CHAPTER 36; Guilt

“It looks like Oppa jusru looks like he wants to die..” Aleya chuckles at San Hyuk who has difficulty breathing, “I'm fine..

Aleya took a drink for San Hyuk and Han Byeol who were now sitting side by side in the living room. He then sat down in the chair in front of San Hyuk. The atmosphere was not as calm as before.

“What is Han Byeol contacting you?”

“Iya, I've got word if that person leaves the hotel. I was already on my way here when Han Byeol contacted me. You okay?” this question of San Hyuk led to Han Byeol. He could not imagine how surprised he was when he saw the Jagad which he said resembled him.

“I'm fine. Mom told me to stay in the room.” there was disappointment from Han Byeol's tone. Either because he couldn't protect his mother or some other reason.

“You are right, indeed that is what you should do,” San Hyuk's sentence pitched the order.  He could not deny that there was anxiety he felt. He did not want his son to fall into the man's hands.

“This meeting is not too bad. I can handle it..” Aleya's words are not necessarily wrong. Although he felt a tremendous fear, but he managed to get through it.

“Not next time you can't meet him yourself.”.

“I'm not alone,” Aleya is trying to convince San Hyuk to trust her more, “but why would Woo Jin-ssi just be beaten up like that?”

“We do not know the character of the person yet and most importantly we should not change the status of the victim to a suspect. Being physically wounded will only add to our gap. It's not that he's a bad fight, I did deliberately tell him.” San Hyuk wanted to read first before taking action. He is not a rash person to take a hit with a punch. He even told Woo Jin to go to the hospital for a visit just in case.

“You okay?” Jagad gave a bottle of water to Robin. He could only laugh at the man who had long been his right hand.

Robin's face looked stiff from the moment he entered the hallway of the apartment where Aleya lived. Even Robin did not dare to look directly at the woman and continued to shift her gaze if the woman looked at her. The feeling is so heavy often remember the figure of Aleya.

He wanted to know what happened to his brother during his stay in Korea. But Jagad needs enough information to make his sister miserable again.

“You said what!” Jagad's face changed drastically hearing Alex's explanation. If what Alex says is true, Jagad should replace the statergi. He was initially only going to make Aleya suffer again by dragging her back to Indonesia. But it's different if he gets that much support behind him. How can children not know themselves can approach a man with a background like that.

“Do you really do your job right?” tanya Jagad wants to make sure once again.

“We will tell you this tomorrow. Just today we were looking for a connection in the civil registry to look for evidence of that truth,” Alex refocused his gaze to the front of the wheel. This was only the first time he met directly with Jagad and he just felt firsthand the pressure that emerged from the aura of Jagad.

“If that's true, we're in big trouble..” Jagad mumbled softly at Robin.

“Do we better stop? Honestly, I feel very guilty.” Robin finally opened his mouth.

“What's wrong with you?” Maagad was astonished to see the determination of Robin suddenly receded. Usually the man is cold-hearted and very straight in carrying out all his duties, “what is your heart breaking after seeing him again?”

“I thought I was fine, but as soon as I saw the look in his eyes today I felt like dying Robin threw his eyes out the window. Even to this day his chest still feels tight. It was better to jump into the Han River that was ahead than to have to deal with Aleya again.

“I didn't know you were that weak!” The jagad wastes its rough breath. He did not expect Robin to be this fragile when he met Aleya. He thought his friend had forgotten all about his past, but he was wrong. Robin still kept that flavor to Aleya.

“I'm sorry..” an apology from Robin makes Jagad's heart even worse. All this time he never remembered hearing that phrase from Robin's mouth. This makes the Jagad speechless. It looks like he has inflicted trauma on Robin.

The jagad was silent again. He must find out first before taking the next step. The time he had was getting narrower.
