"So, we as Muslims are very much prohibited from talking about the ugliness of others or can be called Ghibah.Istilah gibah etymologically based on the Arabic Dictionary of Indonesia comes from the word ghaabaha yaghibu ghaiban which means supernatural, and the name of the Islamic faith is very important, not present. Based on this etymology can be understood, gibah is a form of “one person's absence” in a talk.According to the Great Dictionary of Indonesian Language, gibah is an activity to talk about the ugliness (deity) of others such as gossiping. While in the General Dictionary of Indonesian Language, the gibah is a meaning of swear which is interpreted as a word that worsens others.In Islam, the gibah is not a commendable behavior and is strictly prohibited because it risks causing slander. As “slander is more heinous than murder.” This act besides causing the fraternity rope to break, the, also makes someone who does is filled with sin because it reveals a disgrace that should not be discussed.Based on the detention of Hasan Sa’udi in his book Oral Spiders published in 2003 described, that the gibbah is telling about someone who is not in a place with something that he does not like. Good mention of his disgrace, his descendants, his deeds, his religious affairs, and his world affairs.
