Chapter 11: Forbidden Forest, Death Pool

"How's Anna, the poison has spread?"

I nibbled at the tip of my lips, if only I had been a little more careful Sarah wouldn't have been hurt like this.

"Do we have to take him to the teacher?"

"That would be dangerous, the worst possibility they would accuse us of being the culprit."

"Impossible?"

"Help me carry it I know a place we can go."

Marick carried Sarah on his back while I guided the way ahead, some of the academy students had found us yet I rendered them unconscious with this one spell I had just learned.

"Memot."

"What are you doing Anna?"

"I erased their memories."

"Can you do that too?"

"There's no time to explain, let's take two brooms for us to fly."

"We haven't learned to ride it yet" Marick protested uncompromisingly.

"Don't worry, it must be like when we ride a bike."

At first I underestimated the broomstick and it turned out to be more difficult than I imagined, Marick didn't fly in the position he should have been short of upside down.

While I had to do it slowly with Sarah behind me tied to a rope with me so as not to fall.

Having gotten used to it I was finally able to move a little faster, as well as Marick who was painstakingly repairing himself.

The door opened and an old man sitting at the counter was shocked by our arrival.

"We need help."

"Come in" he answered quickly.

I laid Sarah's body on the bed and covered her with a blanket.

"Who is this guy?" whispered Marick.

"Ah, so here you buy the stick."

The old man put Sarah's hand down after checking her pulse.

"He can only last 24 hours, if left alone he will die."

"Is there anything that could save him?" I ask a little urgently.

The old man silently thought about it.

"The poison of the Chimera must be something rare, I doubt there is an antidote yet..."

"However?" marick's turn to ask.

"There is a region here called the forbidden forest, in the middle of which there is a pond called the pool of death, in it grew a blood lotus if it could take the lotus this young girl would be able to be saved, just to enter it was very dangerous."

"Then I'll go."

"I am too."

"No, Marick, you stay here and take care of Sarah. Where should I go?"

After getting the details of the location I left by using a broomstick, it's already night time and if someone knows that we're not in the academy we'll get in trouble.

According to the old man I was forbidden to fly in the forbidden forest, if I did, then these trees would move and knock me down. The only way is to walk through it.

I don't know if this creature is dangerous or not, which obviously avoids it is a good choice, on my way too I can see some people who just sit chatting.

They were definitely not human but spirit, and as I looked up I saw a human body hanging there.

I jerked back and immediately shut my mouth so as not to scream. I now understand why this place is off limits.
