Chapter 65: The Last Monster

The first monster was inside a dark cave that was surrounding a rock mountain range, Mira the receptionist was only in a safe line watching me from a distance as I gave a small scream into the mouth of the cave.

"Hello."

The one replying was the cry of a savage beast, of course. That's not a real beast.

From the darkness his figure was seen increasingly clearly resembling a bear with two heads and horns on each of his eyebrows.

They opened their mouths and immediately shot fireballs at me, with a stick in my hand I blocked each attack forcing it out to show its entirety.

He prepared to re-attack, of course I did not let him and immediately attacked him with earth magic.

The ground rushes from its footing to form a prison, it easily destroys it and then breaks through at high speed to me.

"Extr."

My lightning eaten one of them was then ejected from the mouth of the other head, because this is what this creature is difficult to deal with.

I ran to the side to dodge my own attack before running over.

I replaced the magic wand with a twin blade, at high speed I swung the weapon. After passing through it can be ascertained that the creature has fallen.

Mira came out with a surprised face.

"Anna, who are you? Not only good at using magic you are also a martial expert."

"I just practice a lot" I said smiling wryly.

We immediately went to the next place to defeat the next giant crane snake-like monster and the last one is an octopus that often appears in fantasy films.

Because there was a storm we could not go straight away and decided to stay in the harbor.

Every monster I defeat is sent by Mira to the guild, the payment will be taken care of afterwards.

Inside Mira's room continued to show her disbelief. I completed this mission quickly than most people can do, they often give up just like that even after walking half a step.

"Good night Mira."

"It's been sleeping, but it's not night yet."

"I'm quite tired especially tomorrow there's still one monster to hunt."

"It's true."

"Good night then."

"Night."

Mira's just my supervisor after that we'll probably just be strangers. When we were about to ride my broom the next morning we were visited by some people who looked like fishermen.

"I heard you're going to hunt the octopus, if you don't mind if we can come?"

Mira and I tilted their heads.

"If she looks like an octopus she's still a monster" I said.

In the normal world there is something similar and it is very troublesome.

"That thing attacks our ships so often, if it gets lost from our waters it's something we've dreamed of for a long time, at least let us take it and see it."

They were a bit pushy which made me unable to resist.

I guess I didn't mind allowing them to come along, they set up a large ship with sails that could withstand quite the wind, with only that we sailed easily.

I was last time traveling like this.

A few minutes later we reached the location in question, just as when fighting the human-headed fish I plunged into the water then froze it easily before the octopus realized it.

With this then my hunt is complete, with this I have already completed what I have made in the past even if it is only a small part of it.
