Chapter 56: The Whale Attack

Tiffany crossed her arms to support her large chest then said as if this situation could be guessed by her from the start.

I approached the raccoon then crouched down with one knee touching the floor.


"I don't know what you're thinking about us, which obviously we wouldn't use for a crime."


Before the raccoon opened its mouth suddenly the shaking occurred so we had difficulty maintaining balance.


"What's that?" ask Tiffany.


"He's coming again."


"Let me check on you."


Nicol immediately ran towards the window to check the situation outside with a gun in his hand.


"What the fuck? There's a giant whale coming here."


"There was a fish in the sky" Tiffany chuckled back, until Nicol's voice cut through.


"Everything's down."


I immediately grabbed the raccoon in my arms while Nicol ran to knock Tiffany to the floor.

The top of the library was shattered like a tornado that had died half of its original building, as I looked up into the sky to ascertain what had happened, I could see the belly of a giant whale passing me just like that with a roar that signified death.


"It's so big" said Tiffany.


"Nicol please protect this raccoon."


"Good sir."


"Wait, did you also tell me to fight."


"There's no time anymore."


I gave the raccoon to Nicol before pulling Tiffany's hand.


"What are you doing?"


Without answering his question I threw Tiffany at the whale who had turned to attack us.


"Aksaaaa."


"Do your duty if you don't want to die."


In mid-air Tiffany clenched her fists and sent her punch right in the pope's face, usually enough to destroy a sturdy fortress however, it was, what I could see was an invisible field holding him back.


"What?"


"Tiffany are you okay?' my many.


"It looks like my hand is broken."


I pulled Tiffany's body away to coincide with a bubble bursting where she was before.


"Greed do you know what that thing is?"


"Let's know, this is the first time I've seen a creature like this, but it's clearly a demonic beast."


I left Tiffany to be with Nicol.


The whale soared in the sky and then swooped towards me, using Greed I shot him several times in the face even though it did not produce anything.


I rolled over as the whale managed to split this floating island into two halves.


"You can't beat the creature with a regular shot" Greed said.


"I just want to know how thick the walls are."


I directed Greed back to create a magic circle in front of his muzzle, about five black balls I shot in sequence and could only smash on his wall.


In the next shot the whale shattered and turned into pieces of falling crystals.


"That was pretty fun."


"You're just a weapon so don't know how exhausting it is to run around here and there."


I put Greed back on my waist and walked towards all of them.


"My hand is broken, how is this?"


"Calm down, I'll fix it."


"Wait, wait."


Cracks.


"Uwaahh," Tiffany just resigned with tears falling like a waterfall.


I used healing magic as well so she'll be fine.


The fox in Nicol's arms jumped down.


"The magic you use feels familiar, do you have any connection with Miss Meliana?"


"He's my teacher."
