This is a big city where people pass by, usually you will find people like in general but here I think different.
They're all obviously vampires.
Usually people serve food for sale but how you go everyone only promises blood and raw meat. They had obviously forgotten about living like humans.
There was one place that provided sweets so I bought one while asking.
"Everybody here is a vampire?"
The seller's aunt smiled.
"Right, surely the master is from outside the empire."
"Yes, I actually just got here but I see everything seems to change a lot from before I remember."
"That's because the ruler of this country is Miss Blossom, the previous Emperor was said to have been killed in battle so he ascended the throne."
"Did everyone just take it for granted?"
"From the beginning Miss Blossom was the first princess of the Empire so it was clear that she had the right to be emperor."
Compared to Barnett who is an outsider, the ruling lineage is now held by the right people.
"But I'm curious you guys don't seem to mind being vampires, but how can you all change at the same time?"
"In three days time there will be a rain of blood falling in this country, and when someone is exposed, they will instantly become vampires."
So that's right, this auntie just easily talked to me without fear of this information leaking.
Basically if someone enters this country, they will become vampires so any information will be leaked later.
I'm more interested in one thing about whether they like to drink human blood? Just as I was about to say it Rion in the sword whispered.
"Better we go first."
I followed him into a narrow alley before I could finally see some guards start popping up.
"Now how's Lion?" ask Aira.
"If we knew about it."
To Rion's statement I was a little surprised.
They were goddesses surely both of them had already obtained a clue while reading the contents of their heads.
Before long a commotion rang out from the direction of the road, I peeked and saw a person rampaging uncontrollably.
Some of the guards I saw earlier were trying to calm him down or rather kill him.
His wife and son were just crying on the side of the road.
"They are very cruel" said Aira.
From where I stood I could not listen to any conversation even so I knew that they would also kill both of them, therefore I stepped forward slashing at them quickly before taking the mother and child to run along.
I don't know where to go therefore I just used the Teleportation Gate to go to the middle of the forest.
There the mother and son hugged each other, their bodies trembling in fear.
"Please don't hurt us."
"I'm not a bad guy, wait a minute."
I used wood magic to create a simple house that they could live in for a while or forever.
Aira and Rion return to their forms and try to calm them both down.
After they calmed down they sat at the table together while I gave everyone tea.
"Thank you" said the mother, trying hard.
"Sorry before but why did they kill your husband?"
Silence was felt between all of us until he finally opened his mouth.
