CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE

CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE
CHAPTER 52; A pair of brothers

“Wait a minute!” The jagad blocked Aleya who was about to leave after driving them all back to the hotel.

Without answering, Aleya stared at the Jagad from top to bottom. He did not know why the man's tone had changed a little more calmly. Unlike usual, the cynical tone is even threatening. He prefers to observe until Jagad continues his sentence.

“Can we talk to you for a minute?” continued. He actually wanted to get Aleya to talk, but as long as he was in Korea up to this second there was never a single chance for that. Too much he wants to say until the words he should not say as an adult actually appear and destroy everything. It was the accumulation of emotions that he had been craving for that made his personality mess up the moment he met Aleya.

“What?” actually Aleya was also curious about the change in attitude shown by Jagad. It was obvious from his behavior even though it did not reduce Aleya's suspicion of the man.

“Are we going to talk and fight here like uneducated people?” ask Jagad while looking around. They were in the lobby of the hotel and only a few meters away from the exit.

“You want to invite me to talk or fight?” Aleya.

“Can we not fight? Don't you realize you've changed?” jagad Protest. He does not accept it if he is the only source of trouble.

“Do you think I'm still the easy snot girl you play with?”

“See, we haven't had a fight!” The corn breathes rough. He could not deny that now the more mature Aleya felt so similar to him.

“Follow me..” Aleya suddenly stepped out of the hotel.

“Are you commanding me?” Jagad protested while following Aleya's firm footsteps.

Outside the hotel lobby is ready a trident-branded SUV waiting for Aleya. He then approached the driver's seat which contained a driver as well as a bodyguard who had been waiting for him there.

“I'll bring this car myself!” emphatically

“But Madam..” The person who was mandated to look after her employer was visibly hesitant as soon as he saw the figure of Jagad standing behind Aleya.

“You can follow me if you want,” Aleya gives no other choice but to follow her orders. He opened the car door to let the young man out indirectly.

“You won't bring your people to hold me, will you?” aleya asked while taking Jagad to get in the car.

“Do I get into the tiger cage if I could have been killed before hunting him?” grumbling the Jagad while entering the car. He was not a fool who could ignore the people who were watching Aleya at the moment. Although he could have deployed his paid people, but the strategy was not in his plan. He only wanted to talk first with Aleya before deciding what steps he would take afterwards.

“Where are we going?” jagad asked after ten minutes in the car driven by Aleya.

“I tell you you won't know,” Aleya replied a little pleased. Just this time he felt superior over his brother. It was the Jagad that was in control of his life. It never crossed his life that the position could be reversed like this.

“Cih! Did Brother just notice it?” aleya said without awaying her eyes.

“You're happy to live without me right?”

Aleya chose not to answer him. Although it might not be believed so easily, Aleya felt that there was a lonely tone in that question sentence.

In retrospect, there was actually no grudge in Aleya's heart. He never thought of replying to his brother. Even before knowing that Han Byeol was not the son of his brother, he did not take revenge on Jagad. The past was indeed bad for him and those fears clearly haunted Aleya's life all along. But after meeting again with Jagad, it turns out Aleya can go through it until now. Although he did not immediately thank his memory that disappeared, but the rest there was no deep trauma. The roots of revenge and trauma were already slowly eroded along with Han Byeol's presence and San Hyuk's sincerity all along.

Sometimes the pregnancy that happened to Aleya became a nightmare for every woman who had just reached adulthood. But that calamity was really interpreted differently by Aleya. Although it was heavy at first, but Aleya managed to make Han Byeol as her life grip. Through Han Byeol, Aleya was more able to love herself.

Aleya was the house and Han Byeol was the occupant of the house. There was no reason for Aleya to collapse and be fragile as long as Han Byeol was there.

So large was Han Byeol's portion in Aleya's mental recovery move.

Aleya understood the law perfectly and what she believed did not betray her. He really grew to become the person he expected.

Even now Aleya felt proud of her who could talk and look directly into the eyes of Jagad. Unlike the seemingly difficult mountain to climb, once we set the heart to start the first step, unconsciously now we have succeeded through it.

This was the result of the effort Aleya had put in all this time.

He just has to face it.

In the silence of the rider, Aleya's car split the city of Seoul northward towards Seongbuk-Dong. In contrast to the bustling urban hustle and bustle, Seongbuk-Dong has a more peaceful atmosphere with a greener atmosphere on the slopes of the mountains, precisely at the foot of Mount Bukhan.

Jagad casts his gaze outwards as the city's sights gradually change to a tree-dominated area that portrays a beautiful spring. He lowered the car glass and inhaled air that presents a different atmosphere from the seasons in Indonesia. A sensation that made his mind much calmer without the burden of any thoughts in memory.

Aleya's car speed started to slow down as soon as she went deeper. The trip then stopped in front of a traditional Korean house built in the 1930s. The architectural beauty of the hanok is perfectly interwoven with the feel of spring which increasingly makes the garden around the traditional house look stunning. Aleya precedes Jagad out of the car.

“What is this place?” ask Jagad while teaching Aleya steps.

“Place that makes our minds much more comfortable..” although Aleya's answer seemed careless, but Jagad did not comment further. He felt what his sister meant.

The two walked along the path to the restaurant. If no one knew the thread of fate wrapped around them, the two looked like a pair of familiar and affectionate brothers.

Honey, fate trapped them in the dark.
