fascinated

"Is uncle sure?." Alaric asked with sparkling eyes.

"Hamba sure prince. Although I can't prove it straight away, but from what I heard and saw, it looks like Miss Xena is indeed the knight."

"Did uncle say all this to get me back to the palace?."

"No prince. All this time I've been watching Miss Xena's movements as you ordered. That night the servant saw him out carrying his horse, and into the forest area. When I got to the forest, I saw something strange happening."

"What weird is uncle?."

"The black horse that Miss Xena was riding turned into a white horse that looked very tough."

"Is that really uncle?."

"real prince. Miss Xena and the horse walked towards a lake, and the servant continued to follow her. But suddenly someone got in the way and started attacking. The servant chose to leave from there. The man chased and asked who the servant was. And from her voice, I'm sure it's the voice of her uncle, Miss Xena." Conrad.

"I mean uncle, that guy's uncle Yacob?."

"Yes, prince, it seems like it's him."

Alaric looked very serious listening to what Conrad said. After hearing Conrad's story, Alaric was completely convinced Xena was indeed the knight. His smile expands with pleasure.

"Did you know why Xena hates me so much?." Ask Alaric

"If that servant can't know it yet." Answer Conrad.

...

After hearing the information from Conrad, Prince Alaric wanted to confirm everything himself. Unbeknownst to Conrad, he enlists the help of the witch Gwendolyn to help him break into Xena's house.

After promising to pay her a great price, the witch was willing to do what the prince wanted. He recites the mantra and asks Alaric to follow him to recite the spell. Moments later, the prince and the witch turned into a puff of smoke and flew towards Xena's house.

The smoke entered the house and in the blink of an eye they changed back to their original form.

Alaric gasped when he saw Gloria's grandmother and Abraham's grandfather in the same room where he and the witch were standing.

"Don't be afraid of young people. They won't see us." Said the witch.

"really?." Tanya Alaric made sure.

"If you don't believe you can try. Now come closer to them, and see if they can see you?." Said the witch.

Alaric stepped closer to Gloria's grandmother and Abraham's grandfather, and sure enough they did not see or hear her voice, even though Alaric shouted with all his might to call out their names.

Prince Alaric turned his head towards Gwendolyn who was laughing. "You see for yourself, young man." Gwendolyn

Alaric smiled as he walked towards her. "It turns out you were really great. I'm so impressed by your greatness." Alaric praised the witch.

The sound of someone's footsteps made the prince and the witch look at him. It turned out that Xena was the one who came to his grandparents. He walked past the stunned Prince Alaric looking at Xena who looked so beautiful that night.

"Grandpa and grandma why haven't you slept?." Ask.

"We'll sleep soon. Why aren't you sleeping?." Answer and ask Abraham's grandfather.

Xena did not answer her grandfather's question, as she felt something strange nearby. Right now, he felt as if someone was standing nearby. Xena turned her head to the left, feeling that someone was there, but she wasn't. There was no one there but the three of them.

Xena did not know that Prince Alaric was currently standing near him at a very close distance. She smelled the fragrant scent of Xena's hair, making Xena feel her breath, but Xena thought maybe it was just the wind.

"Xena!!. Grandpa Abraham shouted as he shook his grandson's arm slowly.

"Ehh.iya cake, sorry!!

"What's wrong?. You daydreaming?." Ask Abraham's grandfather.

"No cake." Answer Xena quickly.

"Grandfather asks why you haven't slept?."

"Ohh yeah it's cake, I'm going to the bunker for a second." Answer Xena.

"Nights like this?."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why not tomorrow?."

"Suddenly I thought of my father. So I want to go there now. Because if I were there, I'd be with you." Xena.

"Go then." Grandpa Abraham said.

Xena was happy because her grandparents let her go.

"Be careful." Grandma Gloria.

"Yes my grandma." Reply Xena while walking near the fireplace. He turned his head towards where he was standing earlier, because in Xena's heart felt like there was someone there.

Maybe it's just my feeling. He murmured inwardly, then entered the hearth with a bow because the height of the hearth was probably only one meter.

Prince Alaric who saw all that was very surprised. He hurriedly approached the fireplace, then went in there, followed by Gwendolyn.

"Where are you going, young man?." Ask Gwendolyn.

"I'll follow the girl, and you'll have to come with me." Alaric.

"But ..."

"You don't worry, I'll pay you more." Alaric.

"That's not what I meant. You can follow the girl, but you can't peek at her while she's showering or undressing. Because if that's what you do, he'll see you right away." Gwendolyn.

"Just calm. I couldn't have done it. I just want to know where the girl went." Alaric.

Alaric was shocked to see a door behind the fireplace. He opened the door and there was a long hallway underground. He walked quickly through the passageway, until he finally came to the end of the passage that had two different directions. Alaric decided to walk to the right. And it turns out that the road is heading out of the village. Alaric believes Xena can't get there. He turned around, and went in the other direction, and at the other end he saw an iron door. Alaric was sure it was the entrance to the bunker that Xena was referring to, and he was right, this was indeed a bunker.

Alaric set his foot back down the bunker, looking for Xena. He was no stranger to the bunker. He felt he had come here before. Room after room inside the bunker he had entered but he did not find Xena. Other than not finding Xena the prince of Alaric also could not find another door to get out of that bunker. He wanted to ask Gwendolyn, but apparently Gwendolyn was gone.

The curious Prince Alaric continued to look for where the exit was, until his hand accidentally touched a royal emblem, which was very similar to his royal insignia. The emblem is attached to the wall of the bunker. Suddenly the wall shifted like a door that allowed him to see another room there. Prince Alaric was surprised and amazed because he did not think the wall was a door.

Prince Alaric immediately entered the room, walking to find Xena's whereabouts. The more he walked through the room, the more convinced he was that he had come here.

Oh my God, this is the bunker. Alaric said in his heart. And he was right, this is the bunker, the same bunker he saved the knight. He smiled happily at that moment. Xena turned out to be really the knight who had saved her life.

The door in the fireplace in Abraham's grandfather's house turned out to be the road to the bunker and also the way out to the outside of the village. It was only fitting that Xena brought flour bread that was still warm as it had just been made, apparently Xena brought the bread from home through a secret path. Prince Alaric is increasingly convinced that Xena and her family are not random people, and she must uncover who they really are as well as the reason why Xena hates him so much.
