Cursed Thrones

Cursed Thrones
Chapter 6 - Decision

The sound of a fairly swift flow of water sounded so soothing. Not only that, the chirping of the birds around also only beautify this natural orchestra.

In the midst of it all, there was the figure of a black-haired human who was carrying the figure of a pale-white woman with both hands.

It was none other than Brian.

Slowly, Brian placed Cecilia's body near the river that flowed quite fast.

Using both hands, he took out as much fresh water as he could and began to wash his own face.

'Damn 'em.... The wound on my shoulder was quite severe as well. But....'

Brian began to glance towards Cecilia who was still lying helplessly.

His heart is still beating. His breath is still heard. But none of this makes Brian happy.

After clearing himself for a moment, Brian immediately turned towards Cecilia. Precisely towards the two small arrows that were still stuck in the woman's body.

Sooner or later, the arrow had to be ejected. And considering the current conditions can be quite safe, Brian began to prepare himself to pull the arrow.

Starting from a few tears of clothes that have been cleaned using the river water is so clear. As well as his mental preparation to see something that he very rarely saw when on earth.

Blood and wounded body.

"Faulia...."

After taking a deep breath, Brian immediately began treating the wounds on Cecilia's body.

"Slowly.... Slowly...."

After successfully pulling out the arrow, the blood began to flow quite profusely from his body.

Capitalizing on his basic knowledge of first aid, Brian immediately replaced the cloth wrapped in the wound with a new cloth.

Cleaner, also with better ties.

The treatment continued for several tens of minutes. In the end, everything worked out well.

"Phew.... I hope you're okay, Cecilia. Know it? There's still so much I have to learn from you. And also...."

Brian continuously spoke to Cecilia as if the woman could hear him.

But at the very least, it could help him through this very tiring day.

......***......

The next day....

"Uugh.... Where's me?" cecilia asked herself who was starting to wake up.

"Thank God you're safe" said Brian, who was burning several fish beside him.

"Eh?"

"You know, this magic is very useful. Is there any other magic you have?"

A smile began to adorn the beautiful face of Cecilia. Simultaneously, a drop of tears also flowed down his cheeks.

"Tu-wait first! Wh why? Are you still in pain?! Sorry I'm not very good at medicine and...."

"Thank you.... Thanks...."

Cecilia really thought that Brian would run away leaving her alone. Dead in the hands of the Knights.

However, there was no reason for Brian to help her.

Even Brian should have had quite a bit of a grudge against him, for dragging Brian in this kind of situation.

Knowing that Brian was really trying to save her....

It was far more than enough to treat all the wounds he had suffered so far. The wound that made him decide to live alone in the darkness of the forest

"Here, eat." said Brian, handing a skewer of grilled fish to Cecilia.

Cecilia could only fall silent after receiving the grilled fish. Looking at the food before him with a look that looked so confused.

"You can eat fish, right?" ask Brian again to be sure.

"Oh, of course you can! I just didn't think you could cook."

"Isn't that too underestimating?!"

They both enjoyed their breakfast and shared stories. Especially the story of what just happened to them.

"So.... Who are they and what do they want?" ask Brian again.

"The 6th holy order, exterminating the Devil. Their goal is only one, which is to rid the world of demons." explained Cecilia while enjoying the grilled fish slowly.

His eyes looked towards the distance in the North. Directly towards a very high mountain in the distance.

"That's all?"

"It is precisely because the 6th commandment is so simple that it makes them very dangerous for Satan. You see that?" reply Cecilia while pointing towards the mountain in the distance.

Brian looked up and looked at the mountain. Its size was truly enormous, and far beyond what he had ever seen on earth.

"Although it looked close, it was actually a mountain very far away. The size alone is very large." Cecilia explained briefly.

"What's wrong with that mountain?" brian asked curiously as he glanced at Cecilia.

Brian was speechless, intending to listen to the story that Cecilia would tell him carefully.

"For mankind, the Luvelia Empire was the brightest savior light. But to a Demon race like me, the Luvelia Empire is a disaster bearer.

Their 3rd Emperor, Julius, managed to kill the Demon King along with 6 other heroes. End the time when humanity lives in fear of the Devil nation.

From then on, the balance turned around. It is the nation of Satan that lives in fear of mankind. Not daring to show, even leaving the slightest trace around humans.

Because we all know.... With his little trace left behind, the twelve Sacred Commandments would sniff it out and finish off the remaining Demons. No matter how weak the demons they face....

They will always come in full force. Don't want to give even a little space or chance for Satan to survive."

Cecilia's explanation really opened Brian's eyes completely.

Previously Cecilia had only banned Brian from going all the way from him for no apparent reason. Also just focus on teaching him the language in this world.

But now, after everything happened....

"So yes.." replied Brian in a voice that was quite soft.

This world was completely different from what he expected.

Most of the fantasy stories, or computer games on earth, always tell of humanity being oppressed by Satan.

And after that, assigning the main character or player saves mankind from the Demon King who terrorized it.

But in this world....

"Wait, the hero you're referring to...."

Before finishing her words, Cecilia nodded as if understanding what Brian was going to ask.

"You're right. They are humans from another world, maybe from the same world as you.

They were summoned to this world with enormous collisions and powerful artifacts, making even a small child as strong as the great general of the Devil nation." Cecilia retorted.

Brian finally understood.

It was not this world that was different from what he had always heard in various stories.

It's just....

'I am on a different side....'

A small difference, but able to change the point of view of the people involved in it.

And in this case, it's Brian.

"Some Demon King devotees are still fighting out there, gathering back the Demon King's shards of power, Hecate, to resurrect him.

But to be honest, I'm pretty sure the Devil nation is coming to an end. Sooner or later." explained Cecilia with a look that seemed so desperate.

Even so, he was still trying to force a smile on his face.

Brian who knew all this was very upset.

All he wanted was a peaceful life that was not boring. That'sthat's all. Is it too hard to ask for that?

But looking at this situation, living peacefully for her who was already a part of the demon race was an extremely impossible matter.

Hence....

"Say, if I take another part of the Demon King named Hecate's.... Will I get stronger?" asked Brian with a serious look.

"of course. Three drops of blood in our body is proof of that. If you could earn more, you would be much stronger. Wait a minute, don't tell me you...."

Brian smiled broadly.

Before Cecilia could finish her sentence, Brian had made up his mind.

"It's decided. I will gather the rest of that power in order to live in peace without the threat as before."

"You.... If you do, it's not just humanity that's going to hunt you down. But also the Devils King. The drop of blood I just stole has already made them very angry."

"Be-so?! Wait up! Then the plan just now was very dangerous?!"

Brian was surprised to hear that. He thought that his fellow Demon races would understand each other and not hurt.

But sure enough, after all, the purpose of Brian and the devil worshipers was far different. Making a clash between the two is inevitable.

Cecilia who heard the crazy idea, actually felt interested.

"Although so.... I like your idea. Divide half the loot with me, and we agree." Cecilia replied with a big smile.

"No! Forget that idea! I don't want to add enemies and...."

"First destination! The ruins of the city of Baltmore in the East! The Demon King had fought there once, so there must still be a remnant of his strength there! Come on!"

Immediately after throwing the fish bone from her hand, Cecilia immediately pulled Brian's hand and took him away.

'Shit! Why did it become like this?! I just want to live in peace!'

With regret unspoken from his heart, Brian was forced to participate in his own idea.

A journey, to take over the accursed throne belonging to the Demon King.

Or rather, the rest of his strength.
