CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE

CEO'S OFFICIAL MATE
CHAPTER 43; DNA Test

San Hyuk quietly followed Aleya's wide steps. The sound of Aleya's shoe heels clashing against the marble floor of the hotel sounded resolute and sinister to San Hyuk who was used to reading Aleya's emotions from the sound of her footsteps. Even if he was in the office he could read the urgency of the news that Aleya was about to deliver from the sound of her step foot.

San Hyuk was even still surprised by the attitude Aleya had shown Robin. She wondered if the person next to her was really the same person. San Hyuk had to think to what extent he knew the woman because he still could not guess the other side of the real Aleya.

They stopped right in the lobby of the hotel where the private driver was waiting for the employer. The guard had informed in advance that the couple was heading to the lower lobby so that their driver immediately stoodby in the lobby without being asked.

Aleya threw herself in the passenger seat. As soon as San Hyuk entered he then ordered the driver to go to the hospital.

“You why?” san Hyuk asked in panic. He swept his gaze over Aleya's body from head to toe.

“I'm fine...” Aleya opened her hand and pointed at the bloodstains on the inside of her fingernails, “do not touch!” ban it when San Hyuk was about to examine the wound.

“What's up?” san Hyuk's hand stopped in midair, he could only stare at Aleya confusedly.

“I'm asking for help, Oppa. Call one of the bodyguards at home. Have them bring the toothbrush that Han Byeol wore to the hospital.” Aleya said while watching the blood on her fingers closely, “I just want to make sure something to find out exactly what has happened..”.

San Hyuk made a request for more of that order without waiting twice. He knew what Aleya meant. Aleya wanted to match Han Byeol's DNA with the man that Aleya might have intentionally hurt. That was why Aleya rushed over to leave so that she would sooner know what was happening.

It was actually not a difficult thing for San Hyuk to guess the path of Aleya's election. Together with Aleya and Han Byeol for a long time made him also understand Indonesian although not as fluent as both. Unbeknownst to Aleya's family, almost all of the conversations that deliberately used Aleya's mother tongue could be easily understood by her.

Aleya had also reminded San Hyuk to pretend not to understand their conversation. The two agreed and deliberately only used English in a conversation together to be more careful and see the situation.

“Do you suspect that his biological father Han Byeol is not your brother but his friend?” San Hyuk guessed Aleya's thought.

“Yes, but what made me even more uneasy was the fact that Han Byeol was very similar to Big Brother. If my guess is correct, it means that there remains the same bloodline that Han Byeol and Big Brother have Aleya looked at San Hyuk to support her wild thoughts.

“You and your brother are really brothers?” guess San Hyuk again.

“Iya..” the conjecture made Aleya sad. If he and Jagad are blood brothers, why is Jagad so willing to treat him like that. Even if he is an illegitimate child who seems to be adopted by the Sudjojono family, shouldn't he suffer as long as he is in the family?

Aleya threw her gaze out the window. He silently wiped away the tears that slowly fell down his smooth cheeks. This shadow is more painful than the words thrown by the Jagad.

Why did he have to go through all this?

Aleya dissolved in her own daydream.

San Hyuk chose silence and watched Aleya. It was not that he did not care about the sadness experienced by his wife. He only wanted to give Aleya time to reflect and have some time to think.  The woman he loves will not be silent without doing something. He always has a way of going through it all. Only then could he rise without leaving any wounds that could scuttle his future.

This was evidenced by Aleya's attitude during her meeting with Jagad. Aleya did not necessarily bend her knees and lost in front of the man. He can face everything more calmly. It's just the process of preparing a hatinyah that makes it too heavy to carry the burden of his mind. He fell and was rushed to the hospital. Although San Hyuk actually understood the character and how much Aleya wanted to rise and fight every time there was a problem, he was still worried if the same thing happened again.

“We've arrived, Sir, Madam!” the driver said as soon as they reached the hospital lobby.

“Thank you..” Aleya said before she got out of the car.

San Hyuk and Aleya stepped inside the hospital. The clothes of those who seemed wrong the costume caught the attention of anyone who saw it. San Hyuk had even covered Aleya's bare shoulders with his suit, but still, it couldn't cover Aleya's charm and beauty.

A doctor approached the two of them and led them straight into the lab. Their arrival had already been informed in advance by someone who San Hyuk assigned to bring Han Byeol's DNA sample to the hospital. This makes the hospital ready to welcome their arrival at any time.

“We will call you as soon as the result comes out, Mister!”

“Thank you, I entrusted this to you,” San Hyuk then left that senior doctor to pick up Aleya who was saying goodbye to the bathroom.

This matter turned out to be even more bizarre than San Hyuk thought. At first he only thought that Jagad was obsessed with his unrequited love by Aleya so he did such a heinous thing to her. If it is a matter of love, time can heal everything. But if it's true that Aleya and the Jagad are brothers, it means that there's a big scenario that Aleya hasn't figured out yet.

San Hyuk tries to concoct several hypotheses to guess what Jagad wants and why he did it to his own sister. But his mind would still be deadlocked if only this was the information he had.

“Oppa..” Aleya called San Hyuk for the umpteenth time. San Hyuk was so deep in thought that he didn't realize Aleya was already standing next to him.

“Oh, are you done?” San Hyuk grabbed Aleya's fingers to make sure the man's blood didn't spill there. He rubbed the tip of Aleya's fingers which were now neatly cut off her nails because of her actions earlier.

“It looks like I should start finding out about my origins..” Aleya had already decided that she should delve into her past. He who previously did not care is now intrigued to find a way to his past. That was the only way he could get through this.
