Pt Office. Eternal Light
'No! Ctakk! Yep! Yep!'
In this crowded office space, the sound of keyboard taps filled this room.
Occasionally, there were voices from some employees who complained because the printer machine did not want to work. Occasionally there was also the sound of shouting from the manager who complained about the performance of his employees.
Just like today.
"Brian! Brian's! What the fuck?!" shouted a man in his 30s while hitting the file on his left hand.
"I-yes, Sir? W-what's up?" ask Brian scared.
He understood very well that the shout from his manager meant only one thing. That is that he made a mistake, and will be exposed to anger because of it.
"What the fuck is this report?! Are you blind or what?! Lookie! Reports from April to June are still not included!" the manager shouted while throwing a file at Brian.
The young man with somewhat long black hair could only remain silent while tidying up the file scattered on the floor.
While the record of work sitting around him only does one of two things. Between them were silent without daring to glance, or pretending to be busy and leaving their desks.
From Brian's mouth, only one word could come out.
"Sorry...."
"Sorry?! If I'm sorry I can solve everything, then there's no need for a cop and...."
Brian just covered his ears while doing his job. Back to the monitor screen.
I don't know how long time had passed, but the shouting voice from the manager had stopped. Not only that, the sunlight began to set. Marking the end of his working hours.
"Aaah, finish also the target today!"
"Damn it, that damn manager really can't stop yelling huh?"
"Leave it. He'll be dead from high blood soon."
The rantings of some other officers were heard. The end of this exhausting day.
While Brian himself is still busy continuing his previous work.
"Oi, Brian. You're not coming home?" ask his co-worker.
"A little more and will be done." replied Brian who entered busy typing on his keyboard.
"All right, but be careful. The atmosphere at the office is pretty scary. Reportedly there are strange noises for anyone who is overtime at night."
"I don't believe in ghosts." Brian replied in an indifferent manner and then returned to work.
His partner's words have a point. Office lights are turned off one by one. Leave only Brian's desk cubicle lit up alone on this floor.
Together with him were several employees on different floors, who were also still overtime to complete their daily targets.
'Huh.... Boring once. I thought the adult world would be a lot more fun, ' Brian thought in his heart.
His work schedule started to slow down. Even his hands started to stop typing on that keyboard.
Slowly, Brian began to relax while staring at some posters beside his desk booth.
...[.This year's target! Up the ranks and earn a minimum wage of 7 million per month! Focus work!]...
In the poster is a picture of her young self, who had just graduated from college 3 years ago.
'How long has the target been attached without being reached?' ask Brian with pity.
'Is this the life I've wanted since childhood? Become a high-paying office employee? Wh-wh-what for? I don't even have a figure to support with my salary, ' Brian thought once more.
This time, Brian began to turn to the corner of his booth and stared at a different poster.
...[.MMORPG Land of Heroes will be released on December 21, 2022! It is rumored to be the best MMO game of all time! Make sure you have enough money to buy this game!]...
A thin smile began to be painted on Brian's face after seeing the poster.
'Really too.... Don't I want to buy that game? All righty! Focus up! Focus on getting up the ranks and earning more money to enjoy various games then....'
"Dies val thur...."
"Hmm? Who's that?" ask Brian who immediately turned his body. But he couldn't find a single person.
In his mind, Brian thought that maybe he just misheard it. But....
"Veult rashkurr's.... Thyrias vold...."
"OK enough! Your jokes aren't really funny!" shouted Brian who was now starting to think that his partner might prank himself.
Brian stood up and ran out. Check one by one the surrounding workbench cubicles. But in the middle of this large office space, there were only two lights on.
That's the light that's right over Brian's desk cubicle, and also the light at the exit.
Brian's heart started to beat. He could not believe that ghosts existed. Not believing at all. But how to explain that strange voice that seemed to whisper right next to his ear?
The only logical explanation was that his coworkers had cornered him by pretending to create this horror atmosphere.
Because there was no more mysterious sound, Brian sat down again in front of his desk. Prepare to complete the repair.
However, as Brian looked back at his screen, something strange appeared.
"Tu-wait. What the fuck?" brian shouted in surprise.
The monitor screen looks damaged with broken pixels and distorted graphical display.
'Bzzz!'
Not long after, the sound of short-circuited electricity began to sound.
"Damn it!" brian shouted while hitting his monitor many times.
"Fucking company! Delivering dilapidated hardware! How can I work if...."
As Brian's emotions peaked and was about to hit his monitor screen from the front, his hand suddenly pierced through his monitor screen. Not ruin.
But like.... Interested in it.
"Uugghs! What the fuck?!"
Brian tried to pull his right hand as hard as he could. His hands seemed to be unretractable. Even from the other side, there was something trying to drag his hand into the monitor screen.
Little by little, his body began to be dragged into the 32-inch monitor screen.
No matter how hard Brian tried to hold on, he couldn't resist the pull from the screen. His desk began to scatter with paper and stationery that began to fall to the floor.
Until finally.... After a futile struggle for 1 minute, Brian was fully dragged into his monitor screen.
Leave this office space.
......***......
'Braaaka!!!'
"Uughh!"
Brian fell to the ground, the view around him was quite dark. Before he was fully conscious, Brian again heard the strange sound.
But now it is no longer in the form of a whisper. Instead of hearing him being right behind his head so clearly.
"Val Karth.... Zashtum!"
Immediately after finishing that sentence, Brian began to feel a heat welling up within his body. Something hot.... And it's bright red.
When He managed to open his eyes a little, He saw a figure that should not exist in this world.
The figure of a long silver-haired woman, with pointed and long ears. While his eyes have a stunning blood red color.
"What the fuck?!"
By then, Brian's complaints about a boring day had ended.
