16. Headed to the top

There was no other choice for Xena, other than to bring Aiden into the bunker. Because if he brought her home, it would take a lot of time. He was worried for Aiden's safety, moreover he knew the type of snake that bit him was a highly venomous snake.

Aiden was laid on that couch again. Xena gives him a drink, then he makes a traditional potion to treat the bite wound on Aiden's hand that starts to turn blue and swollen. In addition, Xena also made a potion that can remove the snake can from Aiden's body.

Xena tells Abraham's grandfather through her pet bird, and his grandfather understands that Xena is currently in the bunker.

Xena drank and applied the medicinal herbs she made on Aiden who started to feel dizzy and looked weak, making Xena even more worried. Although he tried to remain calm and sure that Aiden would be fine, the fear was still felt. He was afraid that Aiden could not be helped, especially when Aiden looked hard to breathe, but his heart rate increased, and his vision was impaired.

His body was hot and sweat a lot, besides he was also vomiting, then he was unconscious. Xena's a little panicked. "Don't worry son, it's the medicinal effect of the potion you gave just now. Right now the drug is working to neutralize the poison in his body." It was clearly Abraham's grandfather who came to the bunker through a secret passage. He came to bring medicine and food for Aiden and his granddaughter, and he returned home.

Out of curiosity, one of the healers slashed the prince's hand with his knife. His eyes were round, for there was no blood dripping or coming out of the incision. Like slashing the body of a puppet, that was how the healer felt.

The three healers looked at each other, as if saying the same thing.

"How is my son?." The king asked the three physicians. They looked at each other again, confused as to what answer he would say to the king.

"I asked how my son is doing, why are you quiet?." Sergei the king, made the three healers even more afraid.

"Looks like the prince in the noble snake bite?." Answer one of the doctors. Because from the symptoms he saw, the prince was like a person who had just been bitten by a snake

"What's?. The snakes?. Where there might be snakes in the palace." King sergeant.

"Are you sure?." Ask King.

The physician applied the herbs they made, though they themselves were unsure of what they were doing. They pray in each other's hearts that the prince will quickly come to his senses and recover, because otherwise the lives of the three healers will be at stake. And fortunately, a few moments later the prince regained his senses, making everything there could breathe a sigh of relief, especially the three healers.

They re-examined the prince, and the result remained the same, they did not feel the pulse and heartbeat of the prince's body. Moreover, there was no blood flowing in his body, making the three healers bewildered. Even so they still make medicine and ask the waiter to bring food that can make the state of the prince quickly recovered.

"What happened to our prince?." Asked one of the healers earlier, when they arrived at the special room for the palace healers.

"I don't know either. Case like this, I just found it."Another healer.

"Is it possible that our prince was exposed to witchcraft?." Ask the third doctor.

"Maybe."

A moment later, Aiden's condition seemed to improve. His breathing returned to normal and the swelling in his hands was reduced. Xena was relieved.

"Don't wake up. You need to rest a lot." Xena said when she saw Aiden about to wake up.

"Drink!! You must be thirsty." Xena said while giving a cup of water to him.

Aiden stared at the cup that Xena was holding.

"I'm asking you to drink, not stare at this cup." Xena said, making Aiden slightly jerked. He took the cup and drank the water. In his heart he was eager to ask where Xena could get this cup from. Because not just anyone can get the cup.

The cup was made of gold and according to Aiden the cup was exactly the same as the cup he had in his kingdom. And it is true, the cup is indeed the same as the cup in the kingdom of Zephyra, because there is a royal symbol under the cup.

Where did Xena get this cup?. Did he steal it?. I don't think that's possible. Who exactly are you Xena?. I'm getting curious about your origins. I'm sure you and your family aren't ordinary people. Alaric murmured in the heart.

Aiden was right, not just anyone could have the cup, because it was only given to special people, whom the king chose as a token of merit to those people. And the cup was the cup that the king gave to Hector, Xena's father. Not only the cup, there were still many other items the king had given Hector, and Xena had deliberately kept them all in the bunker, so that no one would know about it.

"Invading?. I'm not insinuating you, I'm truly grateful that you're here to help and care for me." Alaric.

"I should be the one to thank you, because you saved me from the snake. It turns out I'm not as smart as you say I am. I'm a fool, just like you." Xena said with a smile.

Alaric was amazed to see the sweet smile Xena had first seen. Because all this time Xena never smiled as sweet and sincere as that to her. He was always sniffy and seemed to dislike him. The pain of being bitten by a snake turned out to bring good luck to Aiden.

After that, Xena returned to give the medicine that Abraham's grandfather had brought earlier. At first Aiden refuses, but because Xena insists, Aiden finally complies.

"Where are we?. What is this place?." Ask Aiden pretend.

"I don't know either.So I accidentally found this place." Xena is lying.

"So where did you get the food from." Ask Alaric again.

"Oh that.so I found it there. (Xena shows her hand to the side of the bunker). Maybe there's a hunter who's come here, and left his stock here." Xena lied again.

"Ohhh.maybe." Reply Alaric.

He continued to yawn, feeling drowsiness, but at this moment he did not want to sleep because he wanted to talk with Xena. But due to overwhelming drowsiness, Aiden finally fell asleep.
