CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE

CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE
CHAPTER 6; Surviving and Surrendering

“Sorry,” says Aleya shrewdly.

“Already...” again San Hyuk feels defeated, “why can you promise me that you will be okay? You're not leaving Korea, are you?” san Hyuk's question left Aleya stunned. How could the man be so sharp as his intuition?

“Of course I can't promise!” Aleya released San Hyuk's handrails on her arm and grabbed him. “I may not be able to say it yet, but please believe me, I just don't want to make the job here fucked up because of my stupidity.”

“No Aleya! You're not stupid, you just need a break.” San Hyuk wiped the back of Aleya's hand with his thumb. Although he was unwilling to agree to Aleya's leave. Always so, if Aleya was already shaking her head, San Hyuk couldn't possibly refuse.

“Thank you!” aleya said as she tried hard to hold back the tightness in her chest. Aleya did not want to look weak and leaned on San Hyuk this time around. There were so many things San Hyuk had done for him. This time he decided to try to defend his life to the point of the final blood.

San Hyuk stared fixedly at Aleya once again, trying to find the woman's gap but free. It was always like that. It was very difficult to read Aleya's heart and mind. He is very good at hiding both. But his attitude lately is indeed different from usual. Aleya often lost focus and her mind was out of nowhere. To the knowledge of San Hyuk, the thing that most disturbed the woman's mind was about her homeland, Indonesia.

San Hyuk could not help but hug Aleya. He held the woman in his arms. He did not intend to let go even though Aleya was struggling and trying to let go of San Hyuk's embrace.

“Oppa...” Aleya's heart can't stop pounding. His eyes were busy looking at the window. Afraid if others saw San Hyuk's attitude. He didn't want any rumors about him and San Hyuk in this office.

“Relax, no one saw,” San Hyuk increasingly tightened his embrace, “just a moment, after this I will release you. I'll sign your license so..” San Hyuk purposely hung up his sentence. He reluctantly let go of Aleya rather than lose her forever. He did not know what happened to Aleya but he knew that bad things were being experienced by her. The only thing he could do was allow it and give him the strength that everything would be fine. At least that's his hope.

Aleya stopped trying to let go of San Hyuk's embrace the moment she heard his permission was received. Again the man gave comfort to Aleya in his way. Without forcing to obey his curiosity or kneeling to always answer his questions.

“Thank you, I'll be fine, Oppa,” Aleya said as if answering San Hyuk's wishes.

“You know? I hate your side this one the most,” San Hyuk said as he placed his chin on the tip of Aleya's head. He tried to dispel the sense that demanded more on Aleya. Things that he had always kept for the sake of the togetherness of the two.

“Oppa, always like that. What was said did not match the action,” Aleya smiled faintly recalling all of San Hyuk's hate speech. The man was always complaining but in a position to give Aleya a place to find peace. It creates an atmosphere where not a sense of disappointment but instead attention as the end result. The heart of the man is so soft to really hurt Aleya, “don't hold back too much just for the sake of me Oppa,”.

“You better go home and rest, I think you have a little fever,” orders San Hyuk while handing the document to Aleya. That guy's not making it up. Already since this morning he saw the slightly fading hue of Aleya's face, several times his eyes caught the movement of the woman's hand massaging her temples slowly. Not to mention, the moment he hugged her earlier, he could clearly feel a significant difference in body temperature between the two.

“I will finish my work today first,” reject Aleya politely. Although what San Hyuk said was true, there were some jobs that he had to delegate to his colleagues before he left the job.

“You should trust your coworkers more if you really want to take a leave of absence. Unless you still want to monitor them from home though,” scolds San Hyuk.

“Nothing,” Aleya replied briefly.

“Alright, it's up to you,” San Hyuk has Aleya out of her room. But before Aleya really left, she called back to him, “you came home with me. No word no!”

“Good Chairman Shin,” Aleya smiled as she walked out of the room. He leaned against the giant wooden door for a moment to regain his focus. He continued to convince himself to defend even though the pain of his head attacked again.

“Strong yourself Aleya..” Aleya tried to bounce herself with positive things. He must be able to survive today to be able to face the largest chunk of stone that has been blocking his net. He believes that if he succeeds through the phase of his destiny this time he will live life with more ease in the future.

But it's not easy!

Tears escaped from her beautiful bead of eyes imagining her meeting again with Jagad. There is a sense of horror that still haunts every step. The nightmares of the past continue to repeat themselves for the long drama series that never ends. Aleya tormented birth and inner. In addition to the burden of the past, his physical also can not rest himself from the nightmares that continue to approach.

“Contact..” Aleya patted her own cheeks to drive away the desire to wake up to the figure now behind this door. He wanted to run in the man's arms repeatedly. But Aleya was aware of a debt of gratitude that she was unlikely to pay. How could he possibly add to the long list of debts that clearly he might not be able to repay even with anything he had? He even has everything!

Without Aleya knowing, San Hyuk was standing right behind the door where Aleya was leaning. The man could still listen to the stifled sobs that Aleya was as strong as she could hide. San Hyuk let out a long sigh while staring at the tablet screen he was clutching. Shortly after Aleya walked out of the room, the security services notified San Hyuk that something was wrong with Mrs Aleya as soon as she walked out of the room. It was reported that the woman had staggered down before finally getting back on her feet. San Hyuk immediately rushed out but urung upon hearing the restrained voice from Aleya. He then contacted the security team and asked them to connect the CCTV channel into his tablet.

“Give up..” San Hyuk prayer while staring at his tablet screen in despair. His heart crumbled, his tears falling without a cry.
