Chapter 22: The Surprising Truth

Me, Sarah and Marick visited the basement back to find clues, there was no particular reason why we went here it all depended on my curiosity alone.

The skull bodies found here have been removed and almost all of them are without the slightest trace.

"Not that the killer has been found, we shouldn't be doing this anymore."

"Are you sure that the girl was the only culprit, try to imagine how she knew about the dungeon and the curse blood, if no one told her."

"Forget Anna, Marick just thinks with her stomach."

"What the fuck?"

I began to circle the wall while fumbling around to find a secret doorway, Sarah and Marick did the same thing even though we couldn't find anything.

I turned towards the pool and found a door at its base. The water itself came out of the wall.

Sarah put her hand on her chin as she said.

"It must be hard to find it."

"Making a door under water is hard to find."

"You two back off."

I took out a white stick and sent a fireball that evaporated the water. There was a slight pause before this pool closed back the water. Before that happened we had come down.

It's like a secret passageway in the form of a small hallway.

"Where do you think this road will take us?"

"Maybe far outside the academy."

I also agree with Sarah's thought, this place is too long. There was a car that was used as a mining site, although it was not used anymore obviously it still works when we boarded it and glided quickly.

Sarah and Marick screamed in fear while I laughed.

"Haha this is fun."

"What's so fun?" yell both in unison.

The journey took 30 minutes and finally we arrived at the end of which is a ladder to climb to the top.

"Anna, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Of course" I replied to Sarah.

This is the room Sarah used when she was exposed to poison more precisely under the bed. Right, this is the old stick seller's residence.

When she showed up I pointed a stick at her, Sarah and Marick did the same.

"What's this?"

"Don't be stupid, you're the mastermind of the murders that happened in the academy and also the person who influenced the girl."

"You should know how to treat the poison, why you still want to save me when we ruined your plan."

The man laughed.

"To be precise everyone's plan, I changed my mind because I saw Anna."

"What do you mean?"

Marick sent me the question.

"Anna has curse blood but she's not a vampire or a wolf, then who exactly is she?"

"Please don't convolve, get straight to the point," Sarah replied.

"All I'm saying is Anna Holland is Merlim Ratmir himself."

Hearing this, we were all surprised.

I immediately denied it.

"That's impossible, he's dead.Where is it that I am, obviously you're lying even if I'm 15."

"That's why you all know nothing, the real Merlim Ratmir has a body as tall as yours. She's not a mature or old woman, she's just a girl your age, about her corpse all of whom have never seen her own."

I was more astonished and Sarah came forward.

"Don't listen to her Anna, let's leave it to the witch alliance alone."
