CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE

CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE
CHAPTER 53; Sorry

The breeze of spring breeze hit the second hair child of man who was silent in silence. The atmosphere and ambient aroma made both of them submerge themselves in their respective sanitary ware. Trying to calm worldly ambitions and understand the twists and turns of the life journey that has been experienced.

A calming pause. No one speaks except the whisper of nature that occasionally tickles the senses. Even the cup-flavored Korean traditional tea that has been served by the waitress adds to the inner peace that is coveted by anyone.

“Sorry..”

One magical word that came out from the mouth of the Jagad tore the silence in the most impossible way Aleya could think of. He never thought, even hoped not, that one word would be pledged to him.

Aleya could only be pensive, unable to digest let alone respond to the intent of the word.

“I know, I'm sorry I couldn't abort the sin I've been doing to you all this time. But at least, in my life, I want to say it just once..” continued Jagad. He sipped the tea that had been served in front of him while throwing his face out the window. There was a sense of awkwardness that he deliberately avoided when he met Aleya.

“What does all this mean?” aleya's question was very reasonable. The attitude shown by Jagad is inversely proportional to the sentence he just uttered. Just a few days before they met, there had been many incidents and threatening words that came from his lips. Why did he suddenly apologize?

“Entah..” asked just shrugged his shoulders while exhaling rough breath, “my mind is in a mess.”

“Don't try to outwit me,” Aleya said as she watched the movements of the Jagad. He had trouble reading the ripples on his sister's face. There was a clear worry from his actions. He was being overwhelmed by life choices that did not benefit him.

“No, even if I do, you'll be fine right now. You didn't see it?” Jagad swept his gaze far out, “you are now out of my reach..”.

“What's wrong with you?” Aleya frowned looking at the melodramatic side of Jagad.

“Maybe I'm crazy,” suddenly Jagad felt ashamed of himself with his attitude that seemed to whine and complain like a child.

“Why do you hate me?” Aleya ventured to ask. Although he had thought that his presence was not expected and more on a threat, but it did not necessarily give Jagad the right to do all these deeds to him. He needs a reason, he needs an answer that can provide clarity on all the attitudes of Jagad so far.

“I just did it so that I could survive,” Jagad's answer was really beyond Aleya's expectations.

“I don't understand!” how Aleya would understand if that was the meaning of all this suffering.

“My real sister was named Moona before you came and filled her place. Yes, that's the duty given to you to take care of the psychic Mama,” Jagad explained as soon as he found Aleya who was silent.

This fact was something new to Aleya. He had never heard this story before. Aleya chose to shut up and heard the story of Jagad as a whole.

“You remember right? Although I am outrageous, but I am very aware of the meaning and existence of you for Mama. I treated you well, didn't I?” Aleya did not remember the details too much. He lost most of his childhood. But true, Jagad treats it well as long as they are in the home environment. Even during school, Jagad did not openly commit physical and verbal abuse on Aleya. He is the type of imidator that makes Aleya more unable to make friends and have friends.

“But, Mama doesn't know that your body is running the same blood as Moona's. You are indeed a savior, but you are a time bomb in our little family,” Jagad cannot hide his disappointment in his father. He really regretted that this had to happen to his family.

“What is even more sad is Mama. Without knowing the actions of Papa behind her, she raised the seeds of her own affair lovingly. Do you think I'd stay sane if I saw all that?” Jagad can only hold because he knows very well how his mother's psychic development after Moona left. He could not do much because he was still a child who could not protect his mother at that time.

“Since when did you find out? That you and I are brothers?” Aleya started to see where this matter came from. He began to assume the hatred he received was clear where it came from. If he were to become a God, he probably would not be able to bear that burden alone.

“Since we SMA and not only that you should know..” The jagad stared intently at Aleya. Seeing how the reaction will be given by him, “your mother is still alive. You really aren't an orphan adopted by our family. Don't you know this at all? Papa never gave you a clue?”

“If I knew, you thought I'd be silent about receiving all your treatment?” cynical Aleya.

“Then what is your role? No, what role should be attached to you?” this is the dead end that has been the obstacle of Jagad all this time. He couldn't draw a logical line to this one until he didn't know which side Aleya was standing on.

“Where do I know? If I'm that slick, maybe I'll just shut up when you treat me like a doll! Why did you choose such a difficult position by pretending to love me when you hated me so much?” Aleya took a deep breath to suppress her emotions. He did not come here to make himself explode in a clutch of anger. But the story presented by Jagad actually makes him feel an injustice that is very painful. Why would he have to endure all that from the beginning was not his fault?

“Ah, yes. You're not curious about your mother?” Jagad realized his story was incomplete.

“So I know my mom?” the word mother was actually very foreign coming out of Aleya's mouth. From the beginning he did not have it until he was not too as ambitious as the figure of his mother. Aleya was also no longer a child who needed a mother figure to take care of her. She even became a mother.

“Your mother is in jail..” Jagad deliberately paused his sentence. She waited for Aleya for the woman to look at her as if the next sentence would require readiness in her acceptance, “Your mother is in prison for being found guilty of making someone lose their life. And that poor guy is Moona.”

The silence again enveloped the two pairs of eyes that were now staring at each other. One pair showed the bitterness that he had been craving while the other pair were full of prayer and hope that what he had just heard was not true.
