Chapter 383: Lightning Strike
In the chaos, adventurers still in the city began to attack simultaneously to bring down the giant rat. The city guards also evaded residents to safety.

I know who else has such red eyes that it is even more terrifying.
The lightning around me began to form itself increasingly larger and conical sharply following the direction of my forehead.

Along with my words, the lightning was shot like a laser which destroyed his body until the top exploded, because the power of the magic I used the laser penetrated out of the city and destroyed a mountain easily.
The rat's body collapsed to the side before he was able to regenerate I destroyed his entire body with fire magic without sparing a single bit of flesh there.
One successful quest means four more to complete, now we climb the mountain high enough. It was already dusk at its peak and there was a stone golem that I had to beat there.
According to the surrounding city, the golem often went berserk and threw rocks down, destroying dozens of houses and killing dozens of people for his actions.
Different from a mouse, this golem was quite easy to deal with, I experimented on uniting lightning and fire through my sword and it created a tenfold force which blasted the golem into small pieces.
Both Rion and the guild lady hid their faces to dissipate the dust that was gushing towards them.

In a day two quests were quite tiring therefore we returned to the city to reserve one room for me and Rion to stay in, for the guild lady he stayed in the next room.
He is too dedicated to his work.

"What the woman next to us will be fine, she seems to be pushing herself too much" Rion said as I lightly retorted while tidying her hair in front of the mirror.
"I think everyone has their own reasons for working hard."
The next morning we went to the lake to defeat some crocodiles, I once again used the weakened Lightning Strike at a certain level.
It was enough to make the lake instantly boil and the fish died from the effects as well. Thank goodness that the village that laid the work in the guild was not angry about this and was still willing to give it in return.
