I sat at the table with the village chief as I stared at the people dancing near the campfire including Miss Heliet and the spirit.
The music of the medieval times sounded very much in tune with the movements they performed.
"Add more."
"Well the village chief...how about you?'
"I don't like alcoholic drinks."
"Nature, it's rare that a young man doesn't like to drink, what do I want to replace with another drink?"
"I like drinks made from fruits mixed with milk "
"I'll prepare."
"Thank you, sorry to bother."
"Just this isn't a problem," the woman left after bowing towards me.
The village chief deftly took the glass that had been filled with foam and put it in his mouth.
Next he was unconscious.
"That's the twenty-first glass."
This is our farewell party, at least I should enjoy it too. I also danced with others where we joined hands with each other and then circled around the campfire.
When will my drink come?
The next morning I say goodbye to everyone and then leave the village with my teacher in a horse carriage earlier.
"Last night's drink was pretty good, if there was any time I wanted to make it, too" I said lightly while my teacher was too focused with the map in her hand.
"Will I come here?"
"It's on our path."
"What's wrong, I hear this place is visited by many tourists."
I peeked a little at the map showing a village near Loh Ness lake and Miss Heliet explained.
"In this lake it is said that where Morea lives, we can eat them as much as we like as long as we can catch them."
Morea is a type of giant eel that can reach about 10 meters with a body of 3 meters, rarely there is someone who fishes there because that's all people who come just enjoy the beauty of the village.
"What can we do, we can stop by and stay for two nights."
"It must be fun, I'm sure there's plenty of food and friendly people."
When we arrived my teacher's shadow about this place was clearly wrong.
No one who was seen outside even impressed like a ghost town.
"Why this? This is far from a rumor that people are saying."
"Don't believe the rumors if you don't know the truth."
We forced our way into a bar that seemed to have been closed for a long time, unless the place was dusty the drink could still be drunk.
Miss Heliet took out a bottle of wine then poured it in a tall glass before elegantly drinking it.
"Hmmm what a wonderful wine."
He enjoyed it like a famous wine critic, before long a grandfather with his granddaughter appeared.
"Who are you?"
The grandfather looked surprised but I replied with a smile.
"I'm sorry we broke in. We just happened to pass by and decided to rest in this village."
The grandfather sighed softly and then said.
"You better get out of here, this village is long dead and only me and my grandchildren live here."
Cute little girl.
"You two?" cut off Miss Heliet.
"Aah, everyone here just suddenly disappeared in the feeding by the fog."
"May I hear the whole story" I asked.
We sat at the same table as the Grandpa explained.
One year ago these grandfathers and grandchildren went to the mountain to collect foodstuffs, as they returned from the mountain they saw a lot of mist enveloping their village.
Which made it strange after the fog disappeared everyone who lived here instead disappeared without a trace.
