'Braa!!!'
Jareth hit the wooden table so hard he made a crack. His face seemed to be filled with anger and resentment.
It all happened after Brian and Cecilia told him everything that happened in the village.
"Damn it! Goddamnit! Goddamnit!" jareth shouted in anger as he continued to beat the wooden table to a crumble.
"Sorry."
Only that one word could come out of Brian's mouth at this moment. What else is it? Should he lie and make excuses?
'Braaakk!! Kraaaka! Oh!!'klaangg!!!'
Brian and Cecilia could only sit quietly in a chair. While Jareth himself was still raging, slamming and dropping many of his trading shelves.
After quite ravaging his own shop, Jareth walked slowly towards the door. Flipping a signboard in front of his shop door.
This indicates that the store has closed.
Back inside the store, Jareth locked the door immediately. His hands were visibly wounded with blood flowing from being scratched by the many iron weapons on his trading shelf.
Even so, he continued walking calmly.
Now, sit back behind the crumbling cashier table. He pulled his brownish hair back, which indirectly littered his face and hair a little with blood on his hands.
"Well...."
Jareth began to take a deep breath. Set his emotions little by little before finally regaining his composure.
"I'm sorry, I just.... My father is a very important person to me. All this?" jareth said as he spread out his hand at this shop.
"It's a teaching from him." continued Jareth. He tried hard to hold back his tears.
"And I've promised to take them both to town after I've got enough money but.... Haha.... I'm late."
That last sentence was quite heartbreaking for Brian.
If only he were in the same position, would Brian be able to stay and stay this calm? Maybe not.
"You know? Stupid time with this shop. I'm gonna sell everything and rent a little house in town for my mom. At least, I can still protect her and...."
"You sure?" ask Brian to cut his words.
"Huh? Don't you see all this?" jareth asked briefly while showing a shelf that was still fully filled.
"To be honest, you're the first customer of the month. I have to admit, I'm not talented in forging. And maybe that's why.." he continued.
Brian stood up immediately. Similarly, Cecilia who had been sitting in silence.
"Good or not it depends on the wearer. Isn't that right?"
"You're right, Bri... Reux. We will show the world that your forging is no less good. At least, that's all we can do to help you." Cecilia replied with a friendly smile.
"Wait first! You guys...."
"Shut up and clean up this shop. Then pick up your mom or something. We will help in our own way" Brian said.
His face gave a smile with a confident look.
Unlike before, Brian had surpassed his fear and doubt in the fight. This time, even more so with even more Hecate power....
Brian sure.
The two immediately turned around and walked towards the exit. A moment before opening the door, Cecilia turned her head one last time.
Gave a little encouragement to the figure of the young man.
"Just calm. Even though it's like this, we're both quite strong. Look forward to the good news from us."
Brian and Cecilia had agreed without a word. Agreed to catapult this blacksmith's name with their acquisition in the Guild.
That way....
At least, Jareth can earn enough money to take care of his mother.
And also, as penance for guilt both.
But just as Cecilia was about to open the door, Jareth called them back.
"Wait!"
"Just calm down, you're working as usual and...."
Before her words were finished, Cecilia was confused because the door in front of her could not be opened.
'Clack! Classic!'
Several times Cecilia tried it, but it did not open.
Brian and Cecilia soon fell silent. This made both of them filled with shame. And the pretentious attitude of the two of them before, instantly vanished.
....
Outside the East Forgery store
"Well, that's so embarrassing...."
"Stop. I don't want to remember." replied Cecilia who pulled the beanie to cover almost her entire face.
Now with the new equipment, both feel better prepared to face the dangers of more rice.
And with great confidence, the two of them stepped foot into the Guild. Search for another hunting Quest for them to take while looking for a room to rest.
......***......
...- Blancfall -...
A few days later....
In this far-off city in the East, a terrible disaster was brewing.
"Shoot!!!" shouted one of the commanders of the army on the stone wall.
In unison, all the soldiers followed his orders. Shoot thousands of arrows simultaneously towards the West.
The thousands of arrows that were supposed to rain down on those Frost Elves....
'Swuuusshhh!!!'
It was suddenly blown away just like that by a strong wind that appeared. A wind created by the magic of dozens of Frost Elves simultaneously.
"Dam!!! No, this is impossible!"
"How to fight it?!"
"Stupid! The balista! Firing balista!" one of the soldiers shouted in fear.
Immediately, several soldiers ran towards Balista at the corner of this defensive wall. A heavy equipment with the form of a giant arrow bow was immediately prepared.
Using arrows that were as big as an arm and as long as a human's height, the giant bow should have been able to deliver considerable destruction.
"Shoot well!" commanding officer of the soldier beside the balista user.
What they were aiming for, was the figure of the Frost Elf leading all of them. It has a slightly larger and stockier body than the others.
But what makes it so striking, is the thick armor with beautiful decorations. And at each step of his foot, bring the air cool enough to freeze the surrounding land.
Besides of....
"What the hell is that monster?! What the fuck is with his left arm?!" one of the soldiers shouted in fear.
He looked at his left arm in stark contrast to the rest of his body.
The monster had a deep black left arm and seemed to have a flaming reddish groove. The heat from the arm can even be felt from a distance.
"Destroy everything." orders the leader of the Frost Elf race, Freisch.
After he lifted his spear, his army invaded.
But....
'Swuuusshhh!!!'
The giant arrow from the balista shot right into Freisch's chest very quickly. And just before about it....
'Taapp!!! Kraa!!'kk!!!'
With just his left arm, Freisch was able to smash the giant arrow with ease. It even burned it to a charred, unceremonious moment in an instant.
"It's.... This is impossible?!"
The rain of arrows happened again. But this time, it came from the side of the Frost Elves. Massacring many humans behind the Blancfall fortress that would soon collapse.
"Defend! The knight from the holy order will arrive in a while!" shouted one of the commanders.
Some of the soldiers looked south. In the distance, behind the darkness of the forest, they could see the banners with the white dragon emblem.
"Commander's right! That banner.... It's not wrong anymore!"
"Holy rule! The holy commandment came to save us! All of them! Hang on!"
At last....
One of the greatest battles of the Luvelia Empire was fought at Blancfall.
