Chapter 68: The Magic Academy
For a while we would stay at the Carrot residence before returning to the Lemurian continent, while in the capital there was one place I wanted to visit here, because Tiffany wanted to see the shops here she took Nicol to go with her and now I just go alone with Sirius.
"The apple candy."
"Please."
Sirius received the candy and put it in his mouth.
"Master's son."
"That's it," I said with a bitter smile, it was hard for me to make her smile.
The two of us started down the city streets, on the right-left rich in different stalls, as if whatever you wanted here had been made available.
There are two markets in the city, the first is the main market and the second is the flea market that sells used goods, if I'm lucky I might find something nice for a bargain there as souvenirs for my teacher and the others.
Food is not used so please mark it, when I think that I was wrong, here also there are those who sell used food.
Out of curiosity I asked the seller.
"A waste food like this, is anyone going to buy it?"
"Most of this food is given to farm animals, you can buy it cheap. Wanna?"
"No thanks."
At least this city did not throw food just like that, after passing through the flea market then we arrived at a building that was not much less magnificent with the mass Carrot.
It was the academy that Meliana had previously founded with her colleagues, there was a statue of hers adorning the garden grounds complete with a hat and a stick in her carry.
I already knew that inside the staff was the spirit of a woman named Margaret, after I met the Dragon Goddess I was sure that I could save her as well, until then I will keep everything a secret from my teacher even the other students of Vivian Legal.
"Master?"
"Let's go in, I already have Permission."
"Good."
Today the Academy is on holiday so there are no students in it except some teachers as well as security and hygiene staff.
Sirius and I walked down the corridor to a room near the stairs, according to Meliana's travel book, where she taught her students about magic.
It's not that I miss it it's just that it's pretty nostalgic.
"Bored," Sirius yawned wide.
He really did not hide his feelings.
I began to walk through the painting on the classroom wall and found a piece of paper falling on the floor.
"What is a master?"
"The love letter that Meliana wrote, she once liked her own student but this letter was never given by her."
"so."
Now that I knew why my teacher's character was like that as well, I decided not to read it and put it where it was before.
I think Meliana deliberately put it there so that someone could find it, after all her own letter has no name.
After class I tried to walk to the other floor before finally going down to the practice room used by the students.
There are some exemplary students in the length of the photo on the wall, among them there is Lisa and Boby who turned out they also attended school here.
"Can I help you?"
A janitor asked me.
"Ah, we're just looking around. This place is really great."
"Like that, magic used to be banned and we all sometimes got into a fight with each other but thanks to the Witch Meliana everything changed, with magic all things easier and fun."
I nodded in response then walked with Sirius to the exit.
"Are you leaving?"
"Well, thank you uncle next time maybe I will visit again" I said as I waved.
"Come as much as you like" he replied.
