Called To Another World By An Evil Goddess
Chapter 356: The Lost Books

The next city that Rion came to was a small town to the east of the holy orthodox kingdom, this kingdom was suddenly formed and had an area of half of this continent.

Although the war has finished this city seems to still not get any repairs entirely, there are some houses that only leave half the building and some are flat with the ground.

People seem to be working together to clean up all the mess.

In the eyes of everyone they had the right to take the land of the titans after all they had first destroyed their home which is now called the demon continent.

But to Rion everything seemed awkward even though he could not find any further information about it.

"You just came here?" the one who asked me kindly was a man who sold sweet potatoes.

"Yes, is everything okay?"

"Ah no problem, a few days ago there was an army of demon lords who came here and made a mess but all of them have been driven out."

Even though they had taken the land of the titans it seemed like the matter was not so settled afterwards.

"So, it must be hard for you guys."

"No problem, thanks to Miss Venus everything will be fine."

Rion fell silent thinking of something until the man's voice resuscitated him.

"Are you okay?"

"It's okay, I'll have two grilled yams for me."

"Good."

Venus was someone Rion knew in the realm of goddesses, as long as she collected the seven sins she did not want to deal with at all.

Venus tends to be serious and can't be talked to, which is how Rion looks at her. Ignoring that thought Rion bit his yam with pleasure.

Thanks to the dark business he has done he has enough money for shelter, food and other necessities but one thing he really wants to do is just one thing: learn magic.

Some books were left lying around as if there was nothing else anyone could do.

"If this is how I learned magic," when Rion cursed at her state he only realized one important thing.

Right, something he could understand very easily.

These books were left unattended, no one would sue him if he gathered these books and studied them. Rion smiled at the idea he had gotten and quickly collected the scattered books wrapping them in cloth as if he had just left the house.

He rented a simple inn and began to live his routine as usual in addition to fortune telling he would go to learn magic.

The innkeeper had warned him something important.

"Ah, miss beware lately there's a rumor that the books in the building in the damaged academy suddenly disappear I'm afraid that in our city there are thieves hanging around."

"Eh, really?"

"That's right, by the time some officers were about to clear the academy's wreckage all the books had been lost."

"The thief was shameless, I'm sure he was chatting with someone while laughing at the money he got."

"I think the same."

The thief in question was of course Rion himself, after he finished one book he would sell the book.

It was quite good when it turned out that the book had a fairly high price on the market especially if through an auction.

"Miss, why are you smiling to yourself?"

"I just remembered something funny, I'm going home tomorrow morning.it's okay to lock the door early."

"All right."

Rion just walked away after saying that.
