Chapter 207: Two People Who Want Peace
Just as I rested myself a knife slid towards my eyes, I held it in but it pierced my arm and then stuck it well in my left eye.
I immediately pulled it out and saw that my hand had been splattered with blood.
While enduring the pain I glanced towards a person who walked through the wall. He opened his mask displaying eyes with a circular snake pattern.
"How does it feel to lose one eye?"
Her orange hair is her trademark. I picked it up while shooting a bullet at him.
"Shuji."
The bullet pierced through his body to make a hole in the wall of the building behind him.
"Well, you don't have to be that vigilant, I just want to talk to you. I just wanted to keep an eye on this fight, but it seems like it's faster than I imagined."
"Speaking? You mean by hurting my eyes."
"I thought you could avoid it but it seems like your strength is a little less than I thought."
This guy seems to know everything.
I changed the direction of the conversation.
"What do you want to attract the dragons of destruction to attack this city?"
"No other means, I just want you to eradicate them while we destroy the dragon territory, as a person who has the same desires as me, what if you also come with me?"
"Peace?" I repeated the words and Shinji smiled, he flicked his finger until the ground around him gushed upwards forming a statue of a woman with a cloth covering her eyes while her hand held a scale.
He explains.
"You want to kill everyone who threatens the safety of this world. While my wish is to destroy everything then rebuild a new world and become a god who protects everyone."
"By sacrificing innocent people, do not joke, you're just gonna create your little kingdom that's gonna kill each other until there's nothing left."
"Stupid dream."
"Although that's how I'm better. When they come to this kingdom what are you gonna do?"
"If that happens I will accept my death."
Shinji smirked happily.
"You and I have something in common where we want peace.The world won't change until someone foules his own hands, and we're both the ones who can do it... Well, now..what's your choice? To be by my side and create a peaceful world or to hold fast to your will and be my enemy."
I fired a bullet into his right eye and again it penetrated him easily.
"It's clear, my answer is no" I said.
"Bas stubborn, but I really appreciate it. In this world there is no need for two people who have the goal of creating peace, come to the territory of the dragons, come to the territory of the dragons, there we can kill each other and see whose path is right" he said as his entire body began to be sucked into the ground with his statue.
