Chapters 146. Too Stupid

The day showed at 9 p.m. June decides to quit her job. The man tidied up the documents on the table, then turned off his computer. Then he took his foot out of the room.

June got into her car, drove the vehicle into the street. He opened the glass window of his car, took out a little bit of his hand to feel the cold air that night.

After a long journey, the car he was driving arrived at the apartment. The man was just about to get out of the car, but suddenly his eyes caught the vehicle that had just stopped not far from the parking lot. Instantly Jun frowned, seeing Shinta along with another man get off the car. The man who helped her in the pantry.

Daren was just about to open the car door, but the man turned back to look at Shinta.

"Ah yes. Shinta, leave for the office tomorrow, let me pick you up. You see, I feel bad about going alone" said Daren.

"Isn't it too much of a hassle, Mas?" ask Shinta.

"No. I'm really happy if you want to go with me. At least I have a friend talking to reduce boredom while on the trip," replied Daren.

Shinta smiled, slowly nodding her head. "alright. Tomorrow I'm leaving with Mas Daren."

Daren looks very happy to hear the approval from Shinta. The man got into his car, opened a glass window.

"Tomorrow I'll pick you up. Make sure not to leave first to leave me," said Daren smiling.

"Yes, Mum."

Daren started driving his car into the street. Shinta waved her hand, looking at Daren's car that was getting lost from sight. The girl stepped into the apartment building.

June watched the interaction of the two humans, making her a little distracted. He wanted to get out of his vehicle, and forbade the man to come again. But June was conscious. She was nothing to Shinta.

The biggest mistake that June has made is to stay away from the girl. Had uttered a speech that did not upset Shinta's heart, telling the girl to keep her distance.

After Shinta starts to drift away, strangely Jun starts to feel hollow. He felt angry at himself who had said so. However, after Shinta is close to another man, Jun feels unwilling, as if he wants only himself to be Shinta's male friend, there should be no other man.

The elevator door opened, Shinta stepped inside the narrow room. The girl closed the elevator again. Just as the steel door was about to close, suddenly something held it back, making it open again.

Shinta looked at Jun with a cold look on her face. Shinta slightly shifted her position, letting the man in and join her.

In that narrow room, the two were just sitting around each other. No one opens their voice. Shinta squeezes her fingers, trying to shake off the awkwardness. Not greeting each other makes his face a little stiff and heavy.

"I'm sorry."

Hearing Jun who spoke, made Shinta set her eyes on the man next to her.

"I'm sorry about what?" ask Shinta.

"Because it has made your hand hurt" said Jun staring at Shinta's hand.

Shinta followed the direction of Jun's gaze, then she immediately hid her hand. Didn't want June to see her hands reddened by a hot coffee spill this afternoon.

"It's not your fault, I'm also careless and not careful" Shinta said.

The elevator opened, and Shinta decided to go out first. He felt uncomfortable if he was constantly beside June. The girl always avoided one thing, her heart was always pounding. Making Shinta riled up, let alone seeing Jun who seemed to be getting away from her, made Shinta realize that the one who felt the thump was only herself. June, the man still loves his dead wife.
