Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch

Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch
Chapter 12: The Blood Lotus

A few monsters I had never met passed by all around, thank goodness none of them were aware of my existence. Earlier I had found strange fruits and as many as I could crush them to apply to my entire body.

Because of its pungent smell, it went well. I was finally able to see the pond in question, it was shocking because there was a person standing in front of him she was the headless woman I met before coming here.

Realizing my arrival, he turned around.

It would be much easier to tell if he had the head to show any expression, he just pointed at me with one finger before walking past me.

I'll take it as a greeting.

But before that I called one name.

"Merlim Ratmere."

He stopped for a moment before walking back. It's hard to guess what he's the guy I mean or not.

Let's put that aside, I have more important things to do. I picked up the lotus leaf before turning around to leave. There was a bubble in the pool but I didn't have time to notice.

The terrace itself was red so I had a little doubt whether this was a medicine or not, in the end I managed to get out of the forest, ride a broom and then hand over the lotus to be processed by the old man.

"Thank God you made Anna."

"Of course I'll make it, old man hurry."

"I know."

The man I was referring to had made the lotus that we made as tea and then he drank it to Sarah. Slowly the poison in Sarah's body began to disappear and her condition stabilized again.

Before he could make it clear we couldn't get out of here.

"So why does something like this happen?" ask the old man.

"It looks like Oliheim you said has moved back, I don't know who the mastermind is, which obviously they could have infiltrated as a student or a teacher."

"It's surprising, the academy may not be a safe place anymore for you students."

"Like that."

Sarah opened her eyes and checked her body.

"I think I'm fine now."

Me and Marick both breathed a sigh of relief.

"You better get out of here."

At the suggestion of our old man returning to the academy, in front of the building many people had gathered including Miss Cilia who picked us up.

"Where are you really going?"

"We just went to the nearest town, what happened?" reply so. No one answered but I could see that three students had been found murdered.

They come from an elite family.

Even if we are not accused of being the culprit, we still get the punishment of clearing the entire academy area with a broom in our hands.

Marick was lying in the grass while I was standing next to him with Sarah.

"It's not so bad, a week isn't a long time."

"One day is also exhausting enough" Marick replied to me, for Sarah only smiled wryly.

I said towards him.

"Sorry to put you in danger and thank you for helping me."

"That's what friends are for, we have to help each other."

I will never be so lucky to know both. So far no one knows what happened to the basement but just wait for the time that everything will be revealed. About Chimera, about murder and all.

The next few days I had been summoned by Miss Cilia after finishing cleaning the courtyard.

"Is there anything you need Miss Cilia?"

"I was just curious about one thing" he said without changing his expression.
