Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch

Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch
Chapter 08: The White Stick

The next three sticks have me broken, and the fourth trial I have had a match with the white stick.

My hair was a little blown by the wind even though I was actually in the room.

"Looks like it suits you, I doubt that someone will be able to use it so I've been keeping it in the warehouse all this time. Who are you really?"

"I want to know who I am?"

He asked and I answered with another question, by the way I don't have the money to buy a new stick even though I'm grateful that I can owe it here.

From the beginning I just wanted to ask about the stick but it became like this.

"Well Anna, don't tell me about the stick."

"I know."

Who would want to die for a sin I never committed, I told Miss Cilia that the previous stick was broken and I ended up replacing it with a new wand.

Thank goodness that he somehow accepted my made-up excuses.

When I walked down the corridor Sarah and Marick had been waiting for me there.

"We're a little worried because you don't look like Anna."

"I've been looking for you everywhere?" added Marick who I answered honestly.

"Actually I went to the nearest town."

Both of them glanced at me with interested faces, there was no prohibition on academy students to walk around outside of school and obviously they also wanted to leave.

Next time I'll take them, what can I tell them.

The re-learning is held as usual, starting with basic magic then simple theories as usual.

Almost boring.

For reasons I didn't know Gilbert didn't come in a few days earlier and when everyone thought that he might be disappointed because of the final result everyone was surprised by him being in the academy with dead bodies attached to the wall.

Bloodstains splashed from his clothes as if slashed by a sharp object and his neck was almost severed.

There are plant tendrils that trap it.

Everyone was surprised even all the teaching staff felt that way as well.

"It's not supposed to be Gilbert with the two of them."

What Sarah meant was two of her bodyguards who were now just standing in fear before collapsing sitting with their faces paled.

I, with them was taken to the office to be questioned. The one who initiated me were three teachers I knew including the principal among them.

"So Miss Anna Holland, did you do it?"

"I don't know anything about this."

"Don't you have a conflict with Mr Gilbert before?"

"That's true but I'm not so much that I finish him."

I said that to Mr. Goven who from the look in his eyes accused me for no reason, he did not like the commoners so it was not strange that he would directly be harsh on me, on the other hand Miss Cilia was still silent to weigh in.

"As long as Anna continues with me, I doubt she has time to do so without my suspicion."

Miss Helena sighed softly and then continued.

"His body was brutally murdered, one neck wound was then torn apart elsewhere."

We've seen it. The person who does so may be a psychopath or the person who has a grudge against him.

Now the question is directed towards Gilbert's two foolish bodyguards.

"We also don't know, the last time Mr. Gilbert said he wanted revenge on Anna, and decided to go underground."

Everyone reacted to the basement.

"Why did he do it?"

"Some say that there are things that can make Mr. Gilbert invincible."

"School head?"

"I doubt that learning can be continued normally, lack time and make sure that each student does not go out at night and continue to be with the others."

At the headmaster's statement, the three teachers nodded in understanding.
